I'm having trouble adding friend codes to my palpad. I can enter the code and yer but my game doesn't register the player, like their name doesn't turn blue/red and a gender icon/character doesn't show beside the name.

iirc, it doesn't do that until you actually trade with your friend. When you first register a FC in your pal pad, their icon is a "?"

That's correct, you have to actually connect with the person first.

Go to an opening behind Alder's house. You'll eventually reach a new place where you can teach it Secret Sword.

I've never seen the former before, but I know the latter means the Pokemon has capped its EVs in that particular stat at a value of 252 points.

It's impossible. You need two systems, it can only be done over local wireless.

No, only DW females can pass along DW abilities to their offspring.

Sorry, searched for answer and also searched for how to start a new thread but no luck.

I traded my brother Flaffy (level 16) for Sewaddle (level 2) so he could use it in battle. When he was done, we tried to trade back and it was not permitted. Can anyone help me as to why or how to complete the 'return trade'?

if you were trading via IR, and the pokemon are in your parties sometimes the game wont let you trade (usually if one has an HM)
try placing the pokemon you want to trade in your PCs, and then trading. With the new games, you can grab things from your PC to trade =)
