Okay...I have a weird problem, and I'm hoping I'm just doing something wrong, and this isn't some weird glitch. I have a sunkern and I have multiple times given it a sunstone, and it won't evolve! I even leveled it up holding the suntone, just in case, and that didn't work either. This is happening in Black 2.
Am I doing something wrong...? Like, I don't know, in Black/White 2 sunstones don't evolve sunkerns or something? Has anyone else had this problem/can anyone confirm that this happens in other peoples' games as well?

Did you tell sunkern to hold the sunstone or did you select sunstone and "use" it on sunkern? because you need to use the item on the pokemon for it to work

It's not necessary at all (you could just read a bit of background information if you play the sequels first), though it would be preferred. You'll have a much richer experience if you play BW, then BW2.

The keys are transferable between different language versions. I transferred a key from my Japanese White 2 version to my English Black 2 version with no issues.

The easiest way I have found to get more shards is to buy a load of Super Repels(try 99), and bike around the Relic Passage looking for dust clouds. Relic Passage, at least for me, seems to have the highest pick up rate for shards over an other cave I have been through so far.

I don't believe you need the three other Muskedeers in BW2. Just take Keldeo to Pledge Grove, north of Floccesy Town.

I just beat Marlon and when Colress told me go to the Seaside Cave I realized "I need a surf user!" As you can see in my sig, my team's Water pokemon is Azumaril who isn't well suited to use Special moves and I assumed that no HMs would be needed as White didn't need any. I had to trade over an Oshawott I had in White just to be able to progress in the story. Is this the only time where an HM is needed to progress in the story?

After achieving the Shining charm, the Shiny odds will be 1 of 2,370.6 for encountering a wild shiny. But what if I'm at double grass, will the odds change to 1 of 1185.3? Since you encounter 2 at a time. (Most of the time.)???

If I were you, I would equip my lead Pokemon with the Amulet Coin and continue in the story (or if you have finished the story) beat the Elite Four and the daily trainers. The Amulet Coin gives you a lot of money, especially if you can find Gentlemen and Ladies to battle.
I honestly can't remember where I read it, but I found out that Amanita's Eevee is always maleHowever, you can get a DW ability Eevee in the Hidden Grottos. There is a very small chance you will encounter an Eevee in all of the Grottos.
I had the same question about Yancy/Curtis's Pokemon, and yes, you can change those Pokemon's gender. Just save before you get on the ferris wheel with Yancy/Curtis and you can reset if the Pokemon they trade doesn't have the right gender.
