Pokemon: Unova Chronicles

The World of Pokemon. What an extraordinary and wonderful place! Filled with over 600 species of pokemon and more being discovered, it is a miraculous land. Pokemon range from sizes big and small or short and tall. There are many types of people who interact with Pokemon each and every day. Some wish to train Pokemon and they fight alongside them. These are called Pokemon Trainers. Trainers can go on adventures and take challenges to fight the Pokemon Gyms and go and try to be the best Trainer. Others desire taking care of Pokemon and watching grow and become stronger and knowing the pros and cons on how to raise Pokemon. They are called Pokemon Breeders. Others also enjoy participating in Contests with Pokemon but instead of showing off their battling prowess and skills, they show off their style and strategies for gaining appeal and their Pokemon's outer and inner beauty. They participate in Pokemon Contests and are called Pokemon Coordinators. There are other people who laugh and play and observe Pokemon like Pokemon Watchers, Pokemon Researchers and many more special individuals.

However, it is also a dangerous land. For as long as there has been good, there is evil. There has always been evil people who with or without Pokemon, try and take control or of legendary Pokemon for their own evil agendas. These evil teams and groups have been stopped by Pokemon Rangers and the police. However, sometimes it occurs because special people, people who have powerful bonds with their Pokemon and good hearts and strong wills go and help save the world for all of humanity and Pokemon. Our story takes place in Unova, far from the main lands of Kanto, Jotho, Sinnoh and Hoemn. New rules have been applied since the incident that Mt. Coronet with Team Galaxy. While trainers can still leave at 10, they must travel in groups. This is the same for coordinators. Trainers who wish to seek a whole new experience are starting in their home regions or from different regions and here, there will be the stories to be told, adventures to be had and for the life lessons and friendships to be had. As we speak, trainers with their own companion are traveling to Professor Juniper's laboratory for their first Pokedex. However, those without Pokemon are also headed there to receive their first Pokemon. Be wary though. Much like in the other regions, Unova has been having its mysterious group as well. They call themselves Team Plasma. However, their goals and ideals are radically different than those of the other teams. And what of the legendary Pokemon here and most mysteriously, the strange holes or gates that appear with pink gas to some sort of "Dream World?"

Yup, this is a rebirth of Pokemon Wonderful, but with some slight modifications. We will all start from the same place. The Wonderful World of Pokemon was originally done by Martin until he vanished. As a Co-GM, I took over to help keep it going

Requirements:

• You must be able to make at least one post every few days. Exceptions are allowed but try and post as much as you can.
• You must be at least (higher is just fine) the age of your character. This is for maturity purposes so at least 13, again exceptions can be made.
• You must have experience or tell us your new and except any and all advice/criticism.
• You must have fun.

Information:

• Each group can travel the land however they want and in any order, they can participate in contests, fight gyms, or just do their thing.
• Wild Pokémon can sense your Pokémon's levels through there balls, so you will almost never be bothered by something to high or to low.
• Gym leaders will change Pokémon based on the trainers level of Pokémon to make things even.
• Your Pokémon will learn moves in order of the move list, but you have to train them to learn it. (it has happened often in anime) Two training posts are required per move. (don't have to be at the same time and probably shouldn't, one training session a day would be nice)
• If your wild Pokémon gets an egg move from it's own species that is on it's level list it may have one of them.
• Your Pokémon will retain the knowledge of all known moves but can only use five different moves per battle.
• To start with Please stick to your written personality though charachter changes do happen try to keep to what you said you start.
• In this RPG you can choose to have your Pokémon talk to one another through [ ] EX. Pikachu said, [That was cool!] but humans hear, "Pika!"

Description: Diego stands at five foot, 1 inch and weighing at 110 pounds, with light olive skin. He has low cheekbones, a boyish face, and no facial hair. He also invented a predictor to glasses. His hair is black with subtle patches of very dark brown, mainly in the tips. His hair is kept trimmed and neat, however the ends on the back of his head are messy and spiky. He has slightly bigger than average eyes, which are chocolate brown. His eyes are large enough that they are noticeably larger than average, even by a margin amount. He has a rather stocky build though a bit on the thin side of that spectrum as well.

