They did, he was Shigeru flashligth back in Johto I believe.

This episode looks jam packed with action. It seems to have both Virgil and the eeveelution's introduction and meet and greet along with a frozen dam sideplot. At least this ep shouldn't be half random exposition and half battle like the last one.
