So far I know I'll be using Ampharos, Darmanitan, and Braviary, and a Breloom if I can find one in a Hidden Hollow.

Everything else is TBD. I'm trying to go with 3 special attackers and 3 physical attackers, and since I already have 2 (maybe 3) physical attackers, my remaining Pokemon will probably be special attackers. I want to use Aggron though, so who knows.

This is my current in progress Black 2 team.
I'm getting close to catching volcarona and claydol! Right now I'm using oshawatt as my water until I can get frillish and growlithe as my fire until volcarona. This will be my elite four challenge team!

Can you catch buizel before the postgame though? Because I looked at the Pokearth and all I saw were ones that went up to level 55, suggesting they are post game only.
In Lostlorn Forest, Route 23, or Victory Road, using Surf.

    Also, can someone answer...?
    My planned team is:
    Weavile
    Samurott
    Ampharos
    Simisage
    Skarmory
    Arcanine/Volcorona
Any suggestions is fine by me.

    Let's see.

    Samurott (Again! xD)
Lucario (They come relatively early, so why not?)
Zoroark (I'm totally using N's Zorua)
Musharna (I will transfer a Munna egg over if it appears too late in game.)
    Something that can Fly
    ???

    Possible alternatives

    Chandelure
Flygon (My favorite Pokemon before Musharna existed.)
Vaniluxe (I like it, but it's movepool is terrible. :/)
Haxorus (I missed out on Axew in White because I couldn't find Mistralton Cave... It'd be nice to use it here.)
    Skill Link Cincinno
Sawsbuck (She was surprisingly useful in White.)

your team is good the only thing i would change personally would be simisage, even though they have good speed
i would prefer a dual typed like either: roserade or amoonguss both grass/poison or sawsbuck for it's attack

i'd choose haxorus over flygon even though they have the same type disadvantages ice is 4x stronger against flygon than w/ haxorus which is only 2x also i prefer haxorus attack stat

    electivire/ roserade/ eelektross/ heracross

haxorus - dragon dance/ swords dance (for sweeping), earthquake (makes use of mold breaker a lot of types), outrage/ dragon claw (STAB), iron tail/ brick break (covers ice weakness)
Arcanine - Flare blitz, Wild bolt, Close combat, extreme speed
Samurott - physical - waterfall (less power, more accurate/aqua tail (less accuracy more power - i prefer this even though it has less accuracy i haven't missed that much with it), swords dance (boost attack), x-scissor (grass weakness), night slash (good against most types plus got high critical hit - i think)
Zoroark - Night burst/ night slash (critcal hit) both have STAB, HP flying for all weaknesses, u turn ( to switch out and works well with ability), flamerthrower/ focus blast (flamerthrower to covers a few types - both cover steel types which are very defensive)
Reuniclus - pain split (to regain hp and deal damage), psychic (STAB), Shadow ball (covers ghost weakness and other psychics), flash cannon/energy ball/focus blast/hp fighting (for type coverage and focus blast cover dark type weakness - hp fighting for weakness also better accuracy

I personally have no qualms about using Nat. Dex pokemon pre-E4. This is what I am planning so far (this is what I will go with as soon as possible.)

    Tepig (My personal fav!)
Piplup/Marill-Sap Sipper (Depends, a water with an Imunity to Grass, or one that gains the steel typing. ???)
Elekid (This line is my favorite Physical Electric line)
Axew-Mold Breaker (Love this Dragon! Besides, with mold breaker, I can teach it Earthquake and take care of Tynamo's line)
    Zorua-Snarl move (Fav Dark Type)
Eevee-Anticipation (I want a good psychic type and Espeon with Magic Bounce is said to be awesome.)

I have ALL starters, so as soon as trade is possible I am doing that. Any suggestions would be nice.
As for Piplup/Marill, which one would be better for Ice Beam? That's the BIG deciding factor here, if it is Piplup, I'll go ahead and breed one and teach it the move. If it is Marill, then I will have to wait until I get the game.

it's a good team and i think like B/w you can trade after the first gym badge
for you piplup/marill situation it comes down to what will help you the most a water steel which is immune to poison and has a dual type for better coverage or a water which loses a type disadvantage and gains health from grass attacks

Hmm... Nicknames are incredibly important, but I forgot about them in my last post.