Diego wears a gray t-shirt with a red sun on the front and blue crescent moon on the back. He has on some jeans and some black tennis shoes with a gold dragon on them. He has his PokeGear on his left arm and carries his Pokeballs in a black-camo backpack. He completes the ensemble with some futuristic-looking goggles on his head.

Personality:Diego has a soul of fire. He is a warm and passionate person with an occasion fiery temper and a burning streak for the pursuit for adventure and truth. He is very empathetic and has a great desire to help people out. Beneath this outgoing personality, Diego is a shy and quiet person. He is also a very artistic individual as he will often draw whenever he gets the chance to do so. He is very loyal, but can come on as clingy, especially around girls. He also likes to cook, which helps when he travels around. When in serious situations, he knows it is time for him to use his intelligence and strengths at their full capacity. He is a solid trainer, preferring to use mixed types that balance out as well as giving his pokémon 'surprise' attacks.

He has his faults, however. Some of these are being blunt, sarcastic, picking fights, laziness and often day-dreaming during certain moments and saying a weird comment afterward. He may also show some malevolent intent or hold grudges for a while. He may even show cruel moments, characterized by a crazed grins and shadows under his eyes. Unfortunately, his bluntness and inability to read subtle body language makes him come off of as insensitive.

Perhaps the single largest defining feature of his personality is his dark side. A collection of his lust, wrath, fear and bitterness, this amount of negative emotions followed by his natural abnormal mental state results in an alter ego, a dark side which he simply calls DX. DX is characterized as a sadistic and psychotic, unbound by most rules and his actions can lead to very large consequences. However, most of his desires follow a twisted and darkened version of Diego’s, so he isn’t a complete enemy. Ultimately, Diego is a kind young man who wishes to make friends, find love and help protect what he cares for.

History:
He is an experienced trainer and a rookie Move Tutor. He travels alot. He prefers a quiet life, but also enjoys an action-packed adventure. He was found as an orphaned infant clutching an egg in Bell Tower during a thunderstorm. No one knows who was it or how they got in. It wasn’t long before the monks and the Kimono Girls found him. They were not able to locate his parents nor were any missing infants reported at orphanages, they decided to raise the child together. His early years were filled with happiness except for a certain incident. On his first birthday, he had a nightmare and when his surrogate moms came in to check, it was a new moon and believed Darkrai was behind this. Diego was never able to remember the nightmare, though they left emotional scars on him and there are moments where he cannot be left alone. His schoolboy years were characterized by indifference and occasional taunting. He was teased because of his different nature and that he had no ‘real’ family. This is led to fights between Diego and the students.

In an attempt to stop the violence, Diego was taught to restrain his negative emotions and in return, the bullying would stop. Unfortunately, he was still treated indifferently and with passive aggression, resulting in many lonely recesses. Upon reaching the age of 10, he traveled to Professor Elm’s to get his first official Pokémon and to begin his journey. However, because of recent issues, he had decided to postpone his official Gym quest and just go and travel. He had gain valuable experience on how to catch Pokemon and deal with the wilderness. He also fought against unsavory foes. Eventually, he was invited to Professor Juniper’s lab at around his 13th birthday. So, he and his partner Pikachu went along for this.

Species: Pikachu
Name: Pikachu
Personality: Pikachu was Diego’s 1st ever pokemon. He evolved from a Pichu that was hatched from an egg that was found alongside Diego. He was with Diego literally throughout his entire life and they have a relationship as strong and powerful as a similar trainer and his Pikachu. Pikachu is also somewhat of an anomaly, being stronger than most Raichu. He is a somewhat serious character and sometimes acts like a straight man when Diego has a ‘crazy’ moment. However, they care deeply for one another and has shown massive levels of rage when his trainer is hurt.

If this is a "rebirth" of The Wonderful World of Pokémon, shouldn't you mention that the original wasn't made by you and give credit to the original GM? That, and mention whether or not you got their permission for this. I didn't partake in the last one and I don't know much you're changing and how much you're keeping the same, but seems like common courtesy anyway. I know this is just a generic trainer rp and that there are plenty of those, but you're the one who likened it to Wonderful and made it seem like this was it, resurrected.

Dream/Goal: Find his parents one day, capture all Dark type Pokemon.

