What grinds my gears is the application of "Freedom of Speech" only when people find it convenient. I'm a gay atheist (Christianity does x.25 damage XD), but I get annoyed that when we picket things for our rights, it's freedom of speech, but when Chick-Fil-A makes a comment about "traditional family values", it's bigotry. It's kind of an unfair playing feild in my opinion, but that's life I guess. Can't we all just get along?

It's not mutually exclusive; I wasn't saying that. What I think I'm trying to say is that when there's an argument, neither side tries to see where the other one is coming from. In this sense, both sides tend to be bigots. What I was emphasizing is that it tends to be the anti-gay side that's called bigots. That probably doesn't clear anything up, sorry ._.; I just feel like in general, we should tread lightly when we are approaching things as signifigant to others as religion (for example, because that's usually the issue as far as homosexuality goes), because in the end, we're just fighting for what we believe in, but we tend to go about it wrong I guess...or not wrong, just inconsiderately.

well, here's what I hate. Not just one thing, but a few:

1) When people do fake accents. It just makes you sound stupid, stop it.
2) When people say something is "perfect." Nothing is flawless.
3) people who have crappy grammar. honestly, learn to use punctuation instead of making huge run on sentences. Oh, and use commas. It makes stuff easier to read.
4) Stupid teachers. you all don't deserve your degrees, idiots! I can teach your class better than you!
5) People Who Capitalize Every Word When They Write Something Like This. Honestly, it's annoying.
6) People who use numbers in their usernames. Be original.
7) People who get mad when people criticize them when they ask....physical questions.
Example: So how does this dress look on me?
Me: Eh, your yellow one looks better.
*other person gets mad.*

Honestly, I'm not going to lie if you ask for my honest opinion.

I actually had to search up the phrase to see if it originated from a different comedy, but nope, it's Family Guy.

What grinds my gears is when people think that show is good. Yeah, it has a few funny moments, but sometimes they switch to music performances to fill up time so they don't have to write new material, and the majority of the "humor" in it is just profanity.

It also grinds my gears when kids think profanity is funny, and copy others just because they want to fit in and be "cool". I have a cousin who now wears pants around his ankles, laughs at profanity, swears, and is probably going to start doing drugs sometime soon.

And when get a drink and I tilt my head to far back and whatever I was drinking spills all over my t-shirt, down my legs, and on the floor in front of me.
It's not too bad when I'm drinking water, because it doesn't get sticky or anything, but when I drink soda, juice, and other stuff like that, it's pretty annoying. XD

I also hate it when I can't find anything to eat, or when I accidentally delete a save file on a game, or when I die in a game and have to go to a far away checkpoint, or when I can't get to bed, or whe-*shot*

It's from the movie Airplane. Family Guy copied it. They even directly state they copied it in the commentary for that episode. The thing is it was really a one line thing, and didn't overuse it like Family Guy.
