    Heracross is cool...

Heracross @ Toxic Orb/Flame Orb/Expert Belt (Guts boost or if you don't want to be taking damage)
Ability: Guts (Better than swarm, stops status, especially burn crippling you.)

    Megahorn
    Close Combat
    Rock Slide/Earthquake/Aerial Ace/Night Slash
    Rock Slide/Earthquake/Aerial Ace/Night Slash

    Only for Black 2.

I forgot Heracross was available! there's member number 6.

Now my friend also wants help apparently.

    he plans on using

    Snivy
    Riolu
    Larvitar (Dream World Ability)
    Gligar
    Magby
    Azurill

obviously water will give him trouble with 3 members weak to it, but 2 resist it so they could help even it out.

I assume DW ability Larvitar is to avoid Sandstorm damage on half the team?

yup he has a thing against passive damage ingame because it wears down the team and is especially harmful on long treks with no centers in site.

Plus Unnerve is pretty useful ingame, stops the Sitrus Berry most Gym Leaders keep on their Aces.

    Someone should try this out:

    Team Extinct!

    It'd be pretty epic!

Switch out either Archeops or Aerodactyl for Bastiodon. Both Archeops and Aerodactyl handle Rock and Flying so you could put in Bastiodon for the Steel coverage.

That's a pretty cool idea. I have been thinking of teams like that.
    I thought of:
Mythical- Lapras, Gyarados, Moltres, Zapdos, Charizard, Hydreigon, Rapidash, Ninetales, Abomasnow
Serpent- Milotic, Arbok, Dragonair, Serperior, Gyarados, Gorebyss/Huntail, Onix/Steelix
Dinosaurs- Lapras, Aerodactyl, Mamoswine, Tropius, Archeops, Rampardos, Bastiodon, (and other Fossil Pokemon)

Mamoswine's more of a mammoth than a dinosaur, because it's a mammoth but it's still kickass...

Yeah... maybe I should've called it 'Prehistoric' instead of 'Dinosaurs'? Either way, it's a pretty cool team. I think I might try some of these teams out when W2/B2 comes out.

I narrowed down my choices again, but I'm still having trouble getting a solid 6.

    Samurott (1st)
    Dunsparce (2nd)
    Weezing (2nd)
    Muk (3rd)
    Scrafty (3rd)
    Flygon (4th)
    Heracross (4th)
    Volcarona (6th)
    Drapion (7th)

I usually like to get most of my team before the 4th/5th gym, so I'm good in that regard, but I really want to use them all. I guess I could use reserves.

There's no point in Superpower when you have STAB EQ, not to mention Superpower drops Attack & Defense.

    Drapion
    -Night Slash/Crunch
    -Fire Fang/Cross Poison
    -EQ
    -Aqua Tail/Swords Dance

    Try this:

    Drapion @ Scope Lens
    Adamant/Jolly Nature, Sniper ability
    ~Cross Poison
    ~Night Slash
    ~Earthquake
    ~Ice Fang

Ice + Ground for coverage, while both STAB moves are high critical-hit ratio moves that combines well with Scope Lens and Sniper.

Not sure why you said "only for Black 2" if that set is available even in 3rd Gen (well, except the items and Night Slash), and people can just trade/transfer for one......
    Also, Facade >>>>>>>> Earthquake.

My shinies. Just click the links~

    ~Shiny Banner 1~
    ~Shiny Banner 2~

My shinies are not for trade or cloning.
Shinies are not listed in order, for example the last shiny on the banner is not always the latest shiny I've obtained.
Banner 1 made by Light Venusaur, thanks ^_^

I assumed most people were just playing through the game as a standalone.

Yeah. Drapion would make 3 Poison types, which is kind of excessive. I would probably choose Weezing over Muk though, based on availability.

Yeah, I would use Carracosta over Omastar and Bastiodon over Archeops any day. I'm not sure Mamoswine would fully count as prehistoric considering what it evolves from.

It's based off of a wooly mammoth, that's why people count it as prehistoric and the fact that some were found frozen solid in blocks of ice, indicating that they lived during an Ice Age.

Has anyone had any experience with Serperior? I am struggling making a move-set and I really want to pick this grass starter, what are your preferred tried and tested in-game movesets for serperior?

    So far I have two:

    Serperior:
    - Coil
    - Dragon Tail
    - Leaf Blade
    - Return

    Serperior (mixed)
    - Growth
    - Leech seed
    - Leaf blade
    - Leaf storm

Don't really know what to go for, I am not really going for coverage just a solid grass type move-set as my other in-game Pokemon will have much more varied movesets
    Much appreciated Serebros!

    @Dragoniteftw

I have not personally used Serperior but I know people who have, so I'll give you a common moveset:
    Serperior:
    -Coil
    -Dragon Tail
    -Aqua Tail
    -Leaf Blade

While Aqua Tail and Dragon Tail(I believe) are move tutor moves, they are worth it in the long run.
