I think so, even I'm starting to predict battles easily and I'm no good at it. I'm sure this league will be at least somewhat different or unique considering all the changes.

Why does it have to be a final season for him to win a league. Coming from a improved writer, your journey is just the beginning after completing something big. If Ash won a league, it doesn't make him a 'Master', just the league champ like in the games.

This year I actually wanted some changes from before like wanting Bianca or a girl to win the league this time while Trip lost to someone else but it's going to be the same cycle all over again. And since winning leagues doesn't make you Pokemon master, I don't see why winning one hasn't happened yet. If he still won leagues, he could still be reset and the same thing will go on.

End of series 1, Ash wins Kanto league leaves show with everyone else
Series 2 Gold/Marina/3rd wheel steps in, wins Johto league, season finale Gold vs Ash.
Series 3 Brendan/May/3rd wheel/Max Brendan wins the GF, may wins Hoenn league, they leave for good.
Series 4 Dawn/Barry/Lucas, I'm not familiar with what they do so yeah they win what they do.
Series 5 Hilda/Hlbert/Cheren/Bianca They also win at the end of the series and leaves.

Then I wouldn't care nearly as much and probably wouldn't even watch anymore. Can't know for sure, but I only watched the first series of Yugioh(two if you count "season 0") and only up to Tamers on Digimon, yet I still enthusiastically watch Pokemon even though it probably has an inferior plot and all. I just stopped caring.

I don't know where this "if Ash wins the league his adventure is over" thing came from but his adventure will be over when the writers say so not when we think so.

And if you are STILL pinning Ash for Roxie's battles and the Runner up losses at the tournaments, just get over it because it. Your opinion of he doesn't deserve to win the league because of that stuff. He can win the league regardless of whatever happens to his character.

The same people who reseted him can make him overpowered again for a reason in the fast paced series. Look at Trip's win in the Junior Cup compared to his losses in the first two tournaments.

This reset is what ruin this series .
Writer should move forward with Ash.

Plus, What harm in Ash becoming really strong after 15 year.
There are anime where Protagonist super strong & almost unbeatable from the start but they still face far greater challenge then Ash.
I guess Writer simply has to change their writing style.
Because People are tried of seeing the rewind of the same plot over & over.
May be That why a lot fan want B2W2 Animated Promo to be fully animated .
And Winning Pokemon League won't turn Ash into a Pokemon Master but it will make Ash closer to achieving his Goal.
If Pokemon League had nothing to do with becoming Pokemon Master then All the trainer who want to be a Pokemon Master wouldn't participate in Pokemon League.

As I said before a mature and powerful ash will never happen outside fanfiction. If ash gets a powerup you can bet his rivals will get triple that to always make him look weak by comparison. They pretty much threw all sense of Even caring when they made trollbias.

Specially with the 6 vs 3 of Homika without solution. I think that Ash will get top 8, being Top 4 at the most. I don't think that Ash would get Top 16 because of the high number of rivals.

In Best Wishes mid.battle evolutions appeasrs to be the norm. And because the league will start soon we expect new evolutions. Don't exist any opening/ending spoiling events (the opeing only spoiled Krookodile and nothing more, the ending is still the Meloetta's theme). onsidering Ash team will found this.

-Pikachu. Technically fully evolved
-Unfezant. Fully evolved.
-Oshawott. Appears in a lot of merchandise with Pikachu. Don't expect evolving soon. Oshawott appears in like 24 goods in 2 months. And I don't see any merchandise of Dewott.
-Pignite. Bianc ahas Emboar and is her main pokemon. Ash won't have Emboar. Highly unlikely to evolve.
-Snivy. Sivy has returned to appears in merchandise. It isn't Oshawott but has various marketability problems. I discard this for the league.
-Scraggy. At the end of the series? Yes. In the League. Could be possible but I think that Scraggy won't evolve here.
-Leavanny. Fully evolved.
-Palpitoad. has three moves, zer omarketability, the League in his only appareances, learns moves only by evolutions. Palpitoad is the only canditate for evolving.
-Boldore. To evolve Boldore needs to be traded. If Ash trade Boldore for some reason, I'm sure that Ash will get Gigalith. But it's difficult to happen.
-Krookodile. Fully evolved.

Basically about evolutions who can evolve:
Palpitoad 70%, Boldore 18%, Pignite 15%, Scraggy 8%, Snivy 3%, Oshawott 0,1%

Only petty people believe Ash will get Top 16.

