So if a Blaziken was against an Abomasnow and the Abomasnow used Rebellion targeting the Blaziken, the Abomasnow would become Fire/Fighting and the Blaziken would become Grass/Ice?

At that rate, why not just make it a type switch that isn't restricted to super-effective moves? But then it wouldn't really fit the name, I guess.

How about an item that replicates the effects of Magic Guard? It'd certainly make stallbreaking easier, and is helpful to pokemon like Slowbro (which between Regenerator and Slack Off, can afford to forgo Leftovers). It also provides an escape route for pokemon highly vulnerable to Stealth Rock and other hazards like Volcarona. It will also become a preferred option to Leftovers for pokemon wanting to nullify weather.

We'll call it Magic Shield or something.

    New move: Fireball
    Type: Fire
    Power: 25
    Special
    PP: 15
    Priority: 0

The user shoots flame balls at the opponent. It hits 2-5 times.

IIRC their aren't any Special Multi-hitting moves yet so why not this?

That sounds like it would be a pretty cool move

    Ricochet

The guy who posted before his alias is giving me some ideas. I doubt it would be a good idea but nonetheless, an entry hazard that randomly turns one of the foe's moves to Sketch for the rest of the battle (an exclusive to Smeargle, effects all Pokemon bar Smeargle, only effects those who don't know the move Sketch).

Would it only trigger once per turn, once per Magic Shield-able event, or once per switch-out? I'm assuming once per Magic Shield-able event, since you say that it replicates the effect of Magic Guard, but just making sure. Regardless, I think it's a really good item to the point where it's viable to make opponents think twice about using those kinds of moves. Neat!

Well-designed and solid. And if there really are no special multi-hitting moves, this would be the first, yup.

Since it's a ricochet, would it hit each Pokémon once in a double battle? Since you hit and bounce off one thing, hit and bounce off another, hit and bounce off a third, etc. in a ricochet? Great move.

Does the random-move-change effect wear off if the Pokémon switches (common sense says it would, but I don't know)? While I can't deny that the concept seems interesting, I can't see it actually function in the game.

Its OK Wishing Star, at least it wasn't like the last 2 pages^^

    New move: Wing Smash
    Type: Fighting
    Power: 95
    Accuracy: 100
    PP: 20
    Priority: 0
    Physical

The user hits the foe with brute force from its wings. It may make the opponent flinch.

In the same way that Steel Wing is Steel-type but the Pokémon needs wings to use it, this is a Fighting-type that requires wings to use. Hmm.

95 power, 100 accuracy moves that have a chance to do something are typically 15 PP, and this should be no exception. Other than that, very well-designed, I have to say. (:

This would be great for certain birds like Swellow and Pidgeot.

I was wondering if Eviolite was nerfed down to raising defense by only 25%, how would user's of it still benefit from it if it had that nerf?

Nobody likes the Wound move that I came up with? ):

    Wound
    Type: Poison / Power: 55 / Accuracy: 100 / PP: 15 / Target: Single adjacent Pokémon / Category: Physical / Priority: 0 (Contact: Yes)
"The Pokémon wounds the target, damaging it and lowering its maximum HP up to half of its usual value."

    ability:

optical camo (been playing too much xbox xD)
if the user does not attack and does not take damage, the pokemon's evasion is raised 4 (3?) stages until it attacks or takes damage.

It kinda screams broken to me. The requirements "not attacking and not being hit" still can't equalize the ability's reward.

Ouch... that's like Moody in that you could have a Pokémon that just sets up and hope you get lucky and have the foe constantly miss.

I'd actually change it to a 50% boost if it's the 1st form of a family, and 25% if it's the second stage (but still capable of evolution).

    Don't feel like quoting:

@Wishing Star- kinda like a Poison Endeavor, looks nice.

    @Ghosts of the Forums- lol

    New move: Bully
    Type: Dark
    Accuracy: 100
    Priority: 0
    PP: 10

The user taunts at the foe, making it only use Non-attacking moves. You can't stack it with Taunt.

Why? cuz it screws up Choiced Pokemon.

It doesn't even equate current HP values, it directly damages the target's max HP. o_o

I could see this in the game (though with a different name, but that's besides the point). Seems neat. (:

Well yes, I give Bully to Whimsicott as he is the fastest Priority user to "Bully" Choiced Pokemon and Life Orb users.

Eh, whether or not it's broken has no relation to whether or not people will try to take advantage of the luck that evasion is inherently relied on. :/

Sand Veil is +1 evasion, and it's still the suspect of a possible ban because people are trying to abuse the miss.

I think plus 1 would be better,

@MetalFlygon08 that would be interesting with Eviolite, LC Pokemon could be better cuz of that.

Both are fine. Residual damage is usual based on 1/16. In a way, I could see Eviolite being a counterpart to Life Orb, but the fact that Eviolite is only used for evolvable Pokémon and Life Orb can be used for any Pokémon makes me think that the residual damage should still be based on 1/16 the same way poison and burn do.

Stealth Rock: Takes 10% damage regardless of type
That'd sort of defeat the purpose of the move being Rock-type. :/

Drill Peck: B.P increased to 95
    Fine.

    Subsitute: +2 Priority
While it doesn't really seem that broken at first glance, something about this just doesn't seem right. :/
