Whatever the pronunciation is, it's a great insult to dyslexia.

If you're talking about the name being a palindrome, so is Girafarig. :/

"Arceus" apparently has two or three different pronunciations, and they are all relatively correct.

    "Ar-see-us"

    "Ar-kee-us"

    "Ar-say-us"

Or, you could go the extra mile and romanize it into "Ar-kai-us" or something relatively close to that, but I don't know any living human who would do that.

Creating sentience is simple. Accepting it, however, is harder than it looks.

AR-see-us is one of the phonetically correct ways to pronounce it.
AR-kee-us is another one, and is how most VA's pronounce it.
AR-say-us is also generally accepted, due to the way the "e" works in the word. This is similar to the second "e" in "Keldeo".

R-K-9 (or Are-Kay-Nine) makes more sense to me since a canine = a dog, which very obvious what Arcanine is.

Yeah, but that'd be mel-LAW-dic, not my-LAW-tic. But to be honest, I don't think that'd be the most correct, either.

My-law-tic actually doesn't seem intuitive to me at all. And I've always said mill-oh-tek

I find it hard to say what's phonetically correct (unless I'm misunderstanding the word) because word/letters that seem like they would sound the same are completely different.
I'm looking for a Serperior named Serpedera. It'll be at lvl 98 or above. If you happen to have such a pokemon please PM me.

I pronounce Phione as Fee-own. I'm not sure if that's right, but it sure makes more sense than Fee-own-ay.
even if we don't understand each other, that's not a reason to reject each other. There are two sides to any argument. Is there one point of view that has all the answers? Give it some thought.
^ This is the reason why I like arguing. If I come off as standoffish or overly angry in an argument, don't worry. I'm probably having the time of my life. Whether I agree with them or not, the pokemon fandom has a lot of different opinions, and I love how nobody is afraid to share them.

I get confused with some of the 5th Gen names like:

    Deino- dee-no
    Zweilous- swel-us
    Hydreigon- hi-dra-gon
    Braviary- brah-vee-air-ee

The only one i'm 100% sure of is Deino. The rest? Meh . . .

For the Deino Line, you need to know some German to pronounce it correctly

for Deino, It's a mixture of Dino and the German word for 1, Ein, but pronounced the same as Dino.

Zweilous is a little tricky, but it's zwhy-LUS, well, I can't phonetically space it out, but that's roughly how I say it.

Hydregion. hi-DRAY-gen. I good trick would be memorizing the Phrase "Hi Drayden." then change the den to gen.

Braviary, I always pronounce it Brave-are-ee,

    Also, I've pronounced Alomomola as

    Aloe-mo-mo-La.

I say Pokemon names with a slighy accent. I dunno why, I've always had. I say them fast, like I say Bra-var-ee foe Braivary. I satly Zweilous as Zwell-ose, and Deino and Dyen-oh.

The Aloe is under stress for me.

So AL-o-mo-mo-la? Seems weird if you ask me, but whatever lights your candle.

As for Latios, it's LAW-tee-ose (as in "dose"), not LAW-tee-ous (as in vicious).

I meant the ose one.I suck at Phonetic typing.Though the latter was used as Latias' PBR pronounciation...