Eelektross aka *Mjollnir*-Because Thor's hammer shoots lightning when it strikes his anvil, and this guy can hit either physical or special.
Reuniclus aka *Cellular*-Because he's made of cells, duh. Plus, having him around boosts my cell reception--I even get wifi! lol
Chandelure aka *Doomfire*-The G-rated and blasphemy-free alternative to naming her Hellfire.
Samurott aka *Masamune*-After the famous dual-wielding samurai, and the greatest swordsman who ever lived.
Ferrothorn aka *Feyblade*-Mixed reference here. Battle tops meets DnD grey elves.
Haxorus aka *Khleevur*-Caveman-ish spelling of "cleaver", because he's a battleaxe with legs.

I've played Emerald, Platinum, Heartgold, Black and White vanilla, so I'm going to do Black2 (or White2, not sure which I'll get yet) a little different.

I'm going to trade some eggs containing one of my favorite Pokemon from each generation (all of whom I haven't yet used on an in-game team, excepting Lapras who I used in HG) + Dratini because none of the others could Fly.

So my team should look like this:

    Lapras
    Typhlosion
    Sableye
    Leafeon
    Cinccino
    Dragonite

I think that's a fairly balanced team. I'm hunting for some female Sableye/Minccino/Dratini with Hidden Abilities so I can get breeding, but I'll probably start breeding the others once I finish soft resetting for this Magic Bounce Espeon...

    Scolipede (Megahorn/Poison Jab/Cut/Rock Slide)
    Chandelure (Fire Blast/Flash/Shadow Ball/Energy Ball)
    3DS Friend Code: 0404 - 7523 - 0951 - Feel free to add me

OR Team: Sceptile, Sableye, Aggron, Milotic, Altaria, Manectric

As of December 13, I lost my copy of Alpha Sapphire, and over half of my competitive Pokemon and shinies + event legendaries with it. The worst f*** up in my entire life.

    That is a surprise!

Seems that we have a similar taste in our in-game team choices.. well, minus two or three.

My Team for White 2 will hopefully be based on what I like and prefer when it comes to the individual design of each Pokemon. The unique typing of every member of the squad gives me multiple solutions for the in-game events when dealing with rivals, GYM leaders, Plasma Members, and the Elite Four. Granted, it isn't the most solid unit defensively; yet offensively they are quite effective.

    Volcarona:
    Set:
    Heat Wave
    Roost / Giga Drain?
    Bug Buzz
    Quiver Dance

The Moth's set is that of the usual attacking special power it possess with a possible Bold nature for with Roost addition. Of the many Fire attacks it can learn, Heat Wave has a special place in my heart ahead of devastating ones like Overheat and what not. Quiver Dance is a must to boost the various capabilities of the Moth as it pisses off a couple of characters like a certain Criminal Mastermind and a young Sailor Hydra Moon Champion with Bug Buzz. Giga Drain is a nice alternative to Roost against Rock, Ground, and Water types however the effect of Roost is much greater.

    Zoroak:
    Set:
    Night Daze
    U-turn
    Hone Claws
    Focus Blast

Ah, Zoroark... WHY U NO ADD KAREN TO GAME GF!!!!

    *Sigh*

Anyway, Zoroark's addition to the game is a bless for someone who never had the chance to obtain the Illusion Fox and its baby. As seen in the moves above, I'm pulling a gimmicky set for the game. I have this trend that I've started since Platinum; I take things slow. You now how? Whenever I face a trainers in the game, I give them a chance to set up on me so that I can enjoy the matches. The set I chose is a combination of that with my realistic need to sweep some tough Leaders later on. Between the choices I was presented with, Night Daze had the upper hand over Dark Pulse. I love its name, and the fact that it's a signature move for Zoroark is thrilling. Hone Claws provides that needed boost against weak opponents as it helps the accuracy of both Night Daze and Focus Blast. U-turn is there for safety.

    Serperior:
    Set:
    Aqua Tail
    Coil
    Leaf Blade
Leech Seed / Dragon Tail / Outrage?!

Of all the Unova starters, Snivy has been always my favorite even before the official release of the full evolution. My desire was to take advantage of the Pokemon's special powers yet the first game didn't deliver because of the shallow moves they provided and that possible support GF has for the Tepig line... humph! So, on my Pokemon White adventure I utilized his physical moves in an Adamant set with Leech Seed. This set runs in a similar way as it picks up three moves in Coil, Leaf Blade and the new duel between Leech Seed vs Dragon Tail vs Outrage. Aqua Tail is the new addition thanks to the tutors. I may revert to a special set with Dragon Pulse, Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Gastro Acid or Calm Mind.. maybe.

