Part Five: The bugs, they are struggling
*Awesome sailing cut scene here* Omg! Legend of Zelda Wind Waker! JK!
"[Pop Roxie] Everyone, we've arrived at Castelia City!"
"[Rigel] So this is Castelia City..."
"[Rigel] It's much bigger than I'd heard. But it doesn't matter! I'm going to find Team Plasma no matter where they run!
He talks for a bit and registers me in his Xtransceiver. We both notice a big sailing ship.
I left the pier we were in and entered Castelia City. What a big ci--
"[Harlequin] Welcome to Castelia City! It's the Castelia Harlequin Hunt!
And just like that I was greeted by a clown.
"[Harlequin] I bet this is your first visit to Castelia City"
"[Harlequin] That's great! Here have this Bicycle!"
And now the clown gives me a bike.
He explains the rules to the Harlequin Hunt and where I have to go.
But before that. I explore the first area/street of Castelia City. I talked to people and entered some buildings. The first one was
the Passerby Analytics. I talked to all the people there and answered ALL of their questions. The second building I entered
was the Battle Company, where I was greeted by a janitor guy. He gave me an Exp. Share. I went up the elevator and battle
the employees they have there. After finishing this floor I went into tthe elevator and ascended to the top floor, where I battled the
company's president. He has an Eevee! :O After the battle, I went to the Pokemon Center to heal my team. However. There
was a lady stading in front of Nurse Joy. Hey! Quit blocking the way! I talked to her and after she explains what Geonet is, she
moves away. Finally.
I exlored the other piers in Castelia City. In one of them, I took a bout to Liberty Island. I ran around the Island for a bit and
realized there's nothing to do there. I entered another pier and took another boat. This time leading to Unity Tower. I entered the
tall building and I was greeted by a security guard. Oh snap! They'll find out about my secret marijuana stash in my bag!
This is bad! Strangely enough, he let me pass. I talked to one of the receptionist and she told me this is where the people
who you've traded with come to hang out. Oh cool! I visited the other floors where my so-called trade pals are.
Hey there guys! Long time no--
They are repeating the same thing over and over...
I went out of that miserable place and back to exploring the other piers. This time I went to the Cruise Dock and--Holy Cow!
That's a large ship! Looks fancy too! I talked to the lady next to the ship, and she says it only operates in the evening. Bummer.
Now I enter the inner portion of Castelia City. Starting first with Castelia Street. Lots of people here coming and going. I entered
the first building I came across, which was, the Game Freak building. Went inside and up the elevator and talked to the
Game Freak staff. Two of them wanted to battle, so I accepted. Once the battle was over, I explored the othe building near
Game Freak's. Then entered the central area of Castelia City. This place looks nice. I went to Mode street next. It's
slightly smaller than the prevous one. Oh well. At least they were selling Ice Cream! Yeeeaaaahh! I bought a dozen.
Strange...They look like Vanilite.
Oh well. Om nom, munch, crunch, slurp.
After eating those delicious Ice Cream, I took a quick tour of Studio Castelia. Next, I went to Narrow Street.
They weren't kidding about the name. This place is cramped! Anyway, I proceeded to go through the street when suddenly...
Some guy showed up, out of nowhere! Or rather, behind the dumpster. He gave me some sun glasses afterward. Wooo! Swag!
I entered the cafe in this alley. Bart the Enderman gave me a Moomoo Milk. That's nice of him. I talked to the other people and went out.
This time I went north. Past the Castelia City Square and explored some more. I entered one of the buildings here.
There was a party going on in one of the buildings. Woohoo! Par-tay! But before I could go up, a guard of some sort starts frisking me.
Hey! Keep your hands of my junk! After he finished I'm allowed to go up. Next time, I'm gonna get a restraining order.
I went up and it was awesome! There were people talking, yay! After that I checked out the other buildings and went inside the gate, where
Bianca greeted me. She started talking and after she was done she gave me a Dowsing Machine. Finding items will now be a piece
of bacon. Also, I think I should finish stuff here in Castelia City first before moving forward. Next I went to the street that has the Pokemon
Gym. I entered the Medal Office first and talked to all the people there. I've also found the final Harlequin. Forgot to mention them.
The medal guy with the orange glasses doesn't seem to be here. I went up the third floor and talked to Fennel. She briefs me
about Game Sync. When she finished I went back to the ground floor and had the lady "massage" my Riolu(Special). Then I talked
with the Name Rater and gave my two Riolus new names. Trace is the specially-based Riolu and Tekken is the physically-based Riolu.
Then I proceeded to the Pokemon Gym, which was blocked by Clyde the Pokemon Gym guide. He says Burgh the Gym Leader went off
somewhere. Then a girl comes along...
"Huh? Burgh vanished again?"
"[Clyde] Oh! Hello, Iris"
"[Clyde] something came up and Burgh isn't here right now"
"[Iris] Hmm. Isn't Burgh always vanishing though?
"[Iris] He always says he has artist's block and just goes wandering out of the gym"
"[Iris] Hi there! Who are you?"
I'm Exe and I'm looking for--
"[Iris]...Looking for Team Plasma?
How the hell did she know?
"[Iris] But Team Plasma disbanded two years ago!"
"[Iris] I guess that doesn't matter! You're having problems, so I'll help you out!"
She thinks for a bit and just runs off. Clyde the Pokemon Gym guide(I love saying that name) says she's probably around the Pokemon Center.
