    Me: Imma get me a Riolu! *goes to Floccessy Ranch*
    *15 minutes of searching for Riolu later...*
    Game: A Wild Riolu Appeared!
    Me: Hell yeah! Go, Mareep!
    Game: Mareep used Thunder Wave! The wild Riolu is paralyzed! It might not be able to move! The wild Riolu used Counter! But it failed!
    Me: Okay, so it knows Counter. Let's use a Special move...
    Game: Mareep used ThunderShock! A critical hit! The wild Riolu fainted!
    Me: *sighs* Not this time, I guess.

    45 minutes later, I still haven't found another one. *headdesk*

    In Black 2, Latios ran into me and I had to battle it. I didn't even have my Espeon in the first slot to make Latios Modest. What makes it worst is, I didn't save in a long time. (-_-)

    In Gen 4, I was battling Azelf, and it got up to +6 through Nasty Plot. It happened twice as well.

    Anytime I play through any of R/S/E, I can spend as long as 45 minutes searching for a Ralts or a Skitty and find neither, and yet the one playthrough where I specifically don't want either--I encounter them BOTH within 5 minutes of going into their respective grassy patches.
