His actual personality was also no different than any generic filler characters. There was literally nothing special about him.

That is true. I feel bad for saying that, since I really don't like saying that. We really didn't know that much about him, only the fact that him and Dawn knew each other since they were kids.

Agreed. Nando may have barely appeared either, but at least he had a unique design/personality going for him.

I liked Kenny, he cracked me up. I had that feeling about Nando, because we barely saw him outside of season 10, and he was supposed to be doing both gym badges and ribbons. He seemed like a wasted character.

OK, I knew that May won basically every contest and Dawn didn't do so well, but there's something about Dawn that makes me choose her. I just can't put my finger on it.

Harley is hilarious, I like him as a character, so I voted for him.

If I have to vote for contest qualities, as far as I can judge, Robert in Hoenn seemed really good to me, and his Milotic is nice!

Dawn for me, it was her contests that got me interested in contests. Followed by Zoey, Nando, Ursula, Jessie (DP), Drew, Kenny and then May.
