Yes, I am aware of that, I was just expressing my disdain of not being able to hear KK's performances of songs when buying through a shop, my belief being that the experience of listening to music in your house isn't really complete without KK performing it in the Roost first.

Maybe I'm just not expressing myself very well. Never mind.

Here's a website that plays the Animal Crossing music from whatever game you want (AC, WW/CF, NL) and it plays the correct hourly tune based on real time. I think it plays KK music on weekends, if I remember correctly.

Release dates, additional English footage, there wasn't as much as I would have hoped in that Direct but it's a start.

I'll be considering it. I've enjoyed previous AC games, but I always find that I give up after a few months and allow my town to die. I'm not sure if it's worth it because of that.

I'll be seriously considering buying the Animal Crossing themed 3DS:XL if it comes to the UK (especially since I'm almost certainly end up getting both Pokemon X/Y, and I'll want to be able to trade between them).

But does it come with Animal Crossing actually already downloaded onto the 3DS or does it just come with a copy of the game? I'd prefer to have a physical copy of the game, so that I can play it on either 3DS.

If it's anything like the Fire Emblem 3DS, then yes, the game is pre-loaded. It's tied to the system, so when you transfer your data from the old system, you will need to redownload Animal Crossing from the eShop, as the transfer will delete the game file. There shouldn't be anything of importance on the included SD card.

I know what I'm basing my town on....Humilau City (or Town)! I'm gonna make it resort-esque. Nintendo just gave me a hard time on what game to buy for summer. Either the HD Port of RE: Revelations, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 3, or THIS!

Yes. June 9 for US & June 14 for Europe & Australia.

Since I've gotten finals and stuff shortly after, I'll probably not be picking it up until later in June (probably right before I go away). Still really looking forward to New Leaf! I could see it occupying much of my summer!

I still break out my gamecube from time to time just to play the original and make a perfect town in less than a day. I don't know why I love it so much but I do xD

The release date is the 9th of June in the US, and the 14th of June in Europe. They actually announced it during the last Nintendo Direct, so we're not actually waiting for a release date any more... we're just waiting for the game itself

Physical, since I pre-ordered it already. Call me old fashioned but I do like having the box as a trophy/symbol of sorts.

I'd personally go physical, just because I'd rather have the physical games. One reason is that if I end up not liking it, I can trade it in and at least get a few bucks out of it.

The only AC game I've played in City Folk. I enjoyed it, but didn't really play much of it, though I tend to play much less on consoles than on handhelds. I probably won't be buying New Leaf on release date (then again, things may change between now and then) but depending on my cash flow, I should be able to get it by the end of summer. Maybe it will be the game that will get me addicted to the franchise
