There is something going on with Mewtwo, whether its just popularity or maybe a very slim chance of being in the film or cameo in the anime somehow.

If the cameo lasts for at least one minute i'll be satisfied.

Not that i wouldn't want to see this... it's just not likely to happen. With 5 genesect in a film (and at least one in an episode) and reshiram appearing it's not likely they will throw in a kanto legendary for no reason. They are trying to make a new version of the first movie, because it was the most successful.

If Charizard was brought back due to it being really popular, Mewtwo might have a chance but...I'd really love it if they did this though.

I'm getting the feeling if Mewtwo does appear, we'll just see it in the opening like the other Legendary Pokemon. And going on to that, I'm surprised that we haven't had one in the Kyurem movie. Whenever did we stop having them? I forgot. ._.

Since when did Team Rocket or Team Plasma become actual Pokémon that you can catch?

Also, it's obvious that the new Pokémon's going to be a Gen VI one. I don't see how it couldn't be.

The interesting thing is that many people have speculated that Mewtwo looks like he is in Castelia City at the end of the Mewtwo Returns special. Castelia City as we know is the very same place that TR vs TP was supposed to happen. Now we don't know if it will be retconned into another city but if it is, the city that the showdown is retconned into will most likely look like Castelia City but they will call it a different name. Genesect has been shown to be flying out of the city in the Episode N opening so maybe Mewtwo will show up in Castelia City or the retconned city.

So... it really does seem like Mewtwo will be in this movie? That's both awesome and a shame. I hope there will still be a 6th Gen Pkmn in it, though. Even if it just has Munchlax's role. :3

Interesting... Though I'm not sure how relevant the Mewtwo one is, seeing as there's also an Arceus one set to come out next month.

Until I see merchandise specifically denoted as for the movie having Mewtwo, I remain unconvinced.

Mewtwo is still nowhere to be seen on the movie merch set we know of, and as I've mentioned before looking back on past movies shows Mewtwo should have been revealed by now if it was going to play a part.

Not true at all, Zoroark and Keldeo were revealed in February.

This pic seems to have some anime relevance with Mewtwo so it seems likely that at the very least Mewtwo will appear in the anime.
