Default Do You Need to EV train your pokemon for the Battle Frontier?

Just a question. Do you need to EV train your pokemons to even make a chance in the Battle Frontier? 1 thing is sure , it WOULD HELP! but do you REALLY NEED to get EV ur pokemon good? Whats your Opinion about this.

Considering there is 64 extra points in stats you want, I'd say yes, It's very much recommended if you want to go far.

Actually, the 64 points more likely be 32 at level 50.

Yes you definitely need to because the cpu's pokemon will be EV trained.

It is possible to get the Silver Symbols without EV-training, but if you are going for the Gold Symbols or just high streaks in general, I strongly recommend EV-training. Getting the correct natures (and good IVs, if you can bother with it) is also something I would recommend.

im not a serious ev trainer--unless i am training a physical attacker.then i steer clear of special attackers with sp.attack effort points.or staying away from fast pokemon if training an already fast pkmn

you don't need to (I beat nearly the entire Fontier on Emerald without EV training) but it is highly reccomended because it is much, much harder if you didn't EV train.

Argh, can't you just let me sleep...

Maybe you're lucky and able to get a Symbol with non-EV trained Pokemon, but I'd advise you to use EV trained Pokemon. That makes the Battle Frontier much easier, I know from experience. For the best results in the Battle Frontier, treat it like competitive battling: professional breeding, natures, IV's, EV training and good movepools.

the battle pike silver you dont need to ev train i used my regular pokemon that i used to beat the game.

    Sceptile
    Alakazam
    Salamence

and of course the battle factory you rent pokemon.

the rest of the brains you need to ev train, especially if you want to go up agianst the battle tower and battle pyramid.

on a side note i have seen people use a regular shedinja to beat the battle dome.

    -Silver wind
    -Shadow ball

Ive never really completed the battle frontier. Maybe I should EV train my team properly.

I don't have the patience for breeding and IVs so I really have to rely on EVs. It isn't strictly necessary, but it does help. 32/64 points could make the difference between a loss or a win.

When I played Emerald, I did not know about Ev's etc.
I defeated all of them without Ev's.

    Saying sorry won't change anything