    Altaria:
    Set:
    Dragon Pulse
    Roost
    Cotton Guard
    Flamethrower

Between all the Dragons we were given in the new Pokedex, Altaria was the one for me. I don't know why, but this Dragon Bird seems to always force itself in my mind, somehow. I like the bulk it has in stall teams and the abilities given to it are wonderful for many sets. The moves I chose is an in-game kind of gimmicky set, where the desire to hit hard against your opponents is mixed by your desire to prolong your Pokemon's stay on the field. We start with a sure STAB move in Dragon Pulse, then move to the second assault with Flamethrower to handle Grass, Bugs, Steel, and Ice types. The other choices are a recovery option with Roost and a devastating defense boost in Cotton Guard. Some suggested Toxic over the last move but I'm not sure..

    Glaceon:
    Set:
    Water Pulse (Generation VI Trade)
    Ice Beam
Wish / Magic Coat / Baton Pass?
    Shadow Ball

When Eevee was announced as a certain addition to the new Unova Pokedex, I immediately thought of which Eeveelution I would want to get. My all favorite member of their clan would be Umbreon, however due to its poor Dream World ability and weak moves; I decided to overlook it. Sniff... I LOVE YOU UMBREON EVEN THOUGH GF REFUSES TO GIVE YOU A SEISMIC TOSS LIKE MOVE AND AN ABILITY THAT ABSORBS 60+ DAMAGE MOVES!!!

Ahem, Flareon... see Umbreon. Jolteon was a name suggested to me by some fellow fans, and he has a great back sprite unlike some of the other guys. Volt Switch was a good toy for the spiky fox. Espeon was also a great name that crossed my mind but I still needed someone I trusted and used before... that is why Glaceon!! The Snow Fox has a beautiful design and that lethal special power it has saved me more that I can remember in Platinum against Galactic.

    Jellicent:
    Set:
    Toxic
    Scald
    Recover
    Ice Beam

I love this guy! Water / Ghost is one of the best things that happened for this generation, and one of my long dreams for the franchise along with a bulky Bug / Water. Water Absorb as an obvious ability to nullify water types and get that needed healing along side of Recover. Scald is just wonderful with that secondary effect and you can imagine the heat of the water burning your opponent's Pokemon. Ice Beam is a great coverage move that can nail Dragons & Flying types.

    Other Options:

    Lucario:
    Set:
    Close Combat
    Bullet Punch
    Ice Punch
    Extremespeed

Seriously, I haven't been able to decide what do I want from Lucario. Physically he is capable of destroying the opposing teams, Specially he is limitless. I mean come on, having Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Aura Sphere, and Flash Cannon in one set? Or maybe ditch the last move for Metal Sound or Nasty Plot to wreck havoc!!!!

    Metagross:
    Set:
    Earthquake
    Bullet Punch
    Thunder Punch / Ice Punch
    Stealth Rock / Pursuit

The Supercomputer tank is always a great addition to any team, and I always trusted it in our adventures. Having him late in the game just kills the mood, if I chose to add him to the squad then it will be an early trade.

I'm using the same team I used in white. I replaced panpour with azurill because I like to mix things up and have plenty of variety in life.

It'll be different catching Don Juan last, but simple is worth the wait.

Lucy will actually be good this run.

Having him late in the game just kills the mood, if I chose to add him to the squad then it will be an early trade.
    your team looks great

for volcarona: what would help you the most? roost which heals or giga drain for the water and rock weaknesses and restores some hp (also i'm not sure does roost secondary effect of changing type work for volcarona? i don't know if it does)

Zoroark: i like the set you put on for the STAB, coverage as well as sharpening your attack and accuracy stats, but mainly i like the u turn which you can make use of your ability as well as use other tactics

serperior: for your last move what would help you the most dragon tail to keep switching your opponents pokemon as well as dealing damage, leech seed for slow damage as well as health gain per turn or outrage for the damage and coverage over dragon types.

altaria: i'd keep cotton guard due to toxic on your jellicent

glaceon: i think wish or magic coat would serve you better than baton pass

Jellicent: i like the move set you have

for the lucario and metagross it depends how you feel about your team

    but its a good team
