Oshawott's comic relief personality is what sells the merchandise :P

It would actually be very easy to make that into comic relief. Have one of the pokemon, (say Scraggy or Axew?) walk up and disturb dewott in some way (Headbutting, poking, and being annoying in general.) Dewott stand up, turns to them, and then starts screaming at them with a giant anime-style head. Scraggy/Axew runs away with Dewott chasing them, shaking a scalchop at them.

If they let Dewott get angry in the same amusing fashion Oshawott did, and it just happened more often, he could still be comic relief.

Or, (someone mentioned this awhile back) they could make him a heart throb with all the female pokemon, (Buneary, Emolga, CotD pokemon, etc.) With Dewott just ignoring them all, or raging all over them because their disturbing him.

I saw that one as pretty likely since Oshawott keep falling in love with various pokemon, the tables would turn after evolution. It's fresh and will be a site to see imo.

Pikachu- No comment.
Unfezant- Done
Samurott- Haters gonna hate.
Pignite- When I really think about it, him evolving and winning against Suwama was closure to his story and finished his development. Of course, he could still evolve into Emboar...
Servine- Snivy vs Serperior would look stupid.
Scraggy- Seems to depend on Axew for evolution so when Axew evolves, he'll evolve.
Boldore- Doubt it'll evolve but Trip's Gurdurr found a way to evolve so we'll see.
Leavanny- Done
Palpitoad- I see most likely staying as is and getting a 4th move, if it does evolve, I'm not complaining.
Krookodile- Done.

The Kami Trio=Kami Trio plot that was hinted with previous merchandise containing Rayquazza. Can see Team Rocket trying to steal them.
Rhydon+Onix+Golem=Possible pokemon of Giovanni, as well as further hint to Team Rocket Plot
Corpish+Buizel=Possibly Ash's, or Marlon's as reserves/background pokemon, similar to Pike Queen Lucy's Cyndaquil and Snorlax.

if there's a water tournament ash would probably just use oshawott and palpitoad. personally I never thought ashs Corphish would cone back, why it and not any of the others. there probably just marlons

Fixed. Whilst I'd like the idea of Dewott having a more mature personality similar to Charmeleon and Grovyle, I just can't see it happening right now. If there really is a filler saga, that will be the time where I join in on everyone wanting Oshawott to evolve, since the main marketing at that time will likely be the ruby and sapphire remakes or a 5th gen spinoff series.

Only disagreements are Scraggy not evolving and Snivy evolving, as well as Meganium and a Lucario in this saga, but other than that, agree with the rest.

That's a lot of requests for Dragonite and it's three moves are already decent. Excadrill most likely won't learn earthquake and agree with rest of predictions.

Agree with Roserade, if Iris is getting 5 pokemon then Cilan most likely would, but I'm not entirely sure on Eevee. It could happen, but again I'm just not sure.

I can't see Servine happening or Emboar learning Blast Burn, Gigalith's evolution would be tricky to do unless it was entirely random, already spoke about Lucario and Espeon would be tricky. Can not see Meleotta joining Ash and Gible evolving is fairly likely I guess. Also cannot see that much happening for Bayleef in all honesty.

Iris with a Hydreigon and Haxorus would be overkill imo, and for the league, I doubt Axew would even be a Fraxure. Like her having Treecko but I doubt it would be from Sceptile and a possible Meganium.

Comments in bold, I don't think the league is that far away in all honesty and that we'll probably begin to see it around late November. Also, there will probably be a filler saga this time around to fully advertise B2W2 and possible ruby and sapphire remakes.

That Wailord is definitely Marlon's. I can just feel it. That Corphish is most likely wild or someone else's; I honestly can't see Ash bringing back his Corphish for no good reason. Same goes for Buizel. The Golem and Rhydon are interesting, though. I hope they belong to Giovanni, but I'm not getting my hopes up. And truck me, another Onix?!

Like the idea, plus including the Unova pokemon, Ash presently has 7 Water types which means that if Ash's isn't able to call Squritle (since its not in the Oak's lab), Ash can still have 6 Water types.

Maybe Ash gets challenged by Marlon to a full on 6 Vs 6 Water type only battle.

Also as far as i remember we haven't had that many official same type only battles in the series (the only one i remember is that battle against Rudy during the Orange Island Arc)

with all the talk of older gen pokemon, assuming Riolu and Eevee aren't caught by Ash, i'd prefer another third generation pokemon, the one region where he only caught five pokemon, less than any other region to date not counting the filler arcs.

The Beldum line would be my preference. I kept predicting it a while back, but gave up hope.. It evolves to Metang during a battle where it gets beaten up badly because Take Down "just doesn't cut it anymore". Then it stays in that form, knowing Confusion, Take Down, Bullet Punch and Iron Defense.

I'd rather see that than Eevee, anyday.. or if all else fails, give him both and either evolve Eevee into Flareon, or wait until a new evolution is revealed for Gen 6 and let it tag along, ala Aipom.

I don't understand. Why would you want Corphish and Buizel to return? You're the one who constantly talks about how Oshawott has to evolve in order for him to amount to anything; how would that happen if two other Water-types arrive to take development from him? Not to mention the fact that we've already witnessed a water tournament.

how would Corphish and Buizel returning temporarily take development from the otter. Maybe mr Oshawott evolves against Marlon's final pokemon. We've seen a grass type tournament too whats ur point

Here's what I want:

-Marlon had Wailord, and Ash brings back Corphish and Buizel for a Water-type battle with Marlon. Something along those lines.
-Cilan catches a Roserade.
-Giovanni has a fierce battle using Rhydon, Onix, and Golem. Team Rocket get the Therian Formes.
-Piplup and Pikachu are obviously Dawn and Ash's.
