Now, now. Everything has a use and function within a niche audience. Despite that, I wouldn't call the iPhone the future of gaming if somebody beat me over the head with a steel catfish labelled "Cod the Unburning" and paid me to advocate the concept to impressionable pre-teens in the back alley of postmodern dystopia.

The iPhone, from a critic's perspective, is just a different market full of third party developers - no different than Steam or the XBLA. If somebody rolled up Steam into a cellular phone and tacked on a bunch of other gizmos like an accelerometer and flash camera, people would probably call it the future of gaming as well. But do we call it that now? No, we call it Steam. It's a Valve product that some often attribute to the equivalent of Malware.

Anyway... You know what really grinds my gears? Medical side-effects. I'm not supposed to get ED for another decade at most, darnit!

i know dude, try being a human guinea pig and see how that feels.
i get migranes so i went to a doctor, they just kept perscibing painkillers that were new on the market and had barely been tested.
ine of the side effects (and i had this one happen to me even though i was a freaken 9 year old) was that it simulated a heart attack.

for some reason, I find it infuriating to watch 9-13 years-olds running around with their own iPad, hipster clothing etc.