As I've said countless times, unless the number of competitors is like 256 or 512, it is impossible for Ash to get top 16. Especially since it's pretty much guaranteed that Ash will have at least win one full battle, and that doesn't usually take place until at least Top 16.

I believe DP Ash to be the "most matured" version of Ash, but yeah I see your point.

I'm hoping Trip gets beat pretty easy, not like what happened between Ash and Paul in the league, other rivals need a good battle with him too and hes still new compared to the others so it'd make sense yah know? I would also have loved for Paul to come back but alas no maybe the next league.

Muk has had several battles over the course of the show... Technically, yes.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. You can't just say that. Muk's only battles were against that Bellsprout and against Gary. Other than that it has only made cameos.

Pikachu was sent back out as was eevee. Eevee wins and Ash can move on to region 6.

I read all of that, pretty good! I wanted to take issue with this little bit though, because I da*n sure dont want Pikachu going down against Eevee if it can be helped. It reminds me too much of losing to Tysons Meowth; I want Pikachu to lose to big things.

Especially given what we know about Eevee. Im really not expecting it to be used in single battles

On a side note, a lot of Charizard merchandise is popping up and it featured in the opening, could this mean we will see charizard in the league? Also, how likely do you guys think it is that another Tobias-esque trainer will show up and beat Ash? It's either that or Virgil beats him :/

I don't think we will see a repeat of the tobias scenario.

And depending on who Ash uses I see no problem with him being knocked out by a regular trainer. for example say Ash loses to someone with the following team
- Samurott
- Zoroark
- Archanine
- Golurk
- Hydreigon
- Braviary

Would anyone be shocked at him losing to a team like that, even if he used his Oaked reserves

I would honestly not want Ash loosing to the Eeveelutions. I like them, but I don't think it would be good. They are too similar, and too, well, small, to make the battle seem epic enough for the very final battle of a whole Season.

That's just me, though. I'm sure it would still be a great battle, but the final, to me, needs more variation in shame and such for the Pokémon.

My predictions/hopes/Wishes for the league. And I have gained a lot of respect for those of you who bother with images, it took me longer to find and compile them than writing the battles. Looking back I did think Eevee didn't need to battle and I forgot to insert Wotter into the last battle >.<

First round is a triple battle prelim stage

Ash vs Ricky(the psychic trainer from the tower of sucess)



VS

Ricky uses a gravity team, Ash realizes he's being screwed when he tried to HJK but scraggy gets smashed down by it. However Scraggy learns dark pulse in the nick of time and KOs Beeheeyeem, then

gets taken out by a meteor mash. Snivy defeats Slowking with a combination of nimble skills under gravity and a strong leaf storm attack. Finally Snivy sacrifices herself to allow wotter a direct

hit to metagross with Hydro pump, winning Ash the match.

A 3v3 vs Stephan


VS

So the battle begins with Boldore vs Zebstrika, Boldore sucessfully hinders zebstrika with sandstorm so it can't charge like it used to and then slammed it with rock blast until the zebra falls.

Sawk comes out next, Boldore and sawk collide with rock smash vs Karate chop, Sawk wins and uses the momentum to land a close combat, fainting Boldore. Next Ash sends out Unfezant and Stephan

switches out for Klinklang. Unfezant Uturns out to krookodile who defeats Klinklang, activating Moxie. Sawk comes back out. Krookodile lands a devastating hit on sawk with a boosted dragon claw and

Sawk falls, only to get back up again with Sturdy and KO krook with close combat.

Ash sends out unfezant again who uses air cutter who stephan blocks with close combat, only for unfezant to dive through the sky using that as a distraction for a win with aerial ace

The first of the 6v6s begins, Ash vs Kotetsu.


