On the topic of bosses, I LOOOOVE the idea of a Bisharp with an army of Pawniards as a boss fight. Chess puzzle boss, GO!

Well, to be fair, Dark types are called "evil" and many of the designs are supposed to look evil while they're doing evil things.

Something is wrong here. The partner select usually comes after you get your main pokemon through the quiz. So why does this game's partner select show pikachu, snivy, axew, oshawott, and tepig? See the problem? The partner list should be missing at least one pokemon.

For example, say you get pikachu through the quiz. Pikachu should now be removed from the list. Unless we can pick a pokemon of the same species which wouldn't make sense.

I don't think that's the partner select, I think it's the Starter select.

So was Duskull in PMD2. Also, some of the guild members in this game (assuming that is an exploration guild) are Dark types, including Umbreon and Scraggy.

Speaking of Genesect, anybody think it would be cool to have a space like setting to fight against Genesect? It could be similar to Jirachi's Wish Cave back in Explorers of Sky. And look at those reaction icons, 2D and in much better quality than the previous games! I can't wait to see the others again. I wonder if there will be any references to the previous games?

Genesect doesn't really fit a space theme. He does fit a technology theme, though.

I almost don't really care how the starters work so long as you're not forced to be just 1 pokemon all the time, I just want this game to make me cry like the last games.

I always play as Pikachu anyway, but I like the replay ability with all the different combos you could get. I'm not sure who my partner will be this time. I'm leaning towards Oshawott since they're some of my favourite Gen V Pokémon.

Even if more starters are revealed, I'm still going with Snivy and Axew. Ice types will destroy me , but my team will still be awesome.

I wonder when it'll play. Track 1 is clearly the Main Theme, Track 2 has a foresty dungeon sort of feel, maybe it'll be the town theme or the guild theme. I'm not sure about 3, but it's really cutesy so maybe it'll play while you're selecting your characters. 4 just makes me feel all happy inside. I'm not really sure where in the story they plan on using it but the song has a lot of emotion.

Wigglytuff is clearly an immortal deity. The habitat salesman Wigglytuff in the first game has the same vocal quirk as Guildmaster Wigglytuff. The question isn't 'IF' wigglytuff is going to appear in this game, but rather, 'HOW.' =P

Awwww no Wigglytuff. Most likely we'll have something similar to it. Where are our Pokemon going to sleep? Unless we have something similar to Mystery Dungeon Blue & Red Rescue Team.

I didn't care much for Friend Areas, they were a neat idea in that we saw the sort of places the mons lived, but in felt like a pain having to get the friend areas before being able to recruit certain dudes.

There does seem to be a guild in this game, but it consists of different Pokemon. It appears to be headed by Virizion and also includes an Espeon and Umbreon, two Timburrs, a Gurdurr, an Emolga, a Dunsparce, a Scraggy, and a Quagsire.

I despised Friend Areas, some of them were really expensive too. I prefer recruiting Pokemon the easy way like in PMD2.
