I always wondered how she hasn't recognised his avatar looked exactly like himself, but I suppose with custom avatars and all it's understandable.

She DOES know it's Kirito. What she DOESN'T know is that it's Kazuto..yato?(whatever) her cousin. She knows that shes playing with the avatar but she doesn't know that she's playing with her cousin.

This took me a bit to realize what you were saying. I forgot Kirito was just an alias. But that's what I meant to say: How does she not realize that she's playing with her onii-chan cousin? It's painfully obvious.

Avatars are customised in ALO, so a random person could just suddenly have the exact same looks as Kirito without being Kirito... Make Sense? It's impossible to tell, even if they're look-alikes.

Impossible, considering Accel World takes place a few years after SAO. There is however that theory that Kuroyukihime is the daughter of Kirito/Asuna.

I'm guessing it is official artwork, since Accel World and SAO are made by the same author.

Doesn't automatically make it official though, to me it looks a bit different to the official art used on the cover of one of the SAO novels.

Well I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be soloed. Kirito was just being plain stupid charging into there alone.
