Eevee could have Adaptability or Anticipation. I'm not thinking Run Away xD
Vaporeon could have Water Absorb or Hydration
Jolteon could have Volt Absorb or Quick Feet
Flareon could have Flash Fire or Gut
Espeon could have Synchronize or Magic Bounce
Umbreon could have Synchronize or Inner Focus
Leafeon could have Leaf Guard or Chlorophyll
Glaceon could have Snow Cloak or Ice Body

I see them all but Espeon and maybe Leafeon have their regular abilities as Espeon and Lefaeon's hidden abilities are more useful.

Although I doubt we'll see a lot of their abilities.

In the topic of what would Eevee do to save them, maybe Hyper Voice to break the rocks?

Yea, but he was very close to Iris and Ash. Iris and Ash were on a unstable part of the mountain, while Dent was most likely on the stable part.

Yea, Espeon could have used Psychic to throw the rocks or use Psyshock to destroy them. Maybe this is going to be an early showing of Eevee's power or something.
