Pokemon Universe 11.1: A Fresh Start

First I went to the Solaceon Ruins because I'm a Sinnohian from Snow Point.
There was some weird righting on the wall so I moved it around. I wrote GO KINGS and ICE HOCKEY. I went on in my adventure and heard something coming straight to me.
INTRUDER WHO ARE YOU?

I got a hockey stick and hit them all. Some stuck on me and I used Ice Beam to freeze them and hit them off too.

Next I went to the Ruins of Alph

Yea I know, I got out my hockey stick and beat them all again. There was more to this place.
I go down to a mysterious deep part of the ruins.
I now, will make a new, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
INTRUDER! A 460, FROM SNOWPOINT CITY, LIKES HOCKEY, TEAM IS LA KINGS!
Kill him my children.

A Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, and a Shadow Force hit me.
Ok mercy kill me
Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina all cornered on me.
I hit them all with an ice beam and crushed them, the same with Arceus.
Now finally the Tanoby Chambers
MORE OF THOSE GOD DAMN THINGS!
I pick them up and write nwonU they died.
I looked around the ruins and discovered a golden bar, but that's all I really found there. Thank God I'm back.

AH! Oh.....it was all a creepy unown based dream. Phew.

I was scared to go to Tanoby chambers at first. Then I realised that many pokemon lived their and I thought of how some o them had to be nice. So I sped along to their as a got a ride from a very kind and defiantly willing kingler. He dropped me off and then disappeared into the sand. I walked inside to find mazes that were just downright confusing. I found some pokemon that were in odd shapes who I was kind to but they kept on insisting to attack me. I had a chat with them though and soon they realised that they should have been kind and corrected their errors. I finally got out of there and I decided Solaceon Ruins would be better. I got there after a adorable pidgey agreed to give me a ride which was just wonderful. When I got there I found more mazes and more of those strange pokemon. I didn't mention their weird appearance but instead I had the same talk with them as I did with the other ones. They misunderstood though and brought me to the bottom. There I saw a blue flashing light that went really fast and very slow. I pointed to it and then the pokemon started freaking out and brought me back to the entrance for some reason. I decided that my time there was done and I took a cab to violet city. From there I walked to the Ruins of Alph. There again were the pokemon but these ones were nice. They showed me around in the maze of a place and it seemed rather pleasant when I begged to stay they kicked me out and I knew if I went in there again I would get lost so finally with my trip done I headed back to base.

Well, here's what happened on my trip!

" As I was on a boat to the Tanoby Chambers, I wondered what it would be like. I knew the feeling would be "Unown" to me, but still I wanted to experience the sensation. I had heard about this site of mysterious pleasure from my roommate, Calcul. He described it to me that it would feel as if I was high off of a very high power Geodude Chipping. I'd never took any drugs, so I was curious as to what it was like. Before I knew it, I was lost in thought at the possibilities. So much so that I almost didn't get off the boat. Before the boat left, I snapped to my senses and leaped to the first chamber, the Monean Chamber.
I slowly navigated the simple maze, but I felt odd. It took me a minute to realize why I felt dizzy and was hitting walls, then I noticed I could see myself. I could see myself from a birds eye perspective! The same went for the other chambers, except for the Difford Chamber, the center one. When I got in there, I couldn't move my legs. Then I fell over, and my eyes slowly closed. When they opened, I was in an entirely new place.
The floors were made of an earthy sandstone with regal pillars emerging from the stone ceiling. I didn't want to stay long, so I sprinted as fast as I could, sprinting around each and every corner until I saw stairs leading to the surface. I admit that I stopped to gaze at the beauty of the place a few times. After I climbed the stairs, I saw a sign. It read 'Ruins of Alph.' I chuckled after I realized I was teleported to my next destination. I then wondered why, but now I realized: I'm a Pokemon, a sort of beast, and I'm an Electric type. After that mishap, I made my way to Olivine City and bought a ticket to the Sinnoh Region.
After I got there, I set off to Solaceon Town so I could visit the ruins there. There was some rough terrain on the way, but nothing I couldn't handle. When I got there, I wasn't to impressed. There were branching pathways, but nothing interesting in them. I used an escape rope before I got to the end because of how boring it was. There was no trippiness like the Tanoby Chambers or the beauty of the Ruins of Alph. I just left. And that was my trip, and it was relatively good. "

