Good. The I've been waiting for some real battling for a while now. Training is fine, but it does get boring especially when certain Pokemon(Palpitoad) isn't being used.

    My ideal battle ever!

I am quite considered how many episodes are between this and the League. Maybe, some new titles will be confirmed before this episode airs?

I wonder what they might encounter while with Virgil. They say Virgil protects the city.

Well this Virgil guy could be a real though rival to beat for Ash especially considering he has all Eeveelutions and use type advantage by switching in them battle.

    Ash: Now I choose you!
    Electro Ball!

I would love it if Virgil used the eeveelutions to make a baton pass chain ending with eevee and then beating ash 6-0.

Well, he is about teamwork. So, I would not be surprised. I hope the Helping Hand and Protect aren't the only teamwork moves we see.

I hope we see Eevee with one more. It would be nice to see Eevee with one attack

Considering most of the attacks Eevee can learn suck, what would that be?

Tackle,Quick attack,Take down. Doesn't have to be a great move, just one capable of dealing damage

I'm not saying this should be one of its moves, but have we seen Trump Card yet?

I could see one or two with it but definitely not all
    Espeon/Umbreon would be best guesses

    1. Double Team
    2. Rain Dance
    3. Helping Hand
    4. Last Resort

I believe that with that moveset, and if he uses Vaporeon and Jolteon in a triple battle, that he would be quite the menace.

    1. Double Team always makes for a troublesome situation, but with six pokemon already on the field, you can see how this gets even more complicated..
    2. Rain Dance: Helps Vaporeon with just about anything it does, and never missing Thunder's from Jolteon's side.
    3. Helping Hand: Makes any attack hit harder, for example: Rain boosted Hydro Pumps/Thunder backed by Helping Hand? Ouch..
    4. Strong, strong move that it uses after it has set up moves for the other two.

This.. Oh, and Flareon.. Because there are just so little moves that actually work on that thing.. -.-

Flareon: Flamethrower, Flame Charge, Hyper Voice, Shadow Ball.

What worries me though is the Eevee-line being able to get Stored Power, and Baton Pass, and enough stat-boosting moves to actually make it quite a threat.
    - Eevee: Double Team (Ev+2), Curse (Att/Def+1, Spd-1), Work Up (Att/SpAtt+1)
    - Vaporeon: Above + Acid Armor (Def+2)
    - Jolteon: Above + Agility (Spd+2), Charge Beam (SpAtt+1?)
    - Flareon: Above + Flame Charge (Spd +1)
    - Espeon: Above + Calm Mind (SpAtt, SpDef +1)
    - Leafeon: Above + Swords Dance (Att +2)
    - Glaceon: Above + Barrier (Def +2)

Umbreon doesn't have statboosting moves that Eevee doesn't get, it does get a few disruptive moves though, but isn't worth using much on a BP-chain.

I'd replace Double team with Protect. We already know it has protect here and I doubt its moveset would change in the short time between here and the league

I would prefer two. I think it could be cool to get an episode like in Sinnoh but with hs Unova pokemon training and Pignite, Snivy, and Palpitoad three way evolving.

Hmm... So besides having a variety in type, I also forgot that he could with moves. I guess he's the type of trainer that looks out for type advantages.

Quite refreshing in my opinion. It's rare to see a trainer who actually pays attention to his opponent's type. Virgil is probably very analytical, which will spell trouble for Ash when they battle at the League. Aside from his realistic few on battling, I can't help but feel that Virgil's character is redundant. There's nothing special about him in my opinion.

[ Wish ] Not sure about that, but I'd like to see its debut.

    Vaporeon
    [ Hydro Pump ]
    [ Acid Armor ]
    [ Aurora Beam ]
    [ Waterfall ]

    Jolteon
    [ Discharge ]
    [ Pin Missile ]

    Flareon
    [ Flamethrower ]
    [ Flame Charge ]
    [ Smog ]
    [ Superpower ]

    Espeon
[ Psychic ] Psyshock, especially if Umbreon has Psychic.
    [ Signal Beam ]
[ Iron Tail ] I see it more with Shadow Ball.
    [ Morning Sun ]

    Umbreon
    [ Dark Pulse ]
    [ Confuse Ray ]
[ Shadow Ball ] I can see it with Psychic to have coverage against Fighting.
    [ Faint Attack ]

    Leafeon
    [ Leaf Blade ]
[ Grasswhistle ] Swords Dance could be a nice substitute, IMO.
    [ Solarbeam ]
    [ Aerial Ace ]

    Glaceon
    [ Ice Beam ]
    [ Ice Shard ]
    [ Aqua Tail ]
[ Barrier ] Or even Mirror Coat. Both are good.
    Comments in bold.

I still think that Virgil is stronger than he appears, but I'll wait to see him in action before judging.

We haven't really seen the boy battle in real action yet, so don't jump over the wall before atleast trying to climb it first.
