    Why Outrage? Not to mention three Dragon type attacks is not taking advantage of Latios' coverage...

    If Empoleon gets low damage rolls with Ice Beam and Latios get high rolls with Psyshock, Latios can come out on top.

    252 SpAtk Choice Specs Latios (+SpAtk) Psyshock vs 252 HP/0 Def Empoleon: 32.26% - 37.9% (3-4 hits to KO)

    4 SpAtk Empoleon Ice Beam vs 0 HP/0 SpDef Latios: 45.85% - 54.49% (2-3 hits to KO)

    Is it really a counter when it's not 100% guaranteed to come out on top??

    It only needs to win 70% of the time, but I'm too lazy to calc the exact chance of me winning, so I'll just be generic this time.

    Chuckles at all of T-tars attacks; only Stone Edge can manage a 3KO. STAB Drain Punch is just overkill.

    levitate

    Calm (+ sp.defense -attack I always confuse it with careful)
    -Ice Beam
    -Morning Sun
    -Toxic
    -Psychic

    with 130/120 sp.defense.. I don't think none STAB moves can do that much..
