While I'm no expert, isn't the PID RNG separate from the Mersenne Twister RNG? Meaning that if the gender and nature are the same after resetting, we can conclude that shininess will be as well?

Nature, IVs are different every time. I just tested it on a Combee (It was Male this time. Aww...) and one time it was Careful nature, and the 2nd time it was Docile Nature.

Victini had a Shiny Lock because of a script in the code where if it would be a Shiny, it'll calculate it again until it's not a Shiny.

Where did you reset? I've heard people saying that resetting doesn't work for Hidden Hollows.

I was asking about the RNGs more for the purposes of RNGing or SRing for a shiny, not shiny locks.

Resetting in front of the Pokemon changes stats and nature, however its gender is locked.

Yea, he also just made a code that regenerates 100% after 1 step. So far getting like 75% items lol

Just found a Female Moxie Pinsir in Lostlorn Forest Hidden Hollow. Heck yes!

EDIT: I thought Pinsir was exclusive to White 2? So does that mean that in Black 2, Pinsir is only in the Hidden Hollows while Heracross is in the Wild? And Vise-versa for White 2?

Apparently a Hollow has a 5% chance of regenerating an item/Pokemon every 256 steps. This is from bond697/mat.

5%? Darn, not very likely to regenerate is it. But I suppose it works out alright with the small amount of steps, although it'll probably be annoying ending up taking a lot more steps when it doesn't give you what you want.

I guess hidden hollow with pinsir is for B2 and heracross is for W2 since wild pinsir is in W2 and wild heracross in B2

Hidden Hollows looks awesome, not only do we get rare and awesome Pokemon like Dragonite with their hidden abilities but items like Rare Candy and evolutionary stones too! Awesome, I'm even more pumped for BW2! It seems like this will be where we get some of our non Unova Dex Pokemon besides trading and PokeTransfer.

What's the percentage of each Pokemon actually being there? Like 10% chance of being a Dragonite out of the available Pokemon for that hollow?

What Pokemon? Eevee's not on there because it has a chance of appearing instead of the normal Pokemon/items.

But that's the question. We know it can appear in a hidden hollow, but what constitutes Eevee having a chance of appearing "instead of the normal Pokemon/items" rather than it just being a regular Poke that can appear?

And poop, you'd think they'd figure this out already. xD