We were split into 3 groups, each going to a different ruin. Probably because otherwise the ruins might get too crowdy, and we may scare of the Pokémon that live there. From standing camouflaged near people I gathered information that the Pokémon that live in the ruins are the same Pokémon. But are all different. That really sounds interesting. Oh, I almost forgot, I'm really happy Mommy gave me Psychic as TM for my last Birthday. Otherwise I wouldn't know how I could hold a pen and write with it, haha. Anyway, I went into the line for Solaceon Ruins. All of the other Pokémon that were in this line, I had yet to introduce myself to them... So I really don't know who was who. I hope I get to know the rest more eventually. But about Solaceon Ruins, I heard they were in a place called "Sinnoh". I wonder which language they speak there. After Tracing Iris' stran tren translator I managed to speak and read all new words. So I hope I can use this knowledge of languages there. After we went to Solaceon Ruins we will go to the Tanoby Chambers, in... I believe it was called the "Sevii Islands" in JhotoKanto and after that to Kento Johto, to the Ruins of Alph. I never been before to those regions before. So I'm quite excited!

This day was fully spent on the plane... Apparently, Sinnoh was the region farthest away, but the next flights will take less. As I spent this whole day on the plane, I decided to use it to re-read what I wrote last day. I discovered I made some mistakes with names and locations, so I crossed them out and corrected them. I decided to take a nap 12 hours before we landed, did a nap of 10.5 hours, resulting in only 1.5 hours of waiting.

It was around 01:00 when we landed, so this was the start of the 4th day. I didn't need to search long for my luggage, as I put in a stone in it which gives of some kind of energy/radiation. I think Mommy said it was a Dawn Stone. Daddy once found it in the woods when he got lost. It was pretty, so I decided to bring it with me. The stone gives of some unique radiation, so is easy to detect and it was thus easy to find my luggage.

I was happy Iris gave me that scarf, because this place is significant colder than the PU camp and the area around my home.

I was supposed to wait with the others outside of the Ruins. Whoops. I accidentally ran inside as soon as I saw it. But when adventure calls you! Nothing can stop you! Well, that's not the reason why I went in so soon... The weather outside was so cold. So I sought shelter... The cold cave wasn't really a good place to hide from the cold. And that place was really foggy too! I went deeper... And deeper. Until I came to a room with different patterns on them. They looked like letters! So I began to read them! One of the thing that I read was around the lines of "When one being meets another being. Something new is born." I don't think this is 100% accurate. But it's close... I think. After a while reading(And this was quite tough because it was foggy) the fog cleared. Apparantly, the tour guide used Defog to clear the place. They came across me and were surprised to find me here. This was when I discovered that I wasn't allowed to be here yet. I spent the rest of the day outside reading and sitting on a bench because I already explored everything and read everything there was nothing new to see there. I'm happy I brought a lot of new books with me. The book I was reading was the latest "Prosecutor Amphos Lux" and was the third book of the serie. "Prosecutor Amphos Lux: Shine ligh on the thruth." I think I read around 73 pages before we had to go to take the next plane. Can't wait to read more! Amphos' right hand Delron Cazt is the prime subspect of a murder! Oh, woops, I hope no one here hasn't read that yet... Well, it's not a major spoiler. So... yeah...

Not much more happened last day apart for getting ready for departure. I didn't took my Amphos Lux book with me, because I don't want to read the whole book into one go. So instead I was reading a comic. I really love reading, no matter what it is. Which also includes comics. I only read one comic: "Lieopardy, The thief of Justice." I'm teaching myself to read comics slowly and look longer to the pictures and the text, because that way I will do much longer with one comic.

We landed soon enough. Almost read my whole comic, I think it's only about 4 pages more till I read the whole comic book. Luckily I also brought the latest 3 volumes with me, so I can read some more. And also my favorite volume, I just can't read that one enough. Anyway, we arived on Quest Island, the place where the Tanoby Chambers are. Oh, I forgot to mention this a couple of days ago. In Sinnoh they were just speaking this languag. Erm, "English" I believe. Here, yet again, they were speaking English, no luck for trying my language data again here.

