I am asumig that you are using deoxys in defence form? If so, I would think about using a moveset something like
    Counter
    Mirror Coat
    Recover
Psycho Boost/Psychic/Dark Pulse/ something for type coverage.
Granted this being in game, it doesn't mater too much. That would be great for catching dittos for breeding though.

You go to the Museum in Necrane city, and talk to the meteor, at the top left; I think an old man is near it.
Then it tells you which form it has changed to; talk to it until you get the form you want.

So, today I beat Skyla and now I'm exploring Reversal Mountain together with Bianca.
    My team at this moment:

    Samurott lv.37-Torrent
    Reversal/Aqua Jet/Surf/X-Scisso

    Frogger the Croagunk lv.34-Anticipation
    X-Scissor/Poison Jab/Revenge/Work Up

    Torterra lv.36-Overgrow
    Earthquake/Curse/Razor Leaf/Bite

    Growlithe lv.35-Intimidate
    Agility/Flamethrowerl/Close Combat/Flame Wheel

    Xbot the Metang lv.35-Clear Body
    Pursuit/Zen Headbutt/Bullet Punch/Return

    Vibrava lv.37- Levitate
    Crinch/Rock Slide/Fly/Dig

    Zoroark lv.38-Illusion
    Fury Swipes/Night Slash/Scary Face/Dig

Held items coming later, because I'm now rotating Lucky Eggs for some faster leveling.

You might wanna try seeing if you can get a Dry Skin Croagunk before putting too much effort into leveling it up if at all possible. It's infinitely better than Anticipation, since water's pretty common and the total immunity/healing is phenomenal.

Sorry, this might sound cheesy, but I'm already attached to it because I give them characters and after he hatched he was capable of beating lv.11 Patrats. Also he was helpfull by a lot of battles. I know Dry Skin is better, but the only thing that can be changed are the moves.

Now I have 7 badges and fighting Plasma in Opelucid City

    Samurott lv.44-Torrent
    Reversal/Aqua Jet/Surf/X-Scissor

    Frogger the Toxicroak lv.42-Anticipation
    X-Scissor/Poison Jab/Revenge/Work Up

    Torterra lv.43-Overgrow
    Earthquake/Rock Polish/Razor Leaf/Bite
I changed Rock Polish>Curse because the double speed makes Torterra really scary for my opponents.

    Arcanine lv.47-Intimidate
    Outrage/Flare Blitz/Close Combat/Extremespeed
Wow, a lot has been changed here, this is the set I keep using. Maybe I'll put Wild Charge somewhere but don't know with which move I can replace it. Any advice?

    Xbot the Metang lv.42-Clear Body
    Pursuit/Zen Headbutt/Bullet Punch/Bulldoze
Only changed Bulldoze>Return becuase it is mostly too slow. But he will evolve soon so maybe that's fixed.

    Flygon lv.45- Levitate
    Dragon Tail/Rock Slide/Fly/Earth Power
    And Vibrava evolved!

    Zoroark lv.42-Illusion
    U-Turn/Night Slash/Agility/Dig
Went to move remember for U-turn, the rest will be special. Someting like HP(fighting), Night Daze, Flamethrower.

    Zangoose lv.43-Toxic Boost
    Work Up/Dig/Revenge/X-Scissor
A new member of the team; Zangoose! It's having now already a fine set and can deal some good damage. And I was lucky with Toxic Boost because I use the first one I see.

    Thundurus lv.42-Prankster
    Thunderbolt/Revenge/Heal Block/Agility
And another new member of the gang. It's the Thundurus I caught in White; I don't have accces to Dream Radar yet. Prankster is handy because I can get an Agilty (Nasty Plot later) in first and after that I can hit fast/hard.

So that is the team for now. I'm planning to teach one of the Elemental Punches to my Pokemon, but I don't know which one and on which Pokemon. Probably I'm going for Ice Punch (for beating Iris) on Zangoose (due it's amazing Attack) any suggestions?

Today I've got my 8th badge and beat Team Plasma. Now ai'm working on hetting shards, BP, items and TM's for the E4.

    Samurott lv.49-Torrent
    Reversal/Aqua Jet/Surf/Ice Beam
I need only 1 more Blue Shard and then Superpower>Reversal

    Frogger the Toxicroak lv.48-Anticipation
    X-Scissor/Poison Jab/Revenge/Work Up
Still the same: Work Up will be replaced with Swords Dance when I've got enough BP

    Torterra lv.48-Overgrow
    Rock Polish/Wood Hamer/Crunch/Earthquake
Teached him Wood Hamer via the move reminder and Crunch is replaced with Bite. Still don't know which boosting move I want: Curse for boosting Defense+Attack and lowers speed, Rock Polish for speed and Swords Dance for power. Or I replace the boosting move with Stone Edgel

    Arcanine lv.51-Intimidate
    Outrage/Flare Blitz/Close Combat/Extremespeed

    Xbot the Metagross lv.48-Clear Body
    Meteor Mash/Zen Headbutt/Bullet Punch/Bulldoze
    And Xbot evolved!

    Flygon lv.50- Levitate
    Dragon Tail/Rock Slide/Fly/Earth Power

    Zoroark lv.47-Illusion
    U-Turn/Night Slash/Agility/Dig

    Zangoose lv.48-Toxic Boost
    X-Scissor/Shadow Claw/Close Combat/Swords Dance

    Thundurus lv.49-Prankster
    Thunderbolt/Revenge/Strength/Agility

First, this thread is only for BW2.
And which moves do they now? It doen't seem balanced, due 4 Pokemon having an ground weakness and 4 also a fire weakness.

