    THE TEAM:

    Ratchet Girl (Hippowdon) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 252 HP | 4 Def | 252 SDef
    Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
Moveset: Stealth Rock | Earthquake | Whirlwind | Slack Off

Hippowdon sets up Stealf Rock early in da game. Additionally thanks ta Whirlwind, nahh Pokemon will be able ta take uh significant advantage early-game ta set up on Hippowdon, making it uh great lead. Hippowdon can wear down teams easily wif Whirlwind, shuffling da team around an' messing up da opponent's strategy, as well as dealing residual damage wif Stealf Rock at da same tyme. Hippowdon can also switch into many setup Pokemon, even special attackers, an' phaze dem thanks ta its amazing bulk.

da EV spread maximizes Hippowdon's overall bulk. Besides being uh standard solid physical wall, it can survive uh Draco Meteor from uh Choice Specs Modest Hydreigon, an' Slack Off ta regain HP. In da absence o' uh special wall, dis here allows da team ta rely on Hippowdon ta tank some special hits.

Go Ratchet (Rotom-W) @ Chesto Berry
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 36 HP | 252 SAtk | 220 Spd
    Nature: Modest (+SAtk, -Atk)
Moveset: Volt Switch | Hydro Pump | Hidden Power [Fire] | Rest

Yo dis here set takes advantage o' all o' Rotom-W's strengths, namely its well-distributed stats, fantastic defensive an' offensive typing, an' Levitate. da Modest nature an' Special Attack EVs mean dat Rotom-W will be hitting wif uh ton o' power; almost nuttin' iz safe from its onslaught. Rotom-W makes one o' da very bomb Gliscor counters thanks ta Levitate, an' can also reliably switch into da likes o' Gyarados an' Jellicent thanks ta its new resistance ta Water-type attacks. Volt Switch iz an excellent move ta preserve momentum. Thanks ta its new typing, Rotom-W now receives STAB on Hydro Pump as well. Between da Volt Turn an' Hydro Pump, Rotom-W can hit da vast majority o' da metagame fo' either neutral or super effective damage. Hidden Power Fire iz also useful ta hit Grass-types, who resist Rotom-W's dual STAB, super effectively. Rest + Chesto Berry rounds out Rotom-W's arsenal, an' takes advantage o' Rotom-W's naturally low HP by granting it da ability ta heal up in uh pinch.

da EV set iz one ah gots from uh pimp-tight niqqa o' mine. Maximum Special Attack investment capitalizes on Rotom-W's attacking prowess, an' allows Rotom-W ta hit extremely hard wif its dual STAB. ah'm not sho 'boutthe Speed EVs, but ah'm fine *** sho it allows Rotom-W ta outpace all Tyranitar, 252 Spe Adamant Scizor, 252 Spe Adamant Breloom, an' most variants o' Gliscor. da remaining EVs is dumped into HP ta bolster Rotom-W's already solid defenses.

Niqqa I'm Ratchet (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP | 88 Def | 164 SDef | 4 Spd
    Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
Moveset: Spikes | Thunder Wave | Bulldoze | Power Whip

Yo Standard Ferrothorn. Spikes werk excellently on Ferrothorn, giving it somethin` ta do afta switching in on an opponent dat can't whack him. Thunder Wave keeps da other pokemon cripplied which iz always uh pimp-tight thin`. Bulldoze let's me hit Magnezone an' Jirachi which iz always nice. Power Whip iz one o' Ferrothorn's bomb attacking options, hitting da majority o' da standard metagame fo' at least neutral damage.

da EV Spread balances Ferrothorn's Defense an' Special Defense, wif uh slight emphasis on Defense, allowing Ferrothorn ta fare bettah against threats such as Landorus, Haxorus, Gyarados, an' some variants o' Scizor. da 4 Speed EVS allows it ta outspeed opposing ferrothorn an' outspeed Adamant Lucario afta it's Thunder Waved.

Let's Get Ratchet (Starmie) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP | 42 Satk | 216 Spd
    Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
Moveset: Scald | Psyshock | Recover | Rapid Spin

Starmie iz well known fo' being an offensive Rapid Spin user, but it also has all da tools necessary ta run an effective defensive Rapid Spin set: decent defenses, uh pimp-tight Psychic / Water typing, access ta Recover, an' Natural Cure. Scald iz da preferred Water-type STAB move on dis here defensive set, as it has uh very useful chance o' burning many prominent physically attacking Pokemon such as Scizor an' Tyranitar. Psyshock iz used ta hit Fighting- an' Poison-types such as Terrakion, Virizion, Toxicroak, an' Tentacruel. Also, cuz Psyshock hits da opponent's Defense stat, it do uh decent amount o' damage ta Blissey an' Chansey if dey lack Defense EVs. Rapid Spin be uh great move ta gots, as entry hazards is practically on every team. Recover iz what makes da defensive set shine, as it greatly increases Starmie's longevity.

dis here EV spread only uses 216 speed evs cuz ah mainly plan on usin` it ta outspeed Gengar. da HP EVs give Starmie as much overall bulk as possible, while da small Special Attack investment ensures dat Starmie iz able ta OHKO Gengar an' hit Amoonguss uh little bit harder.

