no it just means that im officially ready! i was originally a challenger but i didnt have wifi. but now i am, and all i have to do is wait for a gym leader to challenge although you have to seek out the gym leaders. but they may deny you if they want to.

You can challenge them in any order and you just have to VM them to schedule a battle.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.....and I know it's not the easiest thing to do since there's no link to their pages on the OP. But that's how I did it.

This league needs some cleaning up.
