It's not that bad is it? There are a number of other pokemon you can use and you don't even have to get them to level 100, just 50+. It might even level them up to 50 for you but I'd have to check if it does though. But by all means if you can't do this then no pressure or anything, you don't have to. ^_^;

Well training is my least favorite thing to do in the game, but I'll see if I can get a team. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Oh thank God, I had 5/6 of my team EVd but I didn't feel like raising them to level 50+ today >.> And I assume the tourney can just go for a few days after the start as well right? Like maybe have a week to get battles done or face disqualification or something?

Yeah, I stated that in my last post. Glad to know that it was a good idea to do. :P Here it is again for everyone:

I'm just dropping in to announce that the tournament's starting date will be extended to January 13th instead of December 30th to allow Cynthia and Flare time to prepare (if they want to join). Yes, it's going to be over Wi-Fi, so you're going to have to get each others friend codes when you're set up. Since not all of us can be online on Jan 13th, I'll just be posting the matchups on that date. You'll have a week from then to get in contact with your opponent, battle, and send the battle video to me via PM.

Anyway, I probably won't be taking part it this My stuff on Black is half messed up, and even with the extra time I don't think I'll make it.
^PO is more fixable for me and so I do half my battling there.^

Our next one can be a PO/PS Elesa-themed tournament as Myrrh said, so you can all partake in the battling.

I don't have the patience to catch five more electric Pokemon and train them D:. All I have is my Emolga and a Thundurus. I do have a Cinccino... in my Black copy that I have trouble finding. I'm gonna have to miss out on this. Sorry everyone ^_^"

I likely would be the same level of obsessed, on account that I like Skyla just as much, and I tend to ship them I am so sorry it's my friend's fault not mine.

YES YES, I love both Elesa and Skyla. I love them ingame, I had loads of fun going through their gyms in BW1. One has a roller coaster, the other cannons. I think Elesa would do well in Skyla's place. She could keep her Emolgas.

I'd be slightly more obsessed, SLIGHTLY MORE. I'd have loads of fun battling her. Even more cause she brings her Emolgas over and has them resist electric type moves.

Hm, I'm not too sure. I assume she loses the headphones and gains the propeller in her hair? Skyla's outfit seems kinda skimpy to me, and Elesa wearing it doesn't sit that well with me. Maybe if the straps weren't placed the way they are and if the gloves didn't make hands look big. Since they are swapping personalities I guess it could work, just that their appearances would be off a bit. I would not be as obsessed into Elesa if this were to happen, no.

I’ll be posting the matchups for the tournament now, but this will be one of the last posts I make on Serebii, because I’m going to be leaving. It’s for school-related reasons.

Remember, you have a week from this date to get in contact with your opponent, battle, and send the battle video to Myrrh via PM. Myrrh will be handling all tournament related stuff from now on (unless Touya wants to do it).

~ The Shining World Championship Tournament ~

This will be a Flat Rule tournament in tribute of our amazing goddess of electricity, Elesa. Wonder Launcher will be deactivated and Emolgas dressed up in little maid costumes.

Starts January 13


Rules of the Hawt Modeling Banana

1. No cheating, please. That means hacked Pokemon are a no no.
2. No rage-quitting! We all know how annoying that is. Just imagine what Elesa would do to you if you rage-quitted on her. Imagine it reeaaal good. And STOP DROOLING. I see you drooling, dangnabbit!
3. Only Electric type Pokemon are allowed to enter, including Zapdos, Raikou, and Thundurus. The exceptions to the Electric rule are: Lopunny, Milotic, Leavanny, Ninetails, Rapidash, Delcatty, Flareon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Serperior, Froslass, Lilligant, Gardevoir, and Cincinno. Have a team of 6 prepared.
4. Follow these Smogon clauses:
Species Clause
A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
Sleep Clause
A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
Evasion Clause
A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
OHKO Clause
Players cannot use moves that have a chance of instantly KO opposing Pokémon. For example, Horn Drill is an illegal move to have on a Pokémon's move set.

5. Make sure one or both of you save a Battle Video of your fight and upload it to the Battle Video sharing place (don’t know what it’s called officially).

6. Don’t have any Pokemon in your team hold two of the same item.