I though we again have to be accompanied by a tour guide... Here it was not the case... So I just read 13 pages of Amphos Lux, till one of the other contestants asked me what I was still doing here. Apparantly I was just allowed to roam free this time. So I hurried to the closest chamber as soon as I could to recover lost time. I think the first Chamber was the "Scufib Chamber". The name sounded really familiar to me. But I couldn't remember where and how. I met those very strange Pokémon here! Truly! They were amazing! And(I'm not making this up!) they looked exactly like the drawings in Solaceon Ruins! That can't be coincidence! I tried to talk to them. To no avail. They just floated around, minding their own business.
I then went to the East, because there were only 3 more Chambers, the rest were all to the West, so I though this way I would travel less. The Chamber I went in next was called "Rixy Chamber". Yet again, the name sounde familiar. And again, I found those Unown! But they looked really different from the ones I saw in Scufib Chamber. There I decided I should write down what the Unowns looked like! So I began to observe. I forgot to do this in Scufib Chamber. But I will get past there when I go to the other chambers. I left and proceeded to go to the East, where the Viapois Chamber was, I went in, looked at the Unown, and made notes, one of them there actually didn't even looked like a letter, it instead looked like the exclamation mark. I then headed West, because there were no more Chambers East. I got past the Scufib Chamber and went in to make notes of the Unown that were in there.

After that I went further East, first to the Dilfor Chamber then the Weepth Chamber then the Liptoo Chamber. And made notes of the Unown that were findable there. When I left the Liptoo Chamber, I finally knew why the name of the Chambers sounded so familair! I put them next to my Unown notes. I wrote these notes on a seperate sheet of paper than my Dairy, but I think I will be able to find some glue and put it on the page before the 5th day. After realizing about the names, I went to the last chamber, the Monean Chamber. Most of the Unowns there were "A" shaped. Luckily I was able to spot a different looking one before I left. This one was again not shaped like a letter, instead, it was shaped like a Question Mark.

I returned to the meeting place as last, but, in-time. We went back to the airport to get ready for our next flight. They said it would take less time than the previous one. I wonder if we still arrive in the same day.

Haha, we indeed managed to land in the same day! A close one, because we landed at 23:54. And that left me with enough time to write this in the same day. However, I think I will be able to put my notes in the next day. So I will leave the next page open.

I have to say my favorite chamber was the Liptoo Chamber. Because I knew how to write it without looking at the sign everytime. And I really like Tulips. Also, 3 kinds of unown there reprecent 3 letters of my name. The U, the G and the O. I also liked the Rixy Chamber. Because that is also a very nice name, and it reminds me of Iris. I wonder which plane she took.

Yep, today I was able to purchase some glue in the gift shop just outside of the Ruins of Alph. The most noteworthy things about The Ruins of Alph was that yet again there were Unown here. Sadly, all of them were here, so I wasn't really able to make notes of them. We were allowed to roam free again. But we were also allowed to stay nead the Tour Guide. I decided to stay near the Tour Guide, so I would receive some interesting facts about the Ruins. Probably the most interesting fact was that these Ruins were conected to some Ruins far, far, far to the North! I think he said this place was called the "Sinjoh Ruins." I also bough some other things from the gift shop, like Fossil Pokémon shaped puzzels! I probably be busy with these puzzels on the trip back to the PU campsite. The Tour took the whole day, so after the tour we immediatly gathered around and went back to the plane to get ready for departure for the last day.

I accidentally fell asleep while being busy with a puzzel. I really must have been exhausted! I normally never fall asleep when busy with a puzzel or while reading. But for everything is a first time! I woke up when the pilot announced that we have to fasten our seat belts because we were about to land. We landed safely, just like the previous time. I only was a bit scared at the airport when I went on an airplane for the first time, but Officer Dright told me flying is the most safest way to travel, and thus I wasn't afraid to fly anymore. And neither was I afraid on the flights that occured the previous 6 days. I can't wait to tell Iris about my time in the Ruins!
 

And with that, I end this journal in my dairy. Please, even if you have my whole dairy in you hands, only read the pages that contain about my trip. Because a dairy should be private to only 1 person. And perhaps someone else that the owner of the dairy knows very well. I think I should put my next journal in a different book. I think the Fossil/Unown themed notebook I bought at the Ruins of Alph Gift Shop will be perfect for this! So, note to self: Next time, use Fossil/Unown notebook to function as journal.

Perhaps it was last summer... No, the summer before that? Whatever, it was a summer that wasn't this one. Haru () and I, being bored young women, wanted to do something exciting over the summer. Normally, we visit the Ruins of Alphabet every year, since Haru suddenly became an archaeological junkie during the 6 or so year gap I didn't see her, I usually get forced to tag along with her. I though that year would've been different, but NOOO, all that changed was that they opened a new relic. Once again, I got dragged along on some boring tour which I'm pretty sure is older than Betty White.