Description: Cobalt dresses in a dark attire, making sure that what he wears allows him to sneak about a night, not only that but they're his favorite colors as well. He wears dark blue jeans, they fit fairly nice on him but just in case he something were to make them loose he wears a black cargo belt that contains PokeBall holders for convenience. Covering the belt is the edge of his navy blue slim fit t-shirt with his pitch black hoodie over it. On his hands are fingerless gloves with a black and blue striped pattern. His shoes are black and rather special the dark blue rubber is made out of a special material which grips onto wood and cement making it easier to run up walls and stop in place. He carries a black backpack around which contains the essentials for a traveler, swim trunks, extra outfit, and cleaning materials for when he has the chance. Around his neck are black headphones that can pretty much block out any and all sound there is no wire on them since it is connected wirelessly to his mp3 which is always in his jeans pocket unless he is pausing, playing, or changing a song.

His black hair is a bit spiky/crazy in the back giving him a scene look, and it is also long enough in the front so it falls over one of his eyes giving him an emo look. This allows one of his ocean blue eye to stay revealed. He stands at 5'10 and his skin color is light brown. He has a medium build which allows him to pull himself up but allows him to move about without a sound at most times.

Personality: Cobalt is very expressive when something is on his mind he is very open about it and let's it be known. Which feeds into his attitude of do now, think later, not really considering the outcome. This can be very troublesome quality because it has gotten him into trouble but has also helped him figure out who he was and what he is able to accomplish. He is somewhat athletic but only in the discipline of parkour and the self expression of free running. This has helped him overcome many fears and has opened his mind to many possibilities and paths you can take in the world. This has also made him experience a lot of pain, because sure enough since he does now and thinks later he has fractured a few bones. He doesn't let that stop him though after recovery he fixes what was wrong and succeeds in whatever trick/stunt he injured himself on, always pushing his boundaries.

Whenever he sees two people arguing or something that has gone wrong he tries to fix it. He has a short temper and if the problem isn't solved within a few minutes he tends to get a little angry and frustrated until the situation is solved. One last thing about cobalt is that he is very friendly towards strangers. He likes to have friends and if he can he teaches people new things, whether it be something to do with parkour, or Pokemon.

History: Cobalt was the kid that would always get himself in trouble, not intentionally but it never failed. It was either that or he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He didn't know that this was how he would lose his parents, when he was 10 he and decided to run away from home nearing one of the cities he saw something he wasn't supposed to, he the sprinted home with the criminals behind. Slamming the door and yelling random things to his parents it didn't take long for the criminals to bust down the door. It had fallen on top of him knocking him unconscious, this was the last time he saw his parents.

The whereabouts of his parents were never found. The only relatives he had were in Castelia City. He was sent there to live with his aunt and uncle he didn't really know them but they were somewhat wealthy. They opened him up to many things, a few main things were how to remain unseen and the discipline of Parkour which is going from location A to location B in the quickest way possible, going through, under and over and object in your way. The only reason his journey was prolonged once reaching here was his injuries he would receive in training.

The time has now come where all injuries have been long past for a good year. The memory of his parents remain and he is determined to complete this journey for them. Not only for them but also for his aunt and uncle you have risen him.


Special Skills: He practices the art of Parkour which allows him to move from location A to location B in the quickest way possible. This has taught him how to see objects different ways, he can fit through small spots, flip over railings, run up wall, and climb things fairly well.

Species: Pawnard
Name: Knight
Personality: Knight was introduced to Cobalt right before he left Nuvema Town, his aunt and uncle knew how much he liked Dark Pokemon and they figured Pawniard was a perfect match for him. He can be hard headed, and only listens to Cobalt and can be rude to new people/pokemon. Once he feels that he can trust someone he will open up but he still has that slight rudeness every now and again. He is a very skilled fighter, planning before he strikes, sort of the opposite of Cobalt. Somehow this match up makes a great team.

Dream/Goal: To become the Head of State.

Description: Robert stands at a metre and sixty-three centimetres, which is slightly below the average height of most people his age. He is of medium build, but is considered thinner than others his age. It is easy to identify him as of Asian descent, with his skin tone and the retaining of an epicanthic fold. He has somewhat high cheekbones, along with a more concave nasal ridge. His eyes, like most people of Asian descent, are a dark brown, and he also possesses short black hair.

On his chin are several tiny strands of hair - the beginnings of a beard.

