That's just our personal preference. We didn't see much of May's Blaziken either and Fraxure isn't even that good of a dragon, which is probably another reason Axew is not evolving anytime soon.

I would of loved to see more of Blaziken lol.

Some starters have evolved, others have not. With Axew's case, it's Iris partner, her hair piece, and her best friend. Realistically, it doesn't have enough battle experience to warrant an evolution so asking for one would be forcing it. We still have time in BW so we'll likely going to see Axew showing more improvement, and then evolving when the gen is about to finish.

What I mean is that the fandom tends to label the middle forms of the starters as the ugliest ones.

Um and Torchic did?? Experience isn't the issue as Ash would still have a Pidove at this point.

True but that doesn't look like that's gonna be the case with Axew and dragons are harder to evolve than the pidoves of the world.

I agree. I want to see Axew battle and use Giga Impact again and cement it as a permanent move in its arsenal (not like outrage).

Dragon claw would be cool though I doubt we'll ever see outrage again. When Axew battled Garchomp, I believe Cilan said that Scratch and Dragon rage were the only moves Axew knew.

Not sure who would win:
If Drayden wins, it means Iris still has some training to do and learn more.
If Iris wins, it would mean she has improved and it will promote that kind of strengh in B/W2.

Either way, I enjoy watching a Dragon gymleader battle. (Dragons are my favourite type).