VS

The battle starts with Arcanine vs Pikachu, Pikachu tries to get in a quick electro ball but is rebuffed by extremespeed, switches out for Palpitoad. Arcanine switches out for Reunicleus, Palpitoad

wins the short but intense standoff. Both trainers switch, PIkachu vs Riolu next, Riolu puts up a nice fight, but Pikachu narrowly wins. Out comes Flygon, Ash decides to be smart and go for an iron tail, only to be met with a dragon pulse in the face, knocking out Pikachu. Ash sends out wotter to which Kotetsu recalls for Ferrothorn. Ash switches to Scraggy. Scraggy tries to HJK, but power whip grabs him by the foot and smashes poor Scraggy into the ground, taking extra recoil from HJK, thunderbolt finishes him. Out comes Pignite, Kotetsu tells Ferro to use Giga impact, but Pignite prove too fast for it and defeats Ferro in one shot with flamethrower. Out comes arcanine, Pignite is recalled for Palpitoad. Arcanine charges up a solarbeam in an effort to finish Palpitoad only for Palpitoad to interupt with uproar, then while Arcanine is down hit it with Hydro pump, knocking it out. Flygon comes out and KOs with dragon pulse. Ash sends out Wotter, Flygon easily wins with rock slide. Pignite comes back again, Kotetsu switches in Samurott. Samurott easily wins with aqua jet. Ash sends out his last pokemon Leavanny, Kotetsu exchanges for Flygon. Leavanny uses swords dance and then launches a boosted energy ball(Hey if it works on blizzard) at Flygon, cleaving through the enemy dragon pulse and KOing the dragon. Kotetsu sends out Samurott. Leavanny readies his leaf blades as Samurott prepares his Scalchops. The two have a swordfight for the ages leaving Ash the winner.

The next round Commences, Ash vs Bianca


VS

The round starts with Pelliper vs Unfezant, Pelliper almost gets the win with a stockpile+spit up combo but Unfezant pulls through for a win. Next comes Escavilier, The 2 meet in a clash of
Megahorn vs Aerial ace, Megahorn wins. Leavanny comes out next and in a bizzare case of irony, steals away one of Escavilier's lances, then using her superior swordsmanship, disarms the other lance and stabs Escavilier under its armor, knocking it out. Liepard comes out next and uses swagger, confusing Leavanny, then jumps up and hits her with acrobatics for a win. Ash sends out Snivy who blocks swagger with attract, and then KOs Liepard by grabbing it while in midair with vinewhip, then smashing its face in with aqua tail, then finishing with leaf storm. Bianca switches in Cincinno who knocks out snivy with tail slap. Ash sends in Boldore, who proceeds to use sandstorm to limit Cincinno's movements before hitting it with a flash cannon, then Rock blast for a win. Bianca then sends out Musharna, Palpitoad comes back in. Musharna tries to hypnosis only to be met with uproar. Musharna then uses energy ball which Ash counters with mud shot and finally Palpitoad pulls off another win with hydro pump. Bianca sends out her prized starter Emboar, Ash recalled Palp for Boldore. Emboar hit Boldore with fire blast, dealing massive damage and causing a burn. Boldore faints from burn damage. Ash sends out Pikachu who tries to attack with thunderbolt but Fire blast proved too powerful. Pikachu then made the fatal mistake of closing in with iron tail, only to be intercepted with hammer arm and flung back, Emboar finished off with fire blast. Ash resends Palpitoad Emboar attacked with rock tomb, Palpitoad pushed back with sludge wave, the sludge forcing the rocks back and poisoning Emboar. Emboar attacked with fire blast which was countered by hydro pump, covering the entire battlefield in steam. Palpitoad blasted the steam away with uproar to find Emboar trying to sneak in with a hammer arm, Palp then trips Emboar with his tongue and sent Emboar packing with mud shot. At this point emboar took poison damage and blaze activated. He prepared to unleash a massive heat crash on Palpitoad only for poison to take him out right before he hit his target.

Ash wins.
 

Round 5, the round we probably all want to see the most.    Spoiler:

The most anticipated battle of the league begins. Ash vs Trip.