His favoured choice of outfit consists simply baggy black pants and a simple grey t-shirt, along with some simple white runners. However, due to regional temperature differences, he regularly wears either a blue jumper, or an incredibly bland looking jacket that he bought from the local clothing store. When travelling in colder areas, he also dons gloves that cover his entire hand, which, despite keeping him warm, reduce the efficiency of his fingers.

Personality: Robert is, at his core, a rather selfish, lazy and egotistical teen. However, he severely overestimates his own negative traits, believing himself to be more of a jerk than he actually is. He can be rather obnoxious and annoying at times, but is actually somewhat kind and optimistic person, with a rather knowledgeable mind that is rarely used due to being incredibly lazy. Yet he does not really take into account his more positive traits, and is rather harsh on himself.

Which doesn't actually affect him that much either, seeing that he lacks care for most things in life unless they involve him heavily.

He, at various times, is known to have nearly completely different personalities. This is due to his tendency to suffer from mood swings, which occur due to the effects of his environment.

In the early mornings, he is known to be rather grumpy at times, and can be rude and blunt to others. He is also more prone to anger around this period of time, for he rarely gets enough sleep unless forced to.

After fully waking up, which is around the afternoons, Robert becomes a more cheerful and outgoing person, but is still somewhat obnoxious and annoying at times. It is during this period in which he is more amicable and friendly.

In the evenings, he settles into a more dreamy mode, the effects of not having enough sleep finally catching up to him. During this phase, he regularly falls asleep while doing random things, and is too tired to think about many things.

History: Robert's early life was rather akin to most people, having been born to a somewhat dysfunctional family in a highly industrialised city. He spent most of his early years at school like most children, and soon became incredibly curious about the world around him. This started off his thirst for knowledge, and he soon decided to try and become a trainer to explore the world, thereby obtaining more information.

Not soon after his decision, which occurred when he was eight, he went on a holiday to Icirrus City, where he first encountered a Stunfisk, which he childishly named 'Mr. Awesome'. The two struck up a kinship, for Robert, having developed a rather large ego over the years, felt that meeting another being with a massive ego was an interesting occurrence, and the two soon began to see how far their arrogance could go.

Deciding to capture the Stunfisk to be his first Pokemon, the two egotistical beings soon began a random adventure around the regions near Castelia, preparing themselves for the inevitable Pokemon journey that Robert, like most people, would go on. So when he was invited to Professor Juniper's lab to begin the journey, he set off on his quest to learn lots of random things and try to become the Head of State of the nation along the way.

Special Skills: Robert has no special skills of note, other than the ability to creep out nearly everyone via his disregard for personal space.

Species: Stunfisk
Name: Mr. Awesome
Personality: Like his trainer, Mr. Awesome is also rather egotistical; enjoying the feeling of being superior to everyone else that he knows. He loves watching people fall into despair, and can be somewhat of a troll at times. However, he can be rather pleasant at times, for he is, in his own language, a honest gentlefish.

Other: Mr. Awesome wears a monocle and has a fake moustache.

Name: Sophianne
Age: 11
Gender: Female

Starting Town: Nuvema Town
Home Town, Region: Accumula Town, Unova
Occupation: Trainer

Dream/Goal: Win Accumula Battle Club & Unova League

Description: Sophianne is a white girl with somewhat long brown hair. She also has blue eyes which really glisten. She takes good care of her body to stay at normal weight and to not have any sort of blemishes. Sophianne is strong at all really as she doesn't want to waste her time with strength when she can focus more on looks. After all, even a tough guy can get subdued by a girl. Her hair is almost always down, put sometimes she has a nice hairdo and very rarely is it not combed properly.



For clothing, Sophianne likes to wear long sleeve shirts that are usually different colored shirts, such as pink and red. Over that, she'll wear a silver jacket which she wraps around her waist when the weather is warmer. Sophianne always (and only) wears blue jeans as well which aren't tight (she thinks tight pants are uncomfortable) and with no rips. Her jeans are dark blue (not very dark blue) and are actually a little tight, but not enough where she wouldn't wear it. She doesn't wear chains or anything like that, but she does have earrings, necklaces and rings on her. She likes to wear pink lipstick and her hair down as well. Her shoes are gray boots (or UGGS as they are called) with buttons on the side. Sophianne usually puts the end of her jeans in the UGGS because her jeans are a little tight, so it fits. She also doesn't wear a belt because it takes longer for her to take off her jeans with a belt and it would not be good for her to pee and/or poop in her jeans, or if she needed to put on something formal, etc. Instead of a belt for her Poké Balls, she uses a crimson colored purse for the Poké Balls as well as other belongings like extra clothes and make up.

