I really hope they'll handle IQ skills the way they did in the previous game. It made putting a team together more interesting.
Hopefully they'll have the sense to give ALL Pokemon larger then one star better IQ skills, though, as there was little reason to use something like Steelix or Wailord when they simply denied you the use of a full team with no real benefits. It was a reasonable balancing factor for Dialga and Palkia due to them having the broken Absolute Mover skill, but not for anything else.
The game looks great.
I'm going to miss the sprites though : (
Perhaps it might be a late reply; however, I am excited that a new PMD has finally been announced. It's about time and indeed it's good to see that the series is still continuing (I loved the previous installments and it's good to hear that this one will have a deeper story than the previous ones).
My only disappointment is with the possibility of five starters; however, as the others have said I guess I shouldn't worry for now. The game still has time before its release and I do hope more starters become available (I personally like the diversity of the playable characters in this series, so I hope it doesn't lose that factor).

...so appearantly you aren't just limited to 4 dimensional squares.
WAT.
I MUST SEE THIS IN ACTION BEFORE i LABEL IT SOMETHING. ._.
The image in your signature was too wide. Read the rules before you update your signature.
Maybe they'll add the other starters in for paid DLC?
They abandoned grid based movement? I don't understand how in the world the gameplay's supposed to work now if that's the case, unless it's not pseudo turn based anymore.
I'm also not really sure what to think of the DLC. Hopefully, the DLC dungeons will just provide an easier method of getting some otherwise rare Pokemon, and won't include Pokemon that can't be obtained anywhere else.
I'd assume he wasn't just referring to the movement in the overworld, because that's not really a groundbreaking or unexpected change..
DLC? What's that? :/ Does DL stand for Down Low?

I think it's more Nintendo's decision.
And considering how well the Fire Emblem: Awakening DLC sold, it's safe to assume they'll be trying it for many more games in the future.
GameFreak are. Chunsoft are not.
We'll not likely see paid DLC for main games. Relax
That and there's instant diagonal movement now, rather than having to press a button or be precise in doing so
That won't happen. Nintendo's policy is that DLC is to be an EXTRA. The game is to be complete without the DLC and any DLC is done after game development ends and is just an extra which also adds to it