She Ain't Nothing but a Ratchet (Stoutland) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Sand Rush
    EVs: 252 Atk | 4 Def | 252 Spd
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
Moveset: Frustration | Pursuit | Wild Charge | Superpower

Yo dis here iz Stoutland's bomb set—da only one viable in OU. Thanks ta Sand Rush, it has an effective Speed stat o' 518 in sandstorm, which iz enough ta outpace da entire unboosted metagame, including most Choice Scarf users. dis here allows Stoutland ta become an effective revenge killer, as it can utilize uh Choice gang ta hit much harder than most other Choice Scarf revenge killers while still outpacing boosted opponents.

Frustration is Stoutland's preferred STAB move an' allows it ta heavily dent several foes or finish off uh weakened team late-game. Superpower allows it ta destroy most Rock- an' Steel-types, such as Terrakion an' Ferrothorn. Pursuit iz da preferred option fo' da third slot, as it puts Ghost- an' Psychic-types, such as Gengar an' Latios, in uh checkmate position if dey try ta switch out. Finally, Wild Charge iz dere ta 2HKO Skarmory an' Jellicent, as dey don' take much damage from any o' Stoutland's other moves; furthermore, it lands an OHKO on bulkier variants o' Gyarados.

da given EVs maximize Stoutland's offensive prowess by maximizing Attack an' Speed. An Adamant nature along wif uh Choice gang lets it hit as hard as possible

I do it for the Ratchets
    (Landorus) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Sheer Force
    EVs: 4 Def | 252 SAtk | 252 Spd
    Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
Moveset: Substitute | Earth Power | Psychic | Hidden Power [Ice]

Although Landorus iz usually viewed as uh physical sweeper, one mus' not forget dat it actually has uh usable base 115 Special Attack. Add Sheer Force an' da special movepool ta abuse it, an' you gots uh dangerous, albeit underrated, threat. Sheer Force boosts da majority o' Landorus's Special moves, giving it greater power than da physical version outside o' sand, an' also negates Life Orb recoil. Landorus iz forced ta use uh strange array o' moves, but somehow deez come together ta provide pimp-tight super effective hits on most opponents. Earf Power iz Landorus's bomb special STAB move, boosted by Sheer Force, an' so be uh given. Hidden Power Ice may seem uh strange choice, given dat it iz not boosted by Sheer Force, an' will hence cause Life Orb recoil, but it secures an OHKO on Gliscor, other Landorus, Salamence an' Breloom, as well as hitting uh host o' other Dragon- an' Grass-types. Psychic be uh move rarely seen without STAB, but iz chosen here largely cuz it iz bof powerful an' accurate. It OHKOes Breloom, Keldeo, Conkeldurr, an' Gengar, as well as hitting Rotom-W accurately. Substitute iz so dat it can manage ta kill atleast one or two pokes 'bfoe ah be forced ta switch out an' helps keep status away.

da EV spread on dis here set could hardly be any mo' simple. Special Attack iz maximised, in order ta maximize damage output, an' so iz Speed along wif uh Timid nature, so dat Landorus can outrun Salamence, Jirachi, Volcarona, Hydreigon, an' Haxorus, among others.

    Needs more Scrafty.

Seriously though, pretty nice team overall. A big change that I would make, however, is to reverse the roles of Rotom-W and Starmie, making the former a bulky variant and the latter an offensive spinner. In my opinion, Starmie's much better as an offensive 'Mon, and you'd switch Rotom-W to a bulky variant for variety and its ability to burn stuff being useful. I also feel that Landorus is better suited as a physical sweeper, with Sand Force over Sheer Force, obviously. Also, I'm not a fan of Stoutland, either, but I really cba to give a more detailed rate at this time but...

Based on the peaks, you're a good OU player that knows a lot better than I do. Maybe some stuff to think about, though.

I play the team Bulky-Offensive like. So i think using a Bulky Starmie and ChestoRest Rotom-W suits the team better than Offensive Starmie and Bulky Rotom-W. Offensive Starmie would most likely die quicker and Bulky Rotom-W wouldn't really that helpful vs things like Ferrothorn or wouldn't do as much to Politoed. Thought Bulky Rotom-W may work since it'll be able to tank hits better. I'd give it a shot if I still played pokemon though. Lol

And, I do also prefer Sand Force Lando over Sheer Force Lando in most cases. But I used this team before Genesect and it did fairly better vs Stall and walls such as Jellicent / Amoongus / and Donphan. It also does a better job at beating Conkeldurr who is pretty troublesome to my team.

    Thank you though

    Good work Theebay!

I really like how much effort you put into the descriptions. The team itself is very mediocre ( try scrafty the most ratchet pokemon ever ).However, the pictures and the name of the team make it a very tuff team to fight!