Personality: Sophianne loves to be out on her own (or with a good looking guy) because it gives her freedom. She wont have to be bossed around by her parents, although she isn't a good daredevil and wont do dares, like eating from a garbage pail or something like that. She also HATES when her appearance is wet in some way since she works hard to get to what she looks like and would basically cry if she is wet (unless if she wants to be wet, like in a swimming pool with the proper attire).

Sophianne is good at seeing when someone is unhappy and can cheer them up. She can also make most boys do whatever they want with her looks. Aside from when her appearance is not wet in some way when Sophianne doesn't want it to be, Sophianne is pretty much always happy and wants to make sure everyone else is happy too. She is a pretty good leader, despite being only 11 years old and is very knowledgeable. She had a crazy childhood, but managed to find a way and can really lead people with her great knowledge.

History: Sophianne lived in Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh region with parents and five older brothers. Her parents were killed by Team Galactic a little while ago and then her older brothers took charge. They'd beat up Sophianne, not let her use the bathroom, feed her slightly less than she needed; basically they didn't like her. One day, Sophianne ran away after saving up enough for a boat to the Unova region. She landed in Castelia City where two business people (man and woman) took Sophianne in and raised her for the remaining year.

They live in Accumula Town at Nuvema Town. The two people run an orphanage which Sophianne was put in as the parents yelled at her horrible brothers. There is a Battle Club in Accumula Town which Sophianne wasn't allowed to be in and Don George tlold her she had to have a Starter Pokémon. One week later, Sophianne has just received her Snivy in the mail, nicknamed Ivy. She is about to go to Nuvema Town to meet her representative. Sophianne decided to battle Pokémon Gyms and most importantly, the Accumula Town Battle Club (maybe more if I'm allowed to).


Special Skills: She is very flirtatious and can thus get what she wants most of the time.

Personality: She is kind of similar to her trainer, where they both can get what they want, though Ivy likes to whip people with Vine Whip.

DVB, your plot is way too short right now. Only the first two paragraphs can be counted as being plot-related, and that's less than half the minimum length it should be. Elaborate. What time period in Unova is this - before or after the rise and defeat of N? Who are the mysterious characters mentioned, and what exactly are they doing? What's going to be so special about these kids? What can they expect to do? What challenges can they expect to face? Please edit your plot if you wish for your RPG to continue.

Well, now that the rule is out of the way....

Name: Erika Walker
Age: 13
Gender: Female

Starting Town: Nuvema Town
Home Town, Region: Goldenrod City, Kanto
Occupation: Trainer

Dream/Goal: To become a gym leader, artist, or both.

Description: Erika stands a little below five and a half feet, making her average for her age. She has tan skin from playing outside, but she’s naturally white. She has a boyish figure due to the fact that she hasn’t hit puberty yet, and hardly has any belly fat due to her metabolism. However, her chest has grown a little, and can be noticed if she isn’t wearing layers. She has a cute button nose and two average chestnut-brown eyes. Her teeth are covered with the fantastic metal contraption called braces, and this causes her to have a bit of a lisp with her s’s. She typically wears blue rubber bands in her braces. Her hair is dark black, and ends just below her chin. It’s really crazy, with two clumps of hair swinging out of her head, level with her eyes, and with another strand sticking out from the very top of her head. The bottom strands stick out in all sorts of directions, revealing plenty of split ends. Her hands are often stained with pencil led, and often you can find a pencil in her hair or on her ear.

Erika has a blue shirt that wears almost like a mini-dress since it’s obviously too big for her. It’s sky blue with two basic white pokeball designs on it. On is on the right bottom corner and the other is on the middle of her chest. The sleeves end a little bit before her elbows very loosely. Under this she wears a pair of dark blue shorts that have two small pockets with yellow buttons. The shorts end a little above the middle of her thigh, and under them she wears a pair of black leggings that end a little below her knees. On her feet she wears a simple pair of white sneakers that are obviously worn with grass stains and other scratches. On her hands she wears a dark grey pair of fingerless gloves. They were obviously handmade since it looks like someone took a winter glove and just cute the finger ends off.

