Once a challenger has defeated 8 gym leaders, their final four will NO LONGER be decided by lottery. Just find a gym you have no battled yet, and follow the special FF rules. It's too hard to force people to battle :S Like a bad clan war...

If this still doesn't work, then I will simply cut the league down to 8 gyms and 4 Elites (using the same rules). Legacy clan members shall have special privileges to become Elites.

Alright people. I think Ive decided on a new rule to balance things out.

Considering I am allowing you to CHOOSE your FF from now on, I want to level the fields for everyone.

Challengers from now on may bring in as many pokemon as they wish that resists the leaders type. However, you are not permitted to use any SE moves against the leaders main type. Be it STAB or not STAB.

Think of it as a compromise. I give you an easier FF challenge, but harder gym challenges.

The way I see it, the challenger obviously won't bring in mon weak to a leaders type. So leaders never have the SE STAB bonus. With this rule, neither opponent has an advantage save for defensive secondary types.

This rule will go live in one week.

T.W.I., i think we need to require gym leaders to go on the xat chat, I've been hearing complaints about challengers being unable to get a match due to gym leaders either ignoring their pm's or being unavailable too often. Just a suggestion but having them be required to be on the xat when available would make getting matches done a lot easier.

I would, but I can't really enforce that :S

TBH, I may start axing leaders who aren't available or making a quota for leaders. I'm officially opening my gym now, but I live in a crazy time zone so PM me for an appointment.

I really wanted to avoid the standard 8 leader 4 eilte league, but its easier to manage people that way.