And I was probably right. Not much had changed since the many years we've been here.

Here we are, seeing the same sights EVERY year. Yeesh, how does this not get bland to you?
Becuuuz Mrina, we haven't seen ANYTHING out of the ordinary here! Aren't you just itching to uncover some sort of conspiracy?
No.
Guuuh, if you're going to be like this, why do you come with me evry year?
Because you keep dragging me along, dumb***. anyway, where's this new relic they said they uncovered?

Haru pointed to a nearby relic. It's entrance was blocked off by orange tape. Looks like we wouldn't be getting to see whatever was in there anytime-

Before I knew, she shoved me inside the relic and carefully replaced the tape to where it belonged.

The chamber itself looked rather intriguing. That was probably because of the sunlight shining through the cracks in the roof, it gave off a rather cool effect. Perhaps this is the kind of feeling Haru savored, I thought. She buzzed around the chamber like a Beedrill and shined her flashlight (When the hell did she get that?) on every spot possible, until her eyes settled on the big pedestal.

Oooo, is this some sort of ancient puzzle? Mrina, you take these stones to the passage at the front while I get to work on this.

Haru proceeded to hurl a Dawn Stone and Dusk Stone at my face while she got to work at the puzzle. Damn, those pieces look pretty heavy; I hope she doesn't drop anything. as for me, I took the stones to where she asked. Okay, I know this is breaking-and-entering, but I was kinda' curious back then. Anyway, the passage on the wall read;

THE DUSK IS ALWAYS COUNTERED BY THE DAWN

Suddenly, the stones in my hand started glowing and shaking. No, wait, that was the chamber shaking. What the hell? I hummed the discovery theme from Zelda as the wall caved in and the stones vanished. Okay, someone outside HAD to hear that. However, for Haru's sake, I put my emotions aside and proceeded onward.

The room ahead wasn't all that special. All it had for me was some herbs and some diary. This specific person wrote about wanting to uncover the mysteries of the Unown and visit all of the 'hot-spots' around the world, stuff like that. They were definitely not worth the two stones I sacrificed. The herbs, I mean.

Oh dear, what did Haru do this time, I wondered as I hurried back to the main room. Where I remember Haru standing happened to be a hole in the floor. Looking through, I thought I would've seen Haru, but she was nowhere to be found. I didn't intend to selflessly jump after her, the footing under me simply... crumbled! Yeah!

Well, one way or another, I fell through the rabbit hole and ended up in, what do you know, another room. -.- This room seemed to have Unown language written on the floor, but I didn't pay attention to it; Haru was standing in front of a passage at the end of the room.

Yooo! You alright over there?!

Haru...?

Haru was apparently murmuring something. My best guess was that she was reciting the passage on the wall. Out of instinct, I moved a bit closer to listen to what she was saying. She seemed rather... out of it, so I didn't want to approach her just yet.

They possess great insight and refuse the outside world. We humans must learn to walk in harmony with them. We depart for their sakes. Our words shall remain here for the ages.

Eventually, this got rather repetitive, so I finally tried approaching her.

Y-You're alive, right?
Ahahahah... I found them all... ahahah... now I'm finished here....
Er... you alright?
Hm? Oh, there you are! Didn't you use the stones yet?
Personally, I'd rather put your well-being first. Did you, er, get hurt from the fall?

I never exactly figured out what happened that day. Perhaps there was a clue somewhere I missed? Screw this, I challenge you to find that answer... whatever the hell that may be. What matters most is that Haru acted rather strangely the next few weeks. Mainly, she put up the whole archaeology thing as a facade, while in real life, like me, she was simply trying to run from boredom. After that trip to the Ruin of Alph, though, some deep interest in the Unown grew inside her, as if her 'research' or whatever was one of her children. Not that she has any children. -____-

The next week, Haru and I flew to the Tanoby ruins. In case you don't know where that is, it's this chain of seven caverns somewhere in the Sevii Islands. As cool as it sound, I wasn't impressed at all.

To start off;

What the hell's with these mini labyrinths?

Each of the caverns had this symmetrical maze structure to them. While they weren't exactly annoying, the concept got rather stale after four or so chambers. I don't know what Haru saw in these boring-*** caves anyway. Yet again, the peculiar Unown seemed to have some connection to it all. Every chamber, Haru would say something like;

Judging from the passages here, that must mean the Unown that reside here are... Ahhh, my research is going swell~.