For cold weather she has a—you guessed it—blue leather jacket with a navy colored hood. She also has a pair of grey skinny jeans for her legs. She has a winter hat that is basically a Squirtle head, and has two braided tails that end in little brown Squirtle shells.

Personality: Erika is constantly doing something. Whether it’s reading a book, drawing, battling or talking, she’s doing something. She doesn’t mind sitting back and relaxing, but it better be with a pencil and paper or with a book. Despite this you don’t find her talking very much unless there is an open occasion for it. If she doesn’t feel like talking, she won’t. Her mood changes constantly due to the fresh smell of hormones, and she can go from happy to angry to sad to happy again within seconds. She ends up thinking to herself most of the time, so unless you were paying attention to the changes of her expression you wouldn’t even notice.

Erika isn’t very good at making friends, due to her quirky nature. However, whenever she does, she remains with them for a long time. She is very loyal, and will try her best to make sure the other is happy. She does this by joking and encouraging, but what she is beginning to find is that what most people need is a listener. So that’s what she does most of the time: listens. She is completely fine with this, and even prefers it, since she isn’t really great at giving advice.

Despite her happy nature, Erika can get upset, and this can be done by bullying or just something plain annoying. Bullying will make her sad and maybe even doubt herself, but she can pick herself up and hide her pain for a moment whenever she’s alone. When she’s angry, she does the same thing. She isn’t great at exerting anything beyond happiness, so she doesn’t. She hides it and waits for a moment when she can be alone. A way to think about it is that she wants to look stronger.

Erika loves drawing and reading. She likes reading about imaginary worlds and drawing the characters or her favorite scenes from the book. She also likes creating characters from her own worlds, which she has hundreds of. She also likes video games, and carries around a DS just for entertainment. She’s good at the video game version of Pokemon, but she knows that raising real pokemon will be completely different. Or, at least her mom told her so. She was also in her school band for four years, and knows how to play percussion instruments quite well. She wouldn’t be able to express this very much, however. Basically she excels in arts, but has a little trouble in science and math.

She’s a city girl, so she isn’t very used to walking around in tall grass or going to sleep without hearing a police siren or two. It’s going to be harder for her to deal with nature. However, she was in cross-country and track in school, so she is a pretty fast runner and will most likely use that to avoid battles. When it comes to boys, she really doesn’t have much interest. She has never had a crush before, and doesn’t really intend to.

History: Erika was born to a happy mother and father and older brother. She was a cute baby, running around and babbling in her own made up words and world. Her brother was five years older than her, so there was some distance, but she managed to get along with him and became close with him anyways. He always watched over her, and in return she always cheered him up with immature antics. However, things were slowly getting worse for her parents. Her parents became more and more distant. There wasn’t any fighting or anything like that, but the love they used to have was changing into something different. They no longer looked at each other as husband and wife, and it eventually came to the point where they were strangers. Whenever they announced the divorce to Erika when she was eleven she wasn’t surprised. She had noticed the distance growing in the past few years. It was probably the most peaceful divorce in history. Her father agreed to only seeing her on the weekends and moved into a house not too far away. She was sad to see her dad go, but her parents still managed to be friends and got along very well. The love was still there, it was just changed.

After the divorce, her mother finally decided to move from her old job as a secretary and became a florist. The shop was only a little way from Erika’s school so on her walk home she would often stop by to see what her mother was doing. A year later her brother left to become a pokemon trainer, since before he was too shy to begin, he decided it was never too late. Apparently he was successful, because he soon became a gym leader in Johto. Erika thought that was very cool and considered becoming one herself. It slowly became a dream.

Each year her mother would send her to her grandmother’s in Nuvema Town to stop for a visit. She usually stayed there for a few days then came back. But when she was just about to turn thirteen her grandmother convinced her mother to let her become a trainer. Erika honestly didn’t mind waiting as long as her brother did, but she was excited to become a trainer. Soon after the news, her grandmother gave her a blue pokeball with a white wing design on it. She said it held a pokemon called Dratini, and allowed Erika to have it as her own. Erika gladly took it, and named it Sky because of the color of his slithery skin.