Ooh, I forgot to mention, I changed the movesets on one of my Pokémon from Platinum. My Infernape now knows Flamethrower, Close Combat, Rock Slide and Grass Knot. I haven't changed any other teammates that I can remember, except on Black1 where I swapped out Aggron for a DW Salamence I caught in a White2 grotto, and then traded that Aggron to White1 in exchange for my Armaldo, which I later traded to White2 as a collection piece rather than as a teammate.

I'm trying to plan a team for Black 2, but I'm having some trouble. So far, I'm thinking:

    Serperior (Unova)
    Arcanine (Kanto)
    Flying Type (Altaria?) (Hoenn)
    Magnezone/Metagross? (Sinnoh/Hoenn)
    Water Type (?)
    Whatever (?)

The regions next to the Pokemon are there because I want to have one Pokemon from each region. (I can have two from a region though, since we only have 5 regions)

I've restarted my game and I chose Oshawott and caught a Sewaddle.
My planned team (fully evolved) for this playthrough is
    Samurott
    Chandelure
    Leavanny
    Flygon
    Jolteon,
    Crobat
I tried to make at least half of the team Unova pokemon and the other half random pokemon that have nice typings, I like and from other generations.
I chose Oshawott because I wanted to use a sewaddle so I wouldn't choose Snivy, And if I chose Tepig I wouldn't have a chance to use Chandelure because I don't like having a pokemon on my team that has at least 1 type the same. I also have had great experiance with oshawotts and I've used them queit a lot. I have used Snivy once and it was fast but Crobat has the job for fast on my team and I;ve used Tepig twice, 1 shiny the other normal and Oshawott turned out to shine the best and I like the design better so he earned a spot on my team. Sewaddle, I need a grass pokemon and I would like to use a bug pokemon. Despite the fact that leavanny has 4x weakness from flying and fire it can take out dark types and psychic which I need, is fast and I love it's design and the pokedex entries so, earned a spot on the team. Flyong, it was either sandshrew or flygon. Flygon would take more time to catch and then evolve my trapinch twice for Flygon. Being a dragon type I really need one of those and also being a ground type makes it better for me. Also not having the weakness to grass or water helps out alot. (NOTE TO SELF: I wont use it against ice types....) It's design is great too and I needed something to handle electric types and dragon types because ice types are a little harder to get my hands on in this game and a little to late in the game to catch like Piloswine. Also with the sandshrew part I am planning to use it in another playthrough after the soul silver scramble run.
Jolteon. I like it's design and since I didn't use it in my electric monotype I used a galvantula instead I wanted Jolteon to shine and I do not plan on using it on the playthrough after soul silver scramble run. I like it's design with all the lighting bolts as fur and the pokemon is very cute and can handle water types with leavanny and not only that, something to save leavanny and flygon from flying types. Just what I need, after catching eevee I get a thunder stone from Nimbasa City so I don't need to wait solong for it to evolve and it's movepool looks good. Earned a spot on my team.
Chandelure, I need a fire type, Chandelure having a ghost-fire can come really handy against ghost types and psychic types. Great. Fighting and normal types won't effect this pokemon so it should be fine. It is caught around at the 6th/5th gym badge and I didn't know if I can handle that long without a fire type to take out grass, steel, ice, bug. But leavanny can take out bug, crobat can help take out bug and grass for the time being too so it should be fine. I like it's design because it looks interesting, great movepool and typing and same with the ability. I could've got Volcarona but it's movepool isn't to good and its caught at level 30, and needs like 29 levels to get better moves. I've used Growlithe and it was fast and great but it would probably evolve at level 35 so it's moveset is complete and I can't really aford that long. Magby design looks sorta wierd but it's movepool is great and evolves into magmar at level 30 then trade with magmirizer into magmorter. Great but... it would be to much of a hassle to get the magmirizer for Magmorter and then trading it then trade back. Vulpix is to late in game, right before the league. And chandelure looks worthy enough to find a place on my team.
Crobat- BEASTLY,FAST! Great stats, REALLY FAST and I've used one in soul silver. It was tough, extremly fast and bought me to victory in the pokealthlon. Being a flying type itwould be able to learn fly and I need that. Also being a poison type is good and I need one. Being half flying takes out the weakness of ground from poison so Crobats weakness are just about Psychic,Ice,Thunder,Rock and maybe steel. Yeah it is a lot but some of those would not be able to handle crobats speed and stab attacks.
This is my planned team and I've already got Swadloon and dewott in roxie gym.

Default My planned team for Pokemon Black 2

So SO SOOO sorry for the double post!
Also I'm figuring out the moves for my pokemon. I'm also wondering if crobat can learn venoshock and toxic? If so I can have a great combo with those attacks. What do you guys think?
Also Cloud_Arcanine if you find the move relearner and give her a heart scale you might be able to give Samurott Megahorn. It may save his life from a grass type but seeing all of the bug type moves it is optional. You can always teach Samurott Dig TM. You get it early in game because you probably want a ground type move to help save samurott from an electric type.
    Hope it helps.
I'll post my pokemon movesets when I catch all my team and get them to at least level 30 and upgrade their moves because I'm only in castelia city.

My Scrafty, Ampharos and Crobat have also become my main Battle Subway team, although as soon as they get to battle 20 they epically fail. I never double type my team so it's always fairly balanced. I only beat Skyla a little while ago so I still need to get some TM's like ice beam and thunderbolt. I also normally have a fire type which feels strange but my team is proving to be pretty ok without any fire in there.
