I wanted some Constructive Criticism on my sprites. It's a shame the Spriter's Forum has been dead lately...








These are some Kanto Gym Leader redesigns I made...

Not bad sprites at all!

You've definitely got some talent in that wrist of yours, but I can't help but notice a few things that make them non-genuine-looking. I think it has to do with the shading, or more specifically, the colors.

The colors you use to create shading on a sprite seem to not differ enough from each other,, and you can especially see this in sprites like the re-designed female Rocket grunt sprite, Misty, and Erika. Basically saying, the colors are too close to each other, so it looks like the clothing was just shaped and filled in with one color. It has no depth to it.

Thank you for the advice! I will fix them as soon as I can, but I am a bit busy so it may take a little while.
