The storyline and graphics in DW were by far the best, but HGSS just seems to be my favourite.

Definitely HG/SS. Even the box was good! I don't like how the mart was mixed in with the center for B/W, and how using the touch screen, you had to bring the Pokemon to the right, and then the left again just to move it in that box.

Haven't seen the B2W2 Interface yet, so it's between DPPt, HGSS & BW for me.

Easily HGSS. The touchscreen features were so convenient. With DPPt's Pokétch & BW's C-Gear, I wish it was kind of like in HGSS. In HGSS, you clicked a button to open up the Pokégear. Maybe they could have done that with the Pokétch & BW.

Hopefully HGSS's interface returns (and stays) for future Pokémon games.

I would have to say BWB2W2 for me with Pt and HGSS coming in as close seconds. BWB2W2 have a much better touch-screen/D-pad mix while Platinum's menus and such were nice as were the running shoes in HGSS...

    HG/SS Hands-down

I remember the Black 2 interface, horrible. Mixing repels and poke balls and items today, pain in the BUTT. And it's hard to read it while it's skimming through.

    Plus, one press? Amazing.

    D/P/Pt.
The Pokewatch thingydoo came in very handy when EV training, trying to catch shinies etc. But I do like B/W where you get the clock all the time, it bugs me when I don't know what time it is. </3

Why is this in 4th gen post when it can be posted in Pokepolls?

I only have diamond for 4th gen and stick with it. I have no fav for any Pokemon games.

HG/SS interface is the worst for me.
Only being able to see six items at once in the bag?
Pain in the rear to reorganise items.

B2/W2 interface all the way, item organisation is just a click away.

For me, I really like HG/SS menu system with D/P/Pt close behind. Personally a mix of the two would have been perfect as D/P/Pt had better use of the bottom screen.

I'll go with HeartGold/SoulSilver. The Poketch was okay for me, and I really wasn't that fond of B/W's interface.

BW/BW2 everything is so sped up in that game. I mean EVERYTHING.

Although HG-SS had the best design IMO

I know nothing about BW2, since I haven't watched any walkthroughs or anything. So I chose BW.

BW did improve it in some ways (such as being able to exit out of the menu easily due to the red X), but I did like having the menu always available on the bottom screen in HGSS.

I liked the availability of the hg/ss interface. I never even touched my Poketch or Cgear.

And so a new journey begins...

even if we don't understand each other, that's not a reason to reject each other. There are two sides to any argument. Is there one point of view that has all the answers? Give it some thought.

im okay with that. you can re-organize your bag--they will be in the end.and you can scroll down
in dppt you will have to go through all your items in the bag to get to the bottom
