1% chance of Dragonite appearing and only a 5% chance of a wild Dragonite holding a dragon scale. So yeah, damn lucky.

Now if only that luck would apply to certain pebbles with feet that refuse to hatch purple...

Does anyone know if seasons play a role in grottos? I saw somewhere that cubchu can only be in the grotto on route 7 during the winter. I know that it can only be caught during the winter normally on that route, but I just wanted to see if the same applied with grottos

I don't think that any hidden grottos are affected by seasons. Seasons aren't mentioned on Serebii's Hidden Grotto page, which has the listings for all the Pokemon and items inside:
    http://www.serebii.net/black2white2/hiddengrotto.shtml

Also, I'm pretty sure that I have seen Cubchoo in that grotto in seasons other than winter, but they are insanely rare and only have a 1% chance of appearing.

Seasons have nothing to do with Grottoes.

Is there any way to increase the likelihood of Pokemon appearing in the Hidden Grotto? I've only gotten mulch so far....

There are certain Pass Powers that increase the odds.

That require you to have friends with the opposite version.

I was on a roll with the hidden grottos today!

I caught Kingler, Manectric, Ammongus (The PokeBall fungus thing), Hariyama.

I was having bad luck today, getting mulch and Watchogs in all the grotto. Then in the last grotto I found a female dragonite!
I'm currently SRing with my adamant synchronizer. I just need to find that ditto now and I'll have all the really rare ones.

i just kinda don't bother with the grottos. they all seem to be empty whenever i bother to check up on them and i've only ever found one pokemon inside. though a swift swim bearctic would be pretty sweet.

I generally check them out once a day and after I hatch 8-10 eggs. There's a low probability that one will show up at a specific location so it just takes a lot of time and walking.

I've had no luck on the imposter ditto yet btw.

I keep finding Manectric in one of the Hidden grottos on route 3. I want to find a Pachirisu but I keep getting bad luck. I found a Dragonite in the Hidden grotto at route 18 though and that was pretty cool since their supposed to be really rare.

I found that same Dragonite, although I ran out of Pokeballs...

Do Dusk Balls consider Grottos caves?

I think the grottoes aren't considered caves because I saw the lighting change while I was Sring for an adamant Dragonite with good IVs. What I usually do is throw 2 quick balls, then spore/false swipe with my Breloom/Smeargle, then throw Utraballs/etc at them.

I'm still hunting for that ditto...

Just found a Corsola on Route 18's hidden grotto. I wanted to find Dragonite but I guess Corsola is good enough. I also found a Bagon at Pinwheel forest's hidden grotto. I'm on a roll right now.

I finally got an imposter ditto yesterday. It was the only hidden grotto Pokemon I was missing.
Since I'm still hatching lots of eggs I'll probably continue using the grottoes. I think the extra Pokemon will be good for trades in the future.

I believe it's Impostor Ditto or Multiscale Dragonite. However, those may just be the most sought after.

EDIT: In every HGrotto, there's a 1% chance of getting 1 Pokemon. So, all of them?