When exactly did she start this research? Hell if I'll ever understand her.

That month really was a busy month for me. Haru had already booked a flight to Sinnoh after that whole Tanoby Chmbers event. Being tired of the whole Unown craze, Solaceon Ruins was especially boring for me. It was just like any other cave in a dungeon-crawler, save the now overrated Unown. Yeesh, how far is your obsession gonna' go, Haru?

Haru, you seriously have to stop with this whole Unown thing.
Ah! Maybe if we gather all 26...

Haru seemed rather detached from me at this point. Did her stupid research matter more than her best friend?

Fine! Be that way!
Now, how do I round up 26...

Fuming with anger, I attempted to storm out of the cave... No, wait, wasn't the exit down these stairs? Or, wait, was I supposed to take that turn?

I was lost. Damn it.

Buuuut, this isn't one of those dramas where Haru finds me then we become BFF's again. Lucky me, I prepared and Escape Rope for once! After a couple of seconds of awkwardly spinning in place, I was outside. Yum, sunlight. Next, I needed to decide what to do about Haru. I didn't want to turn this into a kiddish drama, but she really meant a lot to me. Sorta'. Then I realized we had only one Escape Rope. And I had to hold onto it.

Awww.

Wow. Why does everyone except me have perfect navigational skills?!

Finally, Haru's Unown obsession had finally ceased to exist. My friend was back.

Now the funny part is, the next time I asked Haru about the trips, she said she didn't know what the hell I was talking about! She also seemed pretty damn shocked when she noticed there was money missing from her account. I'd love to wrap my head around this, but seeing as I'm not used to this timezone, my eyes hurt like a little b!tch. Nighty night, this has been... um, Mrina, with the *yawn* Mysteries of the Unown... *yawn* or something like that.

Iris's Adventure Around The World

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, a great explorer by the name of Iris Talas lived in a mystical land called the Dream World. Many a wonder were treasured there, and it was rumored to house one of the most priceless treasures of all time, known as the Link Orb, which could tell exactly what anyone in the world was doing. However, inevitably, the Link Orb was hidden away in a sealed chamber out of anyone's reach, that could only be opened by magical keys, hidden deep inside the Tanoby Chambers, Solaceon Ruins, and Ruins of Alph. Many explorers had tried to search for these keys, but to no avail.*

Iris Talas, however, was not afraid of the tales and rumors that circulated the Dream World about explorers who have perished on their bold quest, or have vanished into thin air. No, she was even more intrigued and encouraged by these, and one day, she decided to set off to the three ruins; lots of people advised her not to go, but she'd made up her mind already, and was not going to let a few unproven tales and rumors deter her. Armed with an ancient yet detailed map and lots of supplies, she embarked on her quest to find the keys to the Link Orb.*

First, Iris Talas went to the Tanoby Chambers in the Sevii Islands. At first glance, it appeared that the chambers had no purpose whatsoever, just a series of old building dating back to thousands of years ago, but there had to be much more than just that, of course - Iris knew better. She went through all of the seven chambers, exploring each chamber thoroughly, reading every word of every scripture of every wall of every building. After she had been through each and every corner of the chambers, however, she'd lost all hopes of finding any signs of the key, when she found something very unusual; a deeper chamber, *filled with ancient runes that she could not understand.*

All of a sudden, the runes jumped out of their positions on the walls, and shot a hundred red beam at Iris. She quickly fought back by firing shards of ice of her own, but it soon became apparent that she was heavily outnumbered. She knew that she had no choice of defeating these creatures, so she fled from the chambers, but not before hearing the ominous words, "Great disaster shalt be brought upon the fools who dare touch the treasure deep within..."

Feeling deflated but still confident, Iris set off for Ruins of Alph in the Johto Region. In contrast, the ruins here were much larger and grander, and seemed to hold thousands of secrets within its hidden chambers. A puzzle was blocking the entrance to one of the deeper chambers; Iris, being the intelligent explorer she was, solved the puzzle without ease as expected. What she then found, however, was not at all expected; she discovered a labyrinth of a maze, and to her horror, saw that the entrance she had come through was now blocked. It was either death or going through the maze somehow.*

Another thing she noticed was that the walls were covered with the very same runes she'd encountered in the Tanoby Chambers. Intrigued by this, she took a closer look at them and try to decipher them. However, before she could even attempt to read the runes, they jumped - or rather, floated - out of the walls, and spelled themselves out. Iris, although she was quite scared, read aloud the words that the runes spelt out:

"WE ARE UNOWN"

"THIS IS OUR HOME"

"IT WOULD BE UNWISE TO PROCEED"

"AS THE DEADLIEST TREASURE AWAITS"

The runes who called themselves the Unown then dissolved into the walls, and were unmoving once more; nothing more than ancient runes on walls. Iris, uncertain yet reluctant to give up, pressed on, until she came to yet another chamber deep inside the labyrinth, again blocked by a puzzle. Easily solving this puzzle as well, she walked into the room...

