I am going to guess that Iris is no longer a gym leader in White 2.
Just a feeling I have based on her not being on the cover of the guide and the White 2 player not showing the badge case.

Well, that would be quite a shock for people who still think the anime influences the games. Both of Ash's current companions losing their role as Gym Leaders now.

I still hope she's the leader in White 2.

Yes, from the footage it actually looked like something I'd want to give a try. Unlike the Musicals, I still hate Bianca for forcing me to enter that building.

Not really. Brycen might be mandatory because he is part of Pokewood.

We still don't know if Lenora is continuing her maintenance of the museum or pursuing an archaeology stint, or if the Striaton Trio are still part-time Gym Leaders, or if Iris is still a Gym Leader/tutor. So there's nothing necessarily mandatory about them.

Well, I'm hoping Lenora is an Elite trainer and Iris is still a Gym Leader, so it would be pretty much mandatory to meet them...

We could meet Brycen without needing to play the thing, like we met Fantina in DPPt. But I am not complaining.
