The official subs? Those don't tend to be all that different than the dub translation, just a little more direct. I don't really follow what you're trying to say anymore. Are you still claiming that offical translations censor vulgarity. Because they generally don't. Vulgarity in anime tends to be more visual than in the dialogue, anyways.

Im talking more about when you are watching a subbed episode and the subs are sorta different from what was said. Also when you see stuff getting lost in translation...but I guess that is more common in manga. Do you read Claymore? Because I see Raki's name getting changed to Lucky sometimes lol...
I always will prefer subbed anime, I love hearing the original voices and the Japanese
have their own way to do the voices.
Sometimes I laugh when I hear the differences between the original dub and other dubs (This is my own opinion)

I usually prefer dubs, but I like watching subs if the shows aren't dubbed yet. Both languages appeal to me.
I like it subbed. Not because I want to hear the original voices but because then I could learn some japanese and most importantly not ever miss anything they say. I don't like missing a word someone says because I get so pissed and have to rewind and watch it again. Don't you just hate it when you miss a joke and everyone else around you is laughing and you're just staring blankly at the screen trying to figure out why?

I prefer sub, but I'll watch dub if I feel to lazy to read lol. And also damn some dubs just sound.... horrible o.o
It really depends, some characters I like both voices, some I really hate one of the voices xD
eg. Love Grell's Japanese voice but his English voice is just plain stupid.
however I like the Undertaker's English and Japanese voices.
I have been super inactive...
I'm sorry...

I prefer dubbed, because
I can focus only on watching it and I don't have to look down and read then :P
Definitely dubbed. I'm watching the show, not reading it. Furthermore, has anyone heard the original Japanese voices for the DBZ characters? No thank you.

I believe that this depends, for example: If you were to watch DBZ (If you don't know what that stands for you should slam your head against the wall) I prefer dubbed. But for anime like Blue Dragon, I prefer it subbed, even though it is by the same author and everything.
Dude your signature is epic
I prefer it subbed to be honest. The dub omits and adds stuff that was never in the original sometimes which upsets me. Though there are other times where I like to watch dubbed because they add in humor and the English voices go well with the characters and such.
Best friends forever, Sisters at heart ♥
Dubbed.
Seriously, if I wanted to read something, I'd read a book, a fan-fiction or a hilariously dramatic and funny forum post. I want to see the action, not have my eyes glued to the bottom of the screen every split second just to see what they're saying.
One exception is the two Gurren Lagann movies which weren't dubbed yet.