...Only to be greeted by a hundred beams of red light. With great struggle she managed to put up a Protect around her just in time, and using Blizzard, knocked the attackers out in one hit. She then saw the reason why the Unown had all attacked her without warning; they had been protecting a mystifying body of water at the back of the chamber, the wall behind it showing the mural of Ho-oh and many Unown surrounding it. Taking a deep breath, she plunged into the pool of crystal clear water...

Iris felt her body being sucked through a narrow tunnel, her eyeballs being pushed back against her skull and her cyan-colored ears being flattened, but only for a hundredth of a second; just as suddenly as the sensation had swept over her body, it was over, and when she reopened her eyes, she found that she was in a completely different room. "Where am I?" she said out aloud subconsciously. Suddenly, runes on the walls, also Unown, stirred to life, and led Iris into an even deeper chamber.*

There, Iris saw the most beautiful mural painting she'd ever seen in her life; Dialga was in the centre, and all around his body were five turquoise gears of some sort - surrounding them were hundreds and hundreds of Unown, and the wall showed a beautiful sunrise behind them all. There was also a tablet in front of the wall, and Iris gingerly deciphered the words.*

"A long, long time ago, when the almighty Lord Dialga first became the governor of time, he created five gears known as Time Gears, and hid one in each region.*

Over time, the Time Gears became mistaken for very rare treasures, and began to be hunted down by explorers. This must not happen, as if one is removed from its location the time in its region will come to a stop. We would assume that you came here to seek the key to what they call a Link Orb, which is actually a Time Gear. Please, spread the word, so that no more may look for the Link Orb - or, the Time Gear - ever again. That is all I ask of you."

Iris stopped looking for the Link Orb after this, returned to her homeland of the Dream World, and spread the tale. The residents were surprised to see that Iris had come back in one piece, and they didn't hesitate to believe what Iris said about the Link Orb not existing at all, but rather it actually being a Time Gear instead. The word spread all across the region of Unova, and at last, the Time Gear was at peace.*
 

Bonus points to whoever gets where I got the surname from. ;D

(OOC: RIGHT AT THE DEADLINE. Whew. Glad that's done. The Ruins of Alph and especially the Solaceon Ruins had to be drastically cut short because I wrote them in like a half hour. Shame on me.)

*Returns from the trip* Celebrating our differences!? The places all hold Unown; they're pretty darn similar!! Anyway, here's what happened.

"I wonder what this place is all about," I muttered to myself as the PU jet soars over Kanto. We pass Vermilion City and from then on fly over the ocean. "Um, pilot? Where are we going? We passed Kanto."

The pilot gave me a sideways glance, speaking in detached sentences.. "We're headed to the Sevii Islands. String of islands colonized by Kanto. The Tanoby Chambers are on Seven Island."

"Oh. I see." I said nothing more to avoid distracting him.

Before I knew it, I saw land. The pilot was right, there were seven islands all in a cluster. "Well, get ready to jump," the pilot said casually, then added as a joke, "Hope you got your parachute."

The fur on my back stood up. It wasn't a joke to me. "W-wait... what?!"

"Oh, here's your stop. Have fun!"

I was pertified. I couldn't jump! I had no parachute! "I-- I can't! I never was told I needed a parachute!!"

The pilot sighed. He whirled around in his seat, wrapped his giant tongue around me, and threw me off the plane!

"WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUU--" I was cut off as I hit the water. Hard. I surfaced, sputtering and paddling to stay afloat, muttering curses to the pilot. A Lapras surfaced just under me, and I stood on it's shell. "Oh. Thanks, Miss Lapras."

The Lapras scowled and shouted, "WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK I'M A GIRL?!"

"Woo, hey dere lady!" croons a Kingler from a rock a few meters away. "You lookin' FINE!"

"I'M A DUDE, MAN!" The Lapras shouted, then shook me off his back to go pick a fight with Kingler. Luckily, there was an island nearby, and I swam to it, shaking as much water out of my coat as possible.

