Woot, Just got myself a shiny T-Tar
It is female with Jolly Nature
    Ability is Sandstream.

so this is what I was thinking (is currently UT)
I was thinking of using it as a Sandstorm Team Lead.

    Crunch
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Stealth Rock/Dragon Dance

    @Leftovers/Life Orb

    4HP - 252atk - 252spd

    I have been super inactive...
    I'm sorry...

^ I would go Dragon Dance to boost both stats you're focusing on.

    Pokémon Conkeldurr @ Flame Orb
    Guts
    Adamant
    252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def
    - Substitute
    - Payback
    - Hammer Arm
    - Bulk Up

I Figured this conkeldurr will probably be slow since I've put all the IVs in HP and Atk and Def, so I went with Payback to get 100att. Substitute allows me to set up my bulk up which after the subsitute fades I will be able to deal much more damage. Since my speed is already at its low point, I don't think reducing my speed due to hammer arm will make much of a difference so i used this move, plus it has 100 att. Plus flame orb and guts ability it gets 1.5x boost in atk which makes it 150 att, the same goes for payback.

^ Drain Punch you will find more useful for healing in between Sub's and Flame Orb damage , so use it instead of Hammer Arm. All else that I can say is to consider Mach Punch > Substitute for the useful Priority.

    Cool

darkcrystl the shiny gigalith(no held item currently)
    gentle
    sturdy
    earthquake
    stealth rock
    toxic
    stone edge
yeah she doesnt exactly have a good selection of attacks as as for her nature it wasnt a voluntary choice of mine since i caught her in the challenger's cave as a boldore im thinking about replacing toxic with attract since it seems a lot of the pokemon in the wifi battle world are male(go ahead and correct me if im wrong) so how would you go on about improving her?

Aqua Tail or Fire Punch. Depending on whether you hate Ground/Rock types or Steel types more.

made changes in bold and extra options in bold and underlined. drainpunch for recovery, mach punch for revenge killing. payback or stone edge is best, payback for ghosts, stone edge for flying types. either is powerful though. just hope that there isnt a ghost thats slower than conkel, or else payback would be 50 base. its basicly what arua said... alrdy typed it, then i looked up... i got to stop doing that.

I dont think it can learn Ice Punch as a Tympole unless you evolve it. so i suggest Hyper Voice

    Mawile @ Leftovers
    Intimidate
    Adamant
    252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
    - Swords Dance
    - Sucker Punch
    - Brick Break
    - Iron Head

This is the standard Mawile set I think, even though Mawile isn't commonly used, like ever. Is this outdated? Does it need updating? I was wondering if Intimidate should be replaced with Sheer Force (DW). Are leftovers necessary? I plan on breeding a Mawile because its one of my favorites. I'll probably use it both ingame and it will be thrown into my box of competitive pokemon, that I use when I throw teams together. But it will see the light of day in the competitive pokemon world. Is this set good, or should I change it up a bit?

I really like Sucker Punch here because Mawile is so slow, and that could help out in a pinch.

i wouldn't change it. This set is one of the fews she can run. Actually, this is the best set for her.
Sure, some people would change Lefties to Life Orb...i would do that, but it might be stupid, if you ask me. Just because she already holds kinda a power, and since she's using SD Set, LO is...useless, a big loss of time (item!) other things.

Again, this is the best set for her, IMO.
    The Black Mages!

I agree, zhanton should put Mawile's set up with Sheer Force, it's a better alternative imo.

Lum Berry is the only Item I see that could be used, because if Mawile is burned in Competitive, it loses any chance of even sweeping.

Changes in Bold. Note that Skill Link is far better, as otherwise Bullet Seed and Rock Blast suck.

    Swanna
    Item Focus Sash
    Nature Timid
    Ability Big Peck
    EVs 252 Special Attack/ 252 Speed/ 4 HP
    Move Set
    Scald
    Air Slash
    Ice Beam/ Hidden Power Fire?
    Tailwind

Scald and Air Slash for a good STAB move
Ice Beam or Hidden Power for coverages (I'm still not really sure about Hidden Power)
Tailwind to gain speed to Swanna or other Pokemon in my team
Focus Sash gives Swanna a lot of chance to use Tailwind

So I sort of neglected this thread for a few months but I'm happy to say that the Moveset Index is now fully updated with all the sets posted in this thread (as long as they used the correct format or something close to it), as well as a few more I added in myself. chap196 has also been added as a contributor to the Singles Rate Thread.

I've also updated the OP with a new guideline regarding EVs:

Regarding EVs - For the sake of consistency, please use the following abbreviations for stats when listing EVs: Atk (Attack), Def (Defence), SpA (Special Attack), SpD (Special Defence), Spe (Speed) and HP.
To illustrate this, I've included a sample set in the OP. Thanks to Tsumiki for coming up with the idea to include a sample set.

If I've made any mistakes with sets or you notice something's wrong, please let me know.

Xerneas, the Midgard Pokemon. Xerneas's branch-like horns are reminiscent of those
of the tree it guards. Its mighty horns contain jewels of dazzling colours. It chomps at
upper branches by craning its neck toward the sky. Xerneas protects the horizontal world.
