This is probably a really silly question but is there anywhere to see the base and final stage of the starter that you and your rival didn't pick? As far as I can see no trainers have them

You may be able to see the other final stage, but only if you Memory Link to an original Black or White that will give the missing final stage to Cheren or Bianca. However, as that requires two systems, one may as well simply trade. I don't believe there's a way to see the missing base stage, however.

Unfortunately yes you have to trade it in. It was the last thing that got done before I dealt with the Shiny Haxorus.

Good news and bad news: I got N on the Ferris Wheel, but I haven't caught Reshiram and Kyurem yet. I didn't get the weather team, so apparently that has to be done first.

Post E4, since it's in the same place as it was in BW, and you can't access that until you beat the game.

Outrage isn't in Arcanine's level-up move set, so the reminder girl won't give the option to "relearn" Outrage, since it technically isn't in the move set that the relearner looks at when determining her selection of moves to teach. She'll only allow you to relearn the six or so moves in Arcanine's level-up set.

From my own experience, you can see Pokemon multiple times(and in my case ten times before you see another Pokemon).

It's Anticipation(it's DW ability). And it's post-game.

There's water in Summer at least. I haven't been there in any other season but Summer and Autumn though.

Yes. You have to go to Undella to get to both Opelucid and Seigaiha, and you have to go through Seaside Cave to get to Route 21 and do all the Plasma stuff at the end of the game.