"I hope I landed near the chambers..." I muttered. I spotted a sign and read it.

TANOBY CHAMBERS
DILFORD

"Well, I'm here, but what does Dilford mean?" I asked of no one in particular. As if to answer my question, I spotted a tunnel entrance a few feet away. It was pitch black inside.

"This must be where I have to go for the challenge!" I announced excitedly, again to no one but myself. I plunged into the darkness, and almost immediately the walls begin to glow with an erethreal, golden light.

"Creepy..." I whispered.

Suddenly, five figures floated from the wall. Small and black, they floated towards me while saying little words.

"Pe,"

"Jay,"

"Queue,"

"Elle,"

"Arr,"

I looked that the little things with consternation. They had big, curious eyes. Admittedly, they were kind of cute.

"Um... Hello," I said nervously. Thy each said their little words again. It almost sounded like they were... naming letters. In fact, they looked like letters, too. Were they a kind of Pokemon?

I looked at the R one. "R for Roderich," I laughed. The R jumped as I said it's letter. "I wish I could spell the rest of his dear name. Are there other letters?"

The letters floated to the cave entrance and hopped up and down. I followed them and peered outside of the cave, looking left and right. I saw several other small islets with caves atop them. "Are the other letters in the other caves?"

They cried out happily. "... I'm just going to assume that was a yes. R, come with me. We're going to spell Roderich!"

After traversing between the islets, and exploring the chambers Weepth and Liptoo (I had asked R why they were so named, and he had replied by saying R repeatedly. I dropped the subject), I found all the other letters of Roderich. I arranged them all with excitement to spell...

"Rodeich," I groaned. It was wrong! "I need another R!"

The R jumped. "Not you! I need ANOTHER. A second R."

I looked at the incomplete name and sighed. "I wish he were here right now."

I began to hear piano music, softly in the distance. "In fact, I can practically HEAR him playing his piano right now!"

Curiously, I turned to the left and, on a rock a few meters from the islet was Roderich playing a piano!

"What the-- Roderich, dear! What are you doing here?"

He looked up absently from his playing. "Oh, Elizaveta, dear, didn't you know? I have a piano in every zip code."

To my speechlessness, he continued. "You're on a challenge for Pokemon Universe, I assume? To where are you headed next?"

"The Ruins of Alph," I replied immediately. "But I don't know how to get there."

He cracked a sly grin, rare for him. "Let me help you, then."

Then, suddenly, by the power of music, I was whisked away in a flurry of music notes. Next thing I was aware of, I landed on a dirt path, not an ocean in sight.

"He looks so cute when he uses inexplicable magic," I said to myself as I walked along the path. Sure enough, I found a sign.

RUINS OF ALPH
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CENTRE

Walking in, I spotted several old, ruined buildings and one new one. Some Pokemon in white coats, carrying machines and papers, dashed from one building to another, busy with their work.

One spotted me. "Oh, um, hello little lady," he said, skidding to a stop. He looked over in the distance. "Bill, do you know this lady?"

The scientist known as Bill looked over. "No, no I don't. Jeff, you know this lady?"

Jeff emerged from the new building. "No, I thought she was with you, Frank."

The Raichu by me bristled. "I was the one who asked the question in the first place!"

"I CAN SPEAK FOR MYSELF YOU KNOW!" I shouted, to get their attention. "I'm just looking around, okay? Chill out." I walked towards the nearest building, the three Pokemon turning back to their work distractedly.

I entered the building. It was very cave-like. There was a pedestal with several stone tiles on it.

"Oh, hello, miss." Jeff said, entering. "Are you going to attempt the MOST DIFFICULT PUZZLE EVER?"

I blinked in confusion. "Um, what?"

"This slidey-puzzle," He explained, "Has been stumping our families for GENERATIONS! Many have tried, many have--"

I cut him off by putting the last tile in place. "Dude, it just makes the shape of a Kabuto."

"OH MY GOSH SHE SOLVED IT! SHE SOLVED THE PUZZ--"

He's cut off again as a trap door opens and millions of the letter Pokemon fly out!

I gasped. "The letters! Like from the Tanoby Chambers!"

A big wave of them swept me up like a magic carpet and flew up into the sky. I looked down over the ruins and saw the scientists dancing with joy as the letters flew around.

Next thing I knew, the letters had carried me to Sinnoh.