-> VS

The battle begins with Wotter vs Volcarona. Ash asks him why Trip is staying in on a type disadvantage but Trip just says come at me bro. Wotter hydro pumps, Volcarona Quiver dances and tanks the hit easily, then easily wipes Wotter out with one hit via Bug buzz. Ash sends in Krookodile, Trip remebered the Croc's strength in the last tourney and decides to show off his own mettle with Haxorus. Ash stone edges while Haxy dragon dances around it then dodges several more stone edges. Haxorus then lunges forward and hits Krook with a dragon claw, knocking off his sunglasses. Krookodile franctically looks for them only to find them near Haxorus's foot. The dragon smirked then crushed the shades. It had the opposite effect on Krookodile, the Crock sprung into a rage and ran towards the dragon with incredible speed, smashing the dragon's face in with an incredible dragon claw that took out the dragon in one hit. Moxie then activates. Trip gapes in disbelief then quickly sent Volcarona back out, Volcarona then surrounded itself with fire dance in a form of countershield. Unfortunately, Krookodile boosted by rage and moxie just sent a stone edge at the fire tornado the stones shredding through the flames to take out Volcarona as well. Moxie activated again. By now the power has gone to Krookodile's head and he started just aimlessly firing off stone edges in all directions while pounding his chest. Trip decided to end this with Conkeldurr. Clownface used Bulk up, then quickly Mach punched to put Krookodile out of his misery. Next Ash sent out Unfezant. Unfezant charges at Clownface only for the boosted fighter to intercept with his concrete pillars, Trapping the bird between them. Grinning maliciously, Clownface used stone edge in close range to OHKO the bird. Ash sent out Snivy next to Which trip grinned and Sent out Jellicent, telling Ash he had a strategy with Jellicent. Snivy was wary of cursed body and so tried to attract, which failed due to being pushed back by scald. Then Snivy used leafstorm, which Jelicent replied with Willowisp, burning through the leaves and burning snivy. A hex KOed Smugleaf. Pikachu was next. Pikachu got in close with iron tail, which trip allowed for cursed body to work, plus water resists steel, only for pikachu to stick his tail in Pringle's mouth and use electroball. That was the end of poor pringles.

Trip then sent out Eelektross. The electric eel managed to beat down pikachu, although not before getting paralyzed from static. For Ash's last hope he sent out Pignite. Pignite seemd to understand the gravity of the situation and Smashed on the ground with all his might for a fire pledge, knocking out Eelektross. Trip then sent out Conkeldurr. Pignite rammed himself against the pillars with flame charge a few times but when Trip ordered COnk to smash down with superpower, Pignite used a fire pledge with lightning speed, blowing up the ground under Clownface and knocking it out. Finally Serperior is released. Pignite flamethrowers, it dodges, He flame charges, Serp dodges, He fire pledges, Serp houdini's his way out. Then Serp used frenzy plant, covereing the entire field in massive root protrusions that prevented movement for all except nimble grass snakes. The roots grabbed onto Pignite and started squeezing hard when suddenly.....Pignite glowed blue and expanded, free of his prison as an Emboar. Alarmed, Serp blasts Emboar with Solarbeam only for Emboar to block the hit with his hands. Then Emboar charged forward with Brick break at the ready, it clashed with dragon tail and both were sent back. Ash told Emboar to use flame charge and halfway through the red flames turned blue and suddenly increased in magnitude, turning into flare blitz, cutting through the roots as he charged colliding with Serperior and sending it into the wall. As the smoke cleared red eyes and white mist appeared as Overgrow took its effect. Serp used Fenzy plant one last time this tie with increased force, Emboar was now locked in a chokehold with frenzy plant and his strength was rapidly fading. Ash called desperately for a fire pledge and with all his might Emboar forced his hand into the ground and set off a fire pledge that blew up the entire battlefield, leaving Serperior unable to battle.

Ash wins.

After the battle nurse joy tells Ash Emboar took too much damage from the last battle to be able to be used in the finals, and since he isn't paul Ash honored Joy's wishes.

Well this is it Final round.

Leavanny vs Leafeon up first. Leavanny once again proves master of the blade as it wins another sword fight with leafeon. Jolteon then used its enormous speed to even out the fight with a quick thunder pin missile combo. Ash sent out krookodile, Jolteon is recalled for Vaporeon or it would have had Krookodile not used pursuit, knocking out Jolteon. Vaporeon manages to tank Krookodile's dragon claw with acid armor. Then used sand attack. Krookodile never had to deal with something like this due to his shades and panicked. Vappy ended it with hydro pump.Wotter was then sent out, and Ash being Ash used hydro pump, healing Vaporeon and Virgil took the time to use hyper beam, Knocking out Wotter. Pikachu came in next and Kod the Vaporeon with thunderbolt. Next up was umbreon who Ash exchanged for Scraggy. Focus blast proved pivotal in hitting the speedy dark eeveelution for a win. Espeon revenged Umbreon with signal beam, and tied with boldore in a psybeam+flash cannon showdown. Pikachu was sent back out as was Flareon. Flareon manages to learn flare blitz, indirectly forshadowing some sort of event or game feature in the future, and Ash loses the Unova league, he then heads off to wherever.
 

And I think I've also learned my lesson on trying to format posts using word. just reordering the pics was a nightmare >.<