Personality: Sky is often accused of being a girl. This is not only because of his appearance, but also of his character. He blushes often in embarrassment and has a very high pitched voice due to young age. He likes talking about contests and clothes, and isn’t as interested in battle. However, he knows that Erika wants to learn how to battle, and he likes Erika. He believes that he can learn how to be a manly dragon pokemon if he tries, and that’s his goal.

Other: I didn’t really want to use Everest again, because She ended up being a little bit of a drama queen, plus she was older than the usual trainer. I like the more chillax and happy characters better. Plus, this is a character that I’ve had for years and I’m more experienced with.

Description: Tyler is a almost ghostly-pale boy, standing at 5'7", and is very thin and lean. With dark red hair, sharp canines, and red irises, he stands out, which doesn't help as he is timid and shy. He has slightly pointed ears too. He wears baggy clothing, all of which is in the pattern of flames. He custom-made them himself, using clothing paints on plain black and white clothing. His t-shirt also has a drawing in the centre of a Fire-Type Braviary, posing as a phoenix. He wears a black headband with the Bravery Kanji written on it in red, and he wears skating trainers, which are red, black and yellow, like all of his clothing. Despite his Fire-type stylistic clothing, Tyler is not centred towards this type, the colours and resemblance of fire and birds to his surname interest him.

Personality: Tyler is a shy boy, with a fiery temper. He has a problem working in large groups, but tends to be OK in groups of 3 or 4, or by himself. Due to this, in larger groups, Tyler's timid side will take over, and he often stutters and stammers frequently, meaning it is hard for him to express any point of view without making a fool of himself. Tyler will speak out to what he wants, but, unlike many, Tyler listens avidly to the other people's views, learning from their understanding, and developing his more by doing so. But yet again, in the larger groups, his ability to speak fails, and this then puts him of even trying to listen to others, so the understanding of people he would gain almost rots away. Tyler is a very creative person, and loves to draw, write and play the harmonica. He draws very well, and this becomes apparent when he sketches a brief image of a Pokemon, human or other object, and then from memory makes it realistic. He likes to then create a shot story based around his image, as a way to give it a real-life perspective.

History: Tyler was born in Vientown, Almia, and spent most of his young life travelling back and forth with his father to Pueltown on his daily commute. Tyler often noticed the Pokemon there, and would draw pictures of them, or write a description or short story about and adventure they may have. Tyler's art and writing was noticed by the Vientown Ranger base, who published his stories and art in the Vien Tribune. Tyler was even invited to the Ranger HQ and met Sven, one of the top Rangers. Sven gave Tyler a trip of a lifetime, whizzing his around Almia on his Luxray. He then left Tyler a harmonica, an instrument which fascinated Tyler. After meeting Sven and his Partner, Luxray, Tyler produced his best artwork ever, an image of the Top Ranger capturing a Gliscor, Luxray's Thunder blasting across the background.

After hearing of the chance to travel Unova, Tyler left for Nuvema Town, wishing his parents well, and heading out on his adventure. but as a leaving gift, he was given a Ranger Styler by Sven to capture a wild Pokemon. Tyler hunted for a few hours around the Vien Forest, before stumbling into a cave, and finding what he was after. A Smeargle. He captured it, bonding with it, then deactivated the Styler's capture settings, and kept it for communication with his new friends at the Ranger HQ only.

Special Skills: Tyler is an avid artist, who regularly stops to sketch a quick image to work on. he also has a semi-photographic memory, making life much easier when it comes to drawing from memory. it does also mean he remembers the negative things in life clearly too.

Pokémon

Species: Smeargle
Name: Sketcher
Personality: Sketcher is a rather quiet and young Smeargle, much like his trainer. He stands by his side regularly, and due to having no PokeBall, travels everywhere on foot, or on Tyler's shoulder. The paint-like substance on his tail is a dark red, but he is not shiny as the main body is the same. He has no footprint mark on his back, as he is a young Smeargle, however, Tyler thinks Sketcher will let another Pokemon do it if they have befriended Sketcher enough. Sketcher always has a large smile, is friendly, despite his quiet nature. He often paints markings on other Pokemon, but does not understand that the others do not appreciate it.

Other: I thought long and hard about using this guy, or to use a different character. But I like the idea of Tyler and Sketcher painting together, and it's an interesting new idea for me.

Also, for the sake of the RP, can Sketcher use the move Sketch more than once every ten levels, otherwise he'll be tuck with his first move for a while, and then only two moves, etc, etc.