They dropped me in front of a cave. "I sense an on-going theme here..." I said as I entered, warily. "I bet there are more letters here."

"Sea!" exclaimed a high-pitched voice.

Sure enough, a letter that looked like a C floated towards me. "Hi, little letter! How--"

"WOW, AN UNOWN! HEY PERSIAN, THANKS FOR FINDING THAT FOR ME!"

I flinched and turned around. A little kid ran towards me and grabbed the C. "Sorry, Caps Lock was on. Anyway, here's a Seal!" He threw a C sticker at me and ran away.

"He just kidnapped the..." I trailed off, not sure what had just transpired.

: MAN does it feel good to be seperated from those two! I feel like...having an adventure! *enters the ruins*

*Inside the Monean Chamber*

: Huh, were these ruins always shaped like a long tunnel?

*Adventure Sphere floats ahead, until he sees a spot on the ground that looks like a pressure pad*

: Ha! Ain't falling for that one...! Wait. I can just float over it.

*Adventure Shere floats though several chambers of pressure pads and bottomless pits*

: They should've took floating Pokemon into consideration when they made this chamber...

*Enters a large room with a golden statue resting on a pedestal at the other side*

: So this is what they are hiding in here! Who would've thought?

*Adventure Sphere pulls out a bag of sand which he covienently had, then quickly swipes the statue, replacing it with the bag*

: Welp, guess that's- *hits the bag of sand of the pedestal as he turns around*

INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! RED SPY IN THE BASE!

: Uh-oh.

*Adventure flies out of the exit just before it closes, then gets chased by a giant boulder through the tunnel*

: What the hell, I don't remember there being a BOULDER hanging over the entrnce to that chamber!

*Adventure Sphere flies out in a dramatic pose as the boulder go over his head and crashes into the ocean*

: Whew, that was close. I think that's enough adventuring for today. I bet I could give this statue to Milo as a gift...

Part 2: Fact Sphere Vs the Secrets of Alph

: Excuse me, do you know where the puzzles are?

: Over there buddy. *points to a building*

*Fact Sphere enters the chamber, there is a large puzzle in the center and a researcher staring at it*

: Gah, no...that doesn't work...

: Are you in need of assisstance?

: Yeah, I just can't seem to figure out this puzz-

: Done.

: What the hell!? You finished already!? Aww, now I just look stupid!

*The floor collapses and the researcher falls through and slams onto the floor below hard, while Fact Sphere safely floats down*

Part 3: Space Sphere's Super Spacetacular Solaceon Ruins Adventure...IN SPACE!

: Hello? Space?

*Space Sphere is randomly wandering the ruins, moving from one staircase to another with no pattern*

: You there space?

*Space Sphere enters a large chamber, the chamber is mostly empty but there is the corpse of a Bibrarel in the corner*

: Hey, have you seen space?

: *Is dead*

: Is that a no?

: We might have seen space...

: Yes, space...

: REALLY!? WHERE?

: Through this door, is space.

*The Unknowns open a door to what looks like the gates of hell*

: Space is right inside there.

: YAY! THANKS! *Space Sphere charges through the door, and the Unknowns close it*

: What a fool.

*All the Unknowns start to laugh manically*

*Suddenly, Space Sphere comes down the same staircase he used to come into the room in the first place*

: Heeeey, you meanies! There was no space in there!

What?! How are you here?

: I walked.

: Alright then. PREPARE TO TASTE OUR FURY!

*Unknown used Hidden Power! It's not very effective...Space Sphere took 4 damage!*

: SYSTEM SENCING ATTACK. PREPARING TO DISCHARGE.

: Wha?

: DISCHARGING IN THREE, TWO, ONE, FIRE!

*Space Sphere shocks all the Unknown with Discharge*

: *sigh* Well, no space. But I explored this place like Fact Sphere told me too, that's good! I hope he rewards me with space...

: Adventure Sphere: And that's how I got this statue. Pretty awesome, right?

Fact Sphere: Personally, I think solving the secrets to the Ruins of Alph are more important.

Space Sphere: I think I should've been able to go to space! Why won't anyone let me go to space?

Adventure Sphere: *sigh* Guess things are back to normal again.

Sent in mine a bit ago. Also, I felt bad for not giving the Monochrome Team any cupcakes, so I whipped up a batch. They all are plain vanilla flavor, but the frosting packs in a random type. The type changes the flavor, like Grass is fruity, fire is spicy, ice is minty, etc. Enjoy!
