Swords Dance > Iron Head on Garchomp. Steel is a terrible type offensively since it only hits Rock and Ice for super effective damage; both of which are covered by Earthquake and Stone Edge already. You can also opt for Fire Fang if you're paranoid about Levitating Bronzong, but SD will make Chomp unstoppable.

    Kabutops
    Jolly | Battle Armor
    • Waterfall
    • Stone Edge / Rock Slide
    • Night Slash
    • Superpower

I've never worked with Kabutops before, but this seems like it could work. You can also go with Return and Swords Dance if you want.

    Gengar
    Timid | Levitate
    • Shadow Ball
    • Sludge Bomb / Energy Ball
    • Thunderbolt
    • Focus Blast

Scrap Curse, it's going to hurt you more than it helps. Gengar doesn't seem to fit with the rest of your team though, since Forretress has Sandstorm. idk.

I would suggest Fire Blast > Flare Blitz on Rapidash seeing that your team seems to lack special offenses.

Well, I've got an interesting strategy associated with Gengar anyway. o: But why is Swords Dance so important? A sweeper could be killed in the time it' be using to cast it. o:

    I'd go with this:

    Kabutops @Leftovers
    ] Adamant l Battle Armor [
    • Aqua Jet
    • Waterfall
    • Swords Dance
    • Rock Slide

Aqua Jet is quite nice for priority and as a STA , while Waterfall / Rock Slide are more powerful STAB's.

On Garchomp Swords Dance > Iron Head and Rock Slide > Stone Edge for accuracy.

The idea is to set up on something that won't kill you quickly with a swords dance. Set up on something that can't hurt you than dominate the rest of the match with physical moves. You might also want Rest/Recover > Counter on Foretress. There's no need for two attacking moves if a pokemon is based more on defense. And believe me when I say use SD > Iron Head on Garchomp you will be happier when you face tough Defensive pokemon.

imo Garchomp and Kabutops aren't really that frail; they can take a hit or two to use SD, provided you don't send them out against something they're x4 weak against.

Wouldn't Jolly be a better nature, since you're boosting your Attack with SD anyway?

I was informed that good suggestions for items would be:
Forretress @ (Sandstorm prolonging item, unsure of the accurate name)
    Gengar @ Bigroot
    and Rapidash @ Charcoal

Can someone confirm how good this would be for my team?

Smooth Rock, yeah. That would be a good item for Forretress if you don't plan on sending Gengar or Rapidash out anytime soon. It would definitely help Kabutop's Special Defense as well.

What moves are you going with Gengar? If you're going with Giga Drain it could work, but I'd rather use Wise Glasses or Expert Belt.

Same with Rapidash. Charcoal only boosts Fire-type moves. Muscle Band would boost all physical moves, even though by a slightly lesser amount. If you're still using Rest on him, slap a Chesto Berry instead.

Alternatively, you can go with Life Orb on any of the frailer Pokemon to boost their attacking moves if you don't mind the recoil.

I still need to know what to do for my
    -Registeel
    --Ability: Clear Body
    --Nature: Careful

    ---Explosion
    ---Hammer Arm
    ---Rest
    ---Toxic

    Registeel @Leftovers
    ]Sassy l Clear Body[
    ]252 HP l 178 Sp.Def. l 74 Def.[
    • Curse
    • Iron Head
    • Explosion / Substitute
    • Substitute / Toxic

With Curse and it's already above-average Defense , you won't need Careful. Curse is to set up , while Iron Head is STAB. Explosion is for a quoick exit , and you can use Toxic for stalling.

Can someone please explain to me when STA and STAB is? It'd be a key point in my deciding about my team.

STAB stands for Same Type Attack Bonus. Basically, when you use a move of the same type as your Pokemon it's power is boosted slightly.

Yeah. And STAB is Same Type Attack Boost. Whenever, say, a fire type uses a fire type move, the moves power gets a 50% boost. So 120 Base Power would become 180 BP.

    Anyway.
I agree with the Kabutops set Logan posted, but with Jolly Nature
Also, I vote for SD chomp.

EDIT: Grr Snorlax, don't go posting while I'm away a bit...

    Rapidash
    Item Life Orb
    Nature Adamant/Jolly
    Ability Flash Fire
    Move Set
    Flare Blitz
    Return
    Megahorn
    Iron Tail
Flare Blitz for a good STAB move for Rapidash
Return for a lot of neutral coverage
Megahorn give some coverage, also it has high base power
Iron Tail give a bit of coverage.

A Mixed set with Flamethrower / Megahorn / Return / Poison Jab is good.

I would go with Iron Miss > Poison Jab, since it allows Dash to hit Rock types as well with the set. Poison Jab would be outclassed by Flamethrower every time, since it gets STAB, and part Waters like Ludicolo gets jabbed with Megahorn harder.

And maybe consider Fire Blast > Flamethrower since Dash's SAtk is a bit low, if the low PP isn't a problem.

The exact reason I don't like Iron Miss is it has 75 accuracy , which ingame isn't very great. I vote for Flamethrower , though.
