Favorite Gen II Pokemon?

I have so many.... Snubbull for one (I know he's not that great of a pokemon but I think he's adorable and reminds me of my puppy jinx!) Chikorita,Cyndaquil,Hoothoot, Pichu, igglybuff, flaafy, aipom, corsola,Teddiursa, porygon 2. :3 Basically anything cute I fall in love with! I think Gen. 2 was probably one of my favorites.

My favorite gen. 2 Pokemon was probably Scizor. I remember on every runthrough I would do bug catching contests until I captured a Scyther just so I could eventually get Scizor once you get the metal coat.

I like too many of them to narrow it down to a single one so I'll mention a few instead, Typhlosion, Ampharos, Espeon, Umbreon, Stantler and Lugia.

Chikorita, Togepi, Marill, Lugia, and Quilfish are my favourite johto Pokemon and may be Slowking to the others are ok.

Feraligatr!!! Since Crystal was my first ever game and Totodile was my first ever starter. For a long time, he remained the highest level Pokemon ever which I raised. That too, to just Lv.65. His record was eventually broken by my Black Version team, one of which eventually reached Lv. 79.

Furret, Marill/Azumarill, Heracross and Pineco/Forretress are my favorites.

This list was easier to throw together than most of the other generations. ^^ Unlike most people, I'd say that Gen II is probably the least-appealing batch of Pokemon... Just my opinion, though! Still love them, I just don't have as many favorites in this bunch as I would other generations!

Umbreon for sure. It's my favorite Pokemon of all. xD

Other than that thought there'd be the Mareep line and the Cyndaquil line.

HOUNDOOM! so totally death-metal hellhound! plus, wayyy back in the day, he was the only fire type that could solar beam. sunny day, solarbeam, fthrower, and then the doomalicious crunch.
crobat is also one of my all time favorites. i always liked golbat in blue, but as you all know, golbat totally sucks.

Houndoom is at the top of the list, followed by Typhlosion, Murkrow, Skarmory and Raikou.

Mareep/Flaaffy/Ampharos and Houndour/Houndoom!
I also really liked Chickoria for some reason, too, which is odd because I'm usually not a fan of grass types xD

And of course I'm going to have to say Umbreon and Espeon too; I'll always be partial to eeveelutions <3

My absolute favorite second gen pokemon has to be good ol' heracross. Hes a bug/fighting which is a cool typing in my opinion. Hes incredibly well designed on a rhinoceros beetle. Also hes one of few unevolved pokemon to come sporting great stats. His attack...

The Gen 2 Pokemon my favorites are Furret, Quilava, and Typhlosion because of the animals they are based on.

To be honest, Gen 2 has the least number of Pokemon I like. I based my favorite Pokemon on the real life animal its based on, so all Pokemon that look similar to mustelids or felines are naturally my favorites [one quick example that comes to mind, 5th gen, Watchog], even if they are the worst in their generation by stats or moves.

After reading about Quilava's origin [Bulbapedia: Its appearance is similar to most animals in the Mustela genus, although it is most likely a stoat based on its lack of a tail and the fur on its upper body being significantly darker than that on its underbelly] and Typhlosions origin [Bulbapedia: The appearance of this Pokémon is mainly based on the honey badger. It may also seem reminiscent of mustelids and wolverines. It has a long and agile body, like weasels, though it is significantly larger and thicker than its pre-evolutions.] - I learned to love them more. Weasels are my favorite real world animal.
