"The Greatest Sitcom Of All Time..." -Richard Reaper, CHICAGO SUN TIMES
"A Show About Nothing" -Unknown
Emmy Award For The Most Outstanding Comedy Series. 1992-1998
"A critical favorite, commercial blockbuster and cultural phenomenon" SEINFELD
The comedy about nothing. The show stood out from many other sitcoms in it's time. The show also has a strong sense of continuity, the characters and plots from the previous episodes are expanded upon (i.e. Jerry's girlfriend from the previous episode breaks up with her in the next episode). In this show, you're not supposed to feel sorry for any of the characters, in the episode where Susan, George's girlfriend, dies from licking envelopes, George is shocked for a moment and then shrugs it off. The principal character of this show is that the characters never learn their moral lessons.

Yes and no, it was very funny, but how can you really end a show about nothing. I think it was a bit of a cop out on the writers part.

I suppose that's true, it would be hard to end that. My favorite part of the last episode was when everyone was in court, and then George stood up and started yelling to Kramer "YOU HAD TO HOP!!!".