So I go there and look for her. But before getting to the Pokemon Center I talk to the Harlequin and as a reward for finding all three I was
given a Candy! It's not just an ordinary candy, it's a RARE candy! So I get to where Iris is.
"[Iris] Hey! C'mon! Thumb Pier is past here!
"[Iris] If you mention a suspicious place. The only places that come to mind are Narrow Street and here
I follow her and we enter Thumb Pier. And--whooaaa! The fabric of space just warped!
Rigel comes along and asks me if I found Team Plasma. Yes, they're in the sewers. Hiding in there like the s*** the are. lol
Rigel enters the sewers and I follow. He talks for a bit and we team up. Doubles ftw! We explore the sewers first. Battling trainers and wild
Pokemon, as well as picking up items. I have to say, he makes a great Nurse Joy. After exploring the sewers we found Team Plasma.
Rigel's mad at them like usual. Once our "conversation" was over, we engaged the two Plasma Grunts in a Double Battle. I noticed Rigel
only had one Pokemon, his Pignite. I'm guessing he'll add more Pokemon later. With our tag team combo, we totally decimated the two
Plasma Grunts. After the battle the Plasma Grunts say they got the Pokemon they need and ran away again. Rigel says there's probably
more inside and that we should investigate. All of a sudden...
"I don't think that's necessary you two!"
"[Rigel] Could you be Gym Leader Burgh?"
"[Burgh] Yessir! One and the same! And there were no one suspicious beyond here!"
Except for you...
"[Rigel] Is that so...?"
"[Burgh] Yes indeedy! I'm concerned about Team Plasma as well"
"[Burgh] More importantly, shall we leave this place? For some reason this sewer is BUGGING me(Get it?)."
"[Rigel] Huh...Didn't you and the other Gym Leaders fight Team Plasma two years ago?"
After the conversation, Rigel gives me HM Strength.
Oh, great. Another one.
"That was an excellent demonstration of battling. The way you bought out the power of your pokemon against an opponent like Team Plasma..."
What the hell's wrong with your HAIR!? azgsxdcasgukasikjaisg
"Astounding. Simply astouding. Interesting as well. I see..."
He then walks away. Leaving me and Burgh dumbfounded. Afterwards Burgh leaves as well.
I went through the cave where that guy with the weird hair came out. I'am now inside the Relic Passage. As usaul I explore the area, battle trainers, picked
up items, etc. There isn't much to do here right now.
Now, using a forbidden technique. I manipulate the planet's seasons and turn it into Spring.
I went outside, then back inside the sewers and viola! The sewers are now filled with water! I explore the other parts of the sewers that were inaccessible
and got some items. I stumbled in some sort of room with nothing in it and a room with a scientist inside. I talked to her and she told me she's been
using the sewer sludge as an ingredient for healing items. She then gives me a Super Potion o_O
I explored the other passage previously blocked by a guy, who was looking for something. I went up the stairs and discovered a small park in between some
buildings. There was a person there so I talked to him. He says this is where Castelia City started. Huh.
It does look somewhat nice. Using the forbidden technique again. I turned the seasons back to Autumn.
I finally exited the sewers.
Iris asks me if something happened in the sewers and that I should go challenge the Gym Leader.
I healed my team at the Pokemon Center and headed to the Gym.
I entered the gym and talked to Clyde the Pokemon Gym guide and gave me a bottle of Fresh Water again.
This gym looks fun. I entered the cocoons and battled all the Gym Trainers using only Loyalflame. I played around in the cocoons a bit, zipping back and
forth. The noise it makes sounds addicting. After playing around, I took the cocoon leading to Burgh's room and--eww...
Why is there paint spilled all over the floor!?
Also is it just me or did I repeat too much of the same words?
Anyway, my team:
Loyalflame Lvl 22
Trace Lvl 20
Tekken Lvl 20
Sir Pent Lvl 22
I start out with Loyalflame and he sends out his swadloon. I use FireFang and quickly OHKOs his Swadloon. He sends out his second Pokemon, Dwebble.
I use FireFang again and he uses RockPolish hoping to out speed Loyalflame, which worked by the way. He outspeeds Loyalflame and hits him with
a SmackDown. Super Effective! My retaliation attack was FireFang. I then switch to Tekken, knowing Loyalflame will easily be KOd by the next SmackDown.
Tekken gets hit upon switching. Surprisingly, his Dwebble even outspeeds Tekken, who, is faster than Loyalflame. His Dwebble attacks with SmackDown and
Tekken retaliates with Force Palm which paralyzes Burgh's Dwebble. Then Burgh decides to be a d*** and uses a Hyper Potion. Tekken attacks the
fully-healed, paralyzed Dwebble with ForcePalm. We use ForcePalm again and for some reason Dwebble ends up using RockPolish(The next turn is the same as this one).
We use ForcePalm one last time and KO! Finally. That was getting old. A voice I hear in my heead asks if I want to switch or not. I say yes. So, I switched Loyalflame
back onto the field and Burgh sends ou his final Pokemon, Leavanny. His Leavanny outspeeds my Loyalflame and he gets hit by Cut. Cut, on a Gym Leader. Seriously?
I order Loyalflame to use FireFang. And it's a OHKO!
I won! I get my new, shiny Gym Badge and a useless TM. After the battle Burgh talks about some stuff and I run around his room for one last time and take the east hole.
It leads all the way to the ground floor. I go to the Pokemon Center and do the usual.
