I dressed up as Black/Hilbert for Halloween once. And almost every day since then, I've worn the jacket...

Nope but I have cosplayed as Red. As for your own trainer I say just grab some hip looking clothes, a backpack, a toy Pokéball, and you're set to got. A shame the 3D Pokédex Pro can't snap over higher resolution photos and just stretch the images of the Pokémon.

I think the closest I've ever gotten to cosplaying was when I was little and played pretend Pokemon with my cousins. We never used our real names and when we started playing pretend Pokemon we used the anime characters. My youngest cousin used to pretend to be Max... He still uses that name on the actual games.

But I'd never go out and actually full out cosplay Pokemon characters. I'm way too self conscious for that...

Ah, really? I've seen some great Pokémon furries from BechnoKid on DeviantArt. Speaking of which, my friend crossplayed (crossdressing and cosplaying at the same time) as a Venusaur.

Ugh...I remembered when I was 7, I got my baseball cap, some sweatbands, my thick winter vest, my hoodie, my shorts, and my toy Pokéball. Thinking I looked all cool and mighty, I went to show my mother and she straight up told me how hideous my fashion sense was.

Her costume lacked a seed in the flower (she's not a following fan and remembers how it was enjoyable while growing up). This is nerdiness at it's finest, people.
