I hatched a shiny Cyndaquil yesterday!

The IV's came out to be 31/8/30/30/16/16 with a Modest nature.
This is so much better than the one I got by SR!

I was hoping to use it in PWT/Battle Subway, with a Sunny day moveset because it's hidden power isn't too good. Anyone have any ideas of a moveset for it?

Eeek! After 5558 soft resets a shiny Cobalion appeared in my UK Black tonight! n__n

I've been hunting shiny Cobalion on and off for ages now, but being put off from my hunt by having to exit and then re-enter the cave every day when I wanted to collect my items from the Dream World (so in turn I've done the bulk of my SR when the Dream World has been down for maintenance ^^; ).

I've been trying to do 100 SR at a time, and yesterday I only did 50. So tonight I though, I might as well wake my Dream World Pokemon up now and do another 50 SR while I'm at, just to get me to 5600 - but then the shiny appeared on the 8th SR!

I was determined not to use my master ball on it; I've been collecting various balls from the Dream World for months now (I have over 100 heal, net, quick, dive and nest balls; over 200 dusk and timer balls, and almost 400 repeat balls XD ). So I was ready - ready for an incredibly long struggle to catch this lovely shiny... and I caught it in the first dusk ball. O.o

... Fine by me! And my synchroniser worked, so it's jolly natured. ^_^

Cobalion - #638 (Jolly)
HP: 4 - 6
Att: 25 - 27
Def: 10
SpA: 29
SpD: 21
Speed: 30

The only thing that could of made it better is if its 29 in Sp.att was in its HP or Def instead.

I just encountered my second RE shiny in B2 a wild Boldore in clay tunnel while searching for a magnet pull Nosepass for easier hunting for steel types. This is just 14 days after my shiny RE Audino in Castelia park. Both were Caught without a shiny charm!! Boldore was level 54 one level off knowing explosion!! A good tip for those with 2 GEN 5 games is to trade a master ball to the other game you just started after you get the C-GEAR.

Hello everybody! I am new to the forums. I was looking for easy ways to find pokemon white starters. I tried and it is SLOW WORK! I probably do about 50 SR's in one day. So, if anyone has quick ways to find shiny starters, please tell me. Thank you!

Currently trying to MM for a Shiny Magikarp (only because they're the fastest Pokemon to hatch)

Funnily enough, one of the parents is the Red Gyrados from Lake of Rage!

Well, if your heart isn't set on getting the starter shiny at the beginning of the game, it would be faster to MM for it. Using international parents reduces the odds of finding a shiny from 1/8192 to ~1/2000 and if you can get the shiny charm the odds become ~1/1000 (my numbers are horribly off I know, but I don't MM so I don't know the exact ratio, but I'm sure it won't take someone long to correct me). If you really want to SR for your starter though, there really isn't anything you can do to speed the process alone any I'm afraid.

Only one of them, but as long as they are from games with different languages, it will work. You can have one English and one Japanese Pokemon, or one French and one Japanese, both works.

you can use one of your own pokemon. the two parents just need to be from different countries.
(different countries from each other, not from your game)

yeah, if you're using a japanese game you'd need to import a non-japanese mate for your pokemon

Um, you're doing it right. If you're breeding a pokemon you caught in game with a Japanese Ditto then it should work.. Unless you're playing on a JPN game.

first shiny i white picked up the game afte a few months and about ten minutes of hunting a pidove not the blitzle but still its a shiny

I keep having a shiny drought, wish my luck would go up crazy like you guys and I wish I could have the same luck I had with ky shiny modest XD zubat, no luck anywhere else since my shiny crappy IV roselia 31 attack and 15 in sp.atk and its modest -_-, hope my luck will pick up today

Holy mother of mew! Ok so, as you guys know I lost my Black game and with it the Shiny Blitzle that I got from aorund 2,500 RE's on route 3 which I evolved. So I decided to reclaim on White and about 10 minutes ago I found...Shiny Pidove after 2,456 Random Encounters.

While I'm disappointed that it wasn't Blitzle, I actually quite like shiny Pidove(I won't be evolving him). Here's his IV's:
HP:9-16 Attack:15-31 Defense:9-16 Special Attack 3-11 Special Defense; 24-31 Speed:23-30. Not too bad then. I would have been happier with Blitzle however I'm actually quite happy as I quite love Pidove's shiny sprite. I've still got static Manectric up front as I'm continuing the RE hunt for Blitzle on Route 3. PigeonBoy the shiny Pidove is in the second slot so if I get a double encounter I'll defeat the pokemon for exp. Hopefully I'll actually get Blitzle this time..I feel like my game wanted too reward me after me three hour politics and law exam today. ^_^

Wow everyone is having good luck, I'm speechless, I wish I could MM a shiny on white 2 of find a wild shiny but I haven't seen a shiny in my white 2 since the day before I got the shiny charm
