I watched the movies, I can say Mewtwo has a lot on them. Mewtwo would be able to deflect that meteorite that took out Arceus and would send all those electric back to the users. Mewtwo is the strongest, like it or not.

No.. Arceus was pretty much invincible because it had the plates and it kept on changing its type.

While I can see Team Plasma featuring in this movie, I don't see why it's necessary to force both factions into the story. That doesn't really seem like it'd turn out well.

My prediction for the film..

-The main antagonist of the film is Team Plasma and they're using Genesect to capture Jirachi..just a random guess.
-The star of the movie is a Gen VI Pokemon which is an ambassador of some sort.. it teams up with Ash and Co to help free Genesect and save Jirachi. He says that his friend told him that Pokemon and Humans should live in harmony before leaving on some type of voyage. The Pokemon's friend would be N and he would appear in a flashback scene..the Pokemon would want to carry out N's goal.
-Ash and Co would head to the Movie only Town to participate in some kind of tournament.
-The actual main antagonist would be a anime only Team Plasma member like Brody.
-Genesect would be freed by the end of the movie and Jirachi would go back to sleep.. Rayquaza would also make a cameo to save the day.
-We'd see at least one other Gen VI Pokemon some kind of novelty Pokemon or the pre evolution of the poster boy.. we'd also see Genesect's original form.

I could see this happening, but we don't need Jirachi to appear in the movie.
Maybe Genesect will meet his orginal form, which is the first Generation VI Pokemon and they will fight.

Or Genesect will hunt the new Lucario/Zoroark Pokemon.
I'm sure there will be two or three new Generation VI Pokemon in this movie.
New preevolutions are likely to appear, because we didn't get one last generation and they are a good choice to promote movie merchandise for example.
Team Plasma is not really necessary, but i would be cool to see them in the movie.

If writers wrote Team Plasma out of the anime to be the main Villain team in this movie then I guess I could forgive them.

Let's wait till a teaser comes out.

It's probably at the very end of November we start getting stuff, whether it's movie merchandise or an update on the movie website, so it won't be that long now. Atleast we will get a small hint of what other Pokémon other than Genesect appear (although it won't be the other star of the movie yet)

I just hope there'll be a 6th Gen Pkmn in this movie. Since they have no more Legendary 5th Gen to use (unless they use the Kamis, which I doubt), they kinda need a new one. Don't think the'll only use an Old Legendary to promote.

For some reason, I think they may use Rayquaza. I don't have much to go on with, but it's just a hunch.

Indeed. I'm sure there will be at least one completely new one. Whenever that will be a legendary, or just one like what Munchlax did, I don't know.

It may be a Pokemon like Munchlax, just appearing out of nowhere. Or like Donphan, to battle against Ash in the beginning of the movie.

Surprised that in Japan and in US they have the Genesect event before the movie's name was confirmed. I wonder if they are planning something more with Genesect when this comes out... (Like a special genesect with special moves) Also, Genesect doesn't really seem to be that "big, scary" type like the other pokemon in movies are. I wonder if he will be the good guy?

I'll admit that I expected more news about this movie when we learned about the Genesect Wi-Fi distribution. But I guess the movie is still scheduled for release in July. I think it's safe to say that Genesect won't be the main character; we'll probably get a brand-new Pokemon à la Lugia, Latios/Latias, Lucario, Manaphy, Zoroark, etc.

I expect the same of both of you. ^^ I mean, I personally think it's pretty obvious that a brand new Pkmn will be in the movie. I mean, people already have Genesect, and unless the'll reveal it's second form (Pre-Plasmad form), they kinda have to reveal a new one. A Genesect with some cool mover or an older Pkmn won't get people that excited.

unleashed the new form is also a new pokemon. For example a gen 6 fossil pokemon is what genosect was before plasma got involved

Genesect vs. Mewtwo would be the most awesome thing ever. I would really like to see that. Two competent, strong as hell pokemon duking it out.
