Stephan did? I thought that he was winning the battle with whatever move Zebstrika had just used.. or did I see wrong? And Virgil's using his Vaporeon in the first round so hopefully we get to see him use some other Eeveelutions next round.

Pikachu didn't have use of its electric moves & couldn't defeat Snivy.

Pikachu was not able to defeat Servine.

Pikachu is able to defeat Serperior.

^ This makes no sense so they better have a good battle that will make Serperior's loss acceptable....

First of all, we don't know how much electricity Pikachu "recovered" from Zekrom, for all we know it might not have been until the "theiran" battle when he took that blow from Thundurus that he got his "real" power back.

Also worth noting that early on before Pikachu got Electro Ball, it was losing quite abit, funny how by swapping Volt Tackle out it started winning fights again.

They will probably have Pikachu get it's butt handed to it, then hit Serperior with an attack or 2, followed by the combination attack shown in the manga version, winning the match.

Speaking of the "manga" i'm gonna laugh my head off if after the battle Trip approaches Ash and demands to know if he was "holding back" in thier earlier fights (Since I have no doubt that Pikachu beating his Serperior is bound to cause some eyebrow raising with Trip given his character), cause we know that while the comic does one thing, that's not always the case.

*facepalm* I dont even know why I said that anyway XD I wonder how much of a struggle it will be for Stephan to beat this Bravairy though.. He's using Zebstrika so it wont be that hard and the same with Bianca and Emboar against that Watchog. I just hope Virgil and Kotesu dont get easy wins..

I feel like the preview is trying to show that it will be easy wins for everyone, minus Trip versus Ash of course. I do think Kotetsu MIGHT struggle a tiny bit though.

I do feel as if they'll all get easy wins, except for Ash since it's a rival battle.

Thats cuz they want to show how powerful these guys are. I'm still rooting for Ash of course, out of all of his rivals though the one I hope makes it far is Bel, it'd be cool if she knocked out one of these rivals before facing Ash.

Anyway, are there really no other matches than Ash vs Trip and Bianca vs some Cotd confirmed? I thought that a Kotesu and Stephan battle were confirmed to happen this episode too :/ I saw Zebstrika vs Bravairy in the preview..

Ash vs Trip and Bianca vs COTD are the only confirmed matchups. the other rivals do battle but we have no idea against who

Ah, really? I do need to check back here often, but in my defense, this is an important thread and there are a lot of not so important posts here, so it's kind of hard to find. Now I see the Watchog in the low quality photo, but to me it looks like a pretty weird/awkward pose after firing the attack.

Okay. It's just that I saw those sort of posts from you and others acting like it was a fact before we fully knew, so I couldn't tell the difference.

Nice to see that I was right about believing that the person Bianca was facing didn't have a hat, but it was just hair.

And I know some may complain and have, that such an ordinary Pokemon is show fighting in the Pokemon league, against an important rival/character, but I don't see the problem. The League doesn't have to be full of powerful looking Pokemon.

Well, unlike the trainers from the various tournaments, Katharine actually got a lot of focus and an episode dedicated to her and her Gothita. I hope that we will see how she's doing during the league.

Why would Ash have a 3 on 3 in round 1 and the rest have 1 on 1?? The Samurott is clearly from the same battle lol.
