It's just a boring fillerish character like Kenny.

Kenny was not fillerish. He brought alot of important plots to Dawn's story. I think he was needed despite his performace. Since Dawn wasn't evolving her Pokemon, Kenny's Pokemon has to be of use.

Just because Iris is claimed experienced doesn't mean she knows everything. I mean look at Ash. She's not going to get to see all the Pokemon in the worl right away.

It's been quite awhile since Iris has been there lol, some things are bound to have changed.

Yeah most likely. To be honest, I'm not excited for this episode.

I don't like the Deino line and Iris' Dragonite doesn't interest me (I dislike the Dragonite species anyway).
Maybe if Georgia makes a special guest appearance or if they mention Axew's desire to evolve again it would be better for me.

I think we would've heard by now if Georgia was appearing. The summaries would've surely mentioned it or a scan pic would've shown her. I doubt we'll see her or Burgundy until after the league now.

Well Iris's Dragonite is the first Dragonite we've seen with actual personality as opposed to the usual smiling, gentle one. It's become well liked among fans (I personally love it).

Not surprised. I mean it did take them over 15 years to create a Dragonite with personality, but it was worth it because it just means Iris's Dragonite is a special one.

But honestly, if you don't like this Dragonite by now, I doubt you will later because it's already done quite a bit.

1. It was captured conveniently one episode before the Junior Cup.
2. Gets her to the semifinals before finally losing.
3. Insert the cliche jump in front of an attack to get the Pokemon to like you scene.
4. Might conveniently obey her an episode prior to her facing her teacher to show how far she has gone on her journey (while using an overpowered pokemon she recently got)

I like it's personality not the way everything is being handled.

While it wasn't planned very well, at least it has a unique move set and and a somewhat different personality.

1 and 2 are common complaints, which I'm personally getting tired of hearing

I don't see the issue with 3 since it was a cute scene that brought them closer, which is exactly the advice Cynthia gave to Iris.

As for 4...I don't know, do you have an issue with it listening to Iris? Were you hoping she would make herself look bad in front of Drayden?
