Which of the Pokemon DS games interface did you like best?

DPPt, HGSS was too much "TOUCH ME!" when it wasn't really required.

Why's B/W and B/W2 here? This is the 4th Gen. forum.

I prefer Platinum's interface over all the other 4th gen. DS titles. The moment where you enter Giratina's world unleashes a whole new momentum in the game.

I like the interface on HeartGold/SoulSilver but Diamond and Pearl interfaces for battling is pretty sick as you can bash the buttons real quick

My answer is a mix of 2 interfaces. Black 2 / White 2 has the best battle interface as well as bag organization and Pokedex set-up.

However, Heart Gold and Soul Silver have the best main menu, being able to reach everything by stylus anytime you need.

If they mixed these two styles, my life would be fulfilled.

BW2 and Platinum for me. You got to do so much more stuff in those games and never get bored playing them.

Platinum is still my all time favorite Pokemon game. My username says it all. HGSS was a close second though. BW is good but my main beef with it is after the main plot is over there is little to do afterwords and I get bored. Haven't played BW2 and until I physically play it I won't count it.

HGSS wins for me. The touch screen interface makes it easier and the menu always being down on the bottom screen makes access things faster. I really like the design of it too as well.

I gotta go with HGSS, I thought it was awesome how you could just use the touch screen for most things. Start menu, bag, team, pc, running shoes and even a substitute for the A button... at the time it was so innovative for the games. I also like the chimes and little sounds the menus used in them too.

I picked B2/W2 because like everyone is saying, the game runs very smoothly and everything is faster. Before the release of these games, I would have picked Black and White for similar reasons (in comparison to Gen IV).

Definitely HG/SS...I can't believe they ever changed it. It was so simple to use, really utilized the touch screen well, and I loved being able to touch instead of pressing A. It has been so difficult for me to get used to B/W/B2/W2's interface, it just feels clunky. And don't get me started on the bag system....HG/SS perfected that, 5th Gen's bag system is a behemoth and Game Freak ought to be ashamed.

I really enjoy the HG/SS interface out of all of them. It's very convenient, and that's what matters most to me. But I could've sworn the D/P interface was the best when I first played the games. I was foolish to think that pressing buttons was the way to go; it's all about the touch screen now.

I like the BW2 interface, but the HGSS was really useful as well

Wish the C-Gear had more functions when the Wireless is off.

BW and B2W2 got the best interfaces. From they two, I voted on B2W2.

Their interfaces allowed to have more than one item registered and sort them in alfabetical order.

HG/SS is indeed more cute, but BW/B2W2 can be cute and useful in innovating.
