Static ability + Quick attack + Mascot factor = good enough to destroy Serperior imo

Thunderbolt to counter Solarbeam, Quick Attack to dodge Frenzy Plant, Iron Tail to counter Dragon Tail.

How about Pikachu uses Electro Ball but throws it in the air and uses Thunderbolt to add power and speed to Electro Ball, making it crash to Serperior like a forceful meteor!

Yeah I don't get what's the big deal about beating Serperior. Pikachu is literally all that's needed, add in the fact that it might've taken some damage or being tired by fighting any other Pokes Ash has had remaining before Pika and it's just fine.

How many of you hope Ash takes Trip out easy in the league? I kind of am, of course Ash won't mock him though even though the guy did that to him tons of times.
I'd love it if each of Ash's Pokemon learn a new move or two before the league some how??? It'd be cool if one of them evolved too but thats me.
I hope Bel improved a lot since the last time we saw her, sucks how little we saw of her in these past few episodes. She wasn't even in the tournament dang.
I'm glad Team Rocket won't be in it this time, I was really annoyed with them in the D/P league, they took up too much screen time and I really wanted to see some of the older Pokemon in action too.

Even if Ash Wins, I hope writer doesn't turn Unova League into The Weakest League Conference ever!
After seeing the Battle in other Tournament , I really worried about the Battle of this League's !
In DP , Trainer use their Pokemon's Attack , Additional effect of a Attack , Status Attack and Ability to fight !
Such as ,
-Using ''Sleath Rock'' or ''Toxic Spick'' for stopping Substitution.
-Using ''Light Screen'' to aid the User's comrades
-Setting up trap
-Creating various Move Variation like ''Counter Shield''
Because of all this , The Battle of DP seem more exciting with a mixture of Dueling .(Yugioh)
However , BW series has nothing like this.
I don't get why Ash haven't use ''Counter Shield'' when he clearly remember it.
It make me feel like that Ash might be holding back in Unova for some reason.
Well In his last battle with Paul,
When Internape got hit by Electivire's close range ''Thunder'' , Reggie said ''Why Ash Keep Falling For Same Trick Over & Over ?''
However When Infernape goes all blaze , He said ''So This Is What Ash Been Planning All along ?
It kind a implied that Ash was planning to end the battle with Infernape's Blaze So he let Electrivire beat his Gliscor & Pikachu on purpose.
Although , He could just use Infernape from the Start !
Anyway , If Ash doing the same thing in Unova all alone then it help to redeem Ash.
But Question is , Why Ash going to do this in Unova ?
Ash might have a good reason for doing this with Paul but why he's going to do this in Unova ?

Now wouldn't that be epic trip lays down SR then phases ashes team with dragon tail leading to a 6-0 win through stealth rock damage. I don't think the bouffalant one counts because both sides only had 1 pokemon.
