after red and blue, why not give yellow a try too? as much as possible, i do not want to train legendary pokemon, trade with another game and only uses tm once (unless they can be bought)

Primeape needs Submission-Karate Chop is Normal.When you get Hyper Beam from the Game Corner,Replace Slash,Fly is a decent stab.
I suggest using Electrode,Magneton or Jolteon in place of Pikachu.Pikachu sucks.

i do know karate chop is normal. i do not need 2 fighting moves, so i select karate chop as it is increased critical.
and yes, i know pikachu sucks, but i just want to use it?

Personally, if you insis on using it without Surf and without evolving it, I'd put Double Team over Body Slam. At least that way you're giving it a chance to survive and freeing up a good move for a better pokemon.

You could consider Growth instead of Razor Leaf if you're going down the Double Edge/Mega Drain route. Mega Drain isn't exactly the most powerful move; 40 base power, the same as Scratch and you only get half the damage back as HP. At least if you can boost your special with Growth you can get more out of it. On the other hand, if you'd rather use Razor Leaf's higher attack and increased Crit, then use Body Slam instead of D-Edge and swap in Swords Dance over Drain.

You know there's no Move deleter in Yellow right? So if you've given it Fly, you're stuck with it, Hyper beam or not.
